Decisive Action

The location, Fabus City on Fabus Island, home of the famous, "Fabus Naval Yards", the White Peoples Radio and Television Network was there to cover the event, for which over fifty thousand of the island's three hundred thousand citizens turned out to see. Security was tight also, with ten thousand of the two hundred thousand soldiers on the island being present.
Speaking via the radio program, was Vladimiar Markovic, who was on location for the launching of the first of the new carriers. He was clearly smiling as the bottle hit against the side of the ship. That is when he started to answer questions for the media.
There was a shout, "Mr. Markovic, sir, how many more ships will be made?"
He chuckled a bit, "Oh, I don't know, a lot though, it's for the Czar to decide."
Another reporter, a woman from the Commonwealth News Network, shoved a microphone towards him, not too close or demanding, but close enough to be a bother. He just shrugged it off and waited for her question, he didn't have long to wait, she quickly asked, "Sir, Mr. Markovic, will this be the start of a general increase in naval strength?"
He shook his head, "No, I'm afraid not, although I can't really say for sure, the final say rests with the Czar and Czarina."
It was somewhat obvious that Markovic wasn't looking forward to any further questions where his answer would have to be, "The Czar would get the ultimate say." And so he was basically ready to end the interview, he'd answered over three dozen questions before the ceremony as well.
He cracked a slight grin at the nearest camera and said, "I have to be going, the job of the Defense Minister is always ongoing, the price of security is eternal vigilance."
With that said, Markovic turned around and walked slowly towards his Cadillac which was parked a block or so away. After which, he'd be going back to the airport to fly back to Jackson City.
