Scandavian States
15-01-2005, 21:11
After the introduction of the Sabre class DHKNs, the 252 Gaea class DDGNs that they were meant to replace were taken from active service and put into mothballs. Normally warships would be scraped for reclamation almost immediately, but the spectre of war was looming and it was decided that the excess destroyers might have a future use. This decision has proven fortuitous, not because there is any major war that would require the reactivaiton of these ships, but because the hull can be used as a rebuild operation to phase in the Scandavian variant of the Freethinkers Centaur-X class DDGN.
