Karl von Esling was indeed furious. The shisouhan knew where they were.......they had barely survived, good thing Beta Site and its systems were up, otherwise, the movement would be seriously weakened, they could be caught easily during the repairs of Newport.

It was time for a new HQ.....someplace secret....someplace where they could lay low from the Shisouhan for awhile.

He got an idea. A nation dubbing itself Europe and Eurasia had sent an encouraging letter to Shogun Kimiko......it was a golden opportunity they could not pass up.

He pulled out his pen, a Pilot Pen, and began writing.

"To the leader of Europe and Eurasia-

I will take you up on the offer to shelter troops in your land. I wish to start a reserve Headquarters in your area, so that in case the shisouhan attack us again and our suppliers are defeated, we will have a place of refuge.

Dear Madame and Sir,
Our country, being a stronghold of belief in the Anime religion, is extremely worried about the growing Anti-Otaku sentiment growing around the world. As such, we hereby ally ourselves and our people to the glorious cause of the RALM and offer you a place of refuge in our great country. The military facility built around the old castle of Veritas Aurus has been abandoned for some time, it is equipped with large barracks, motor pools and airstrips as well as several disused but fairly up to date manufacturing plants. The castle itself can be used as a headquarters and residence for youselves, the facility also contains 12 missile silos containing long range ICBMs armed with multiple Hafnium QNF warheads, these you can use at your leisure.

We thank you for the request, we will have to obviously make it so a front company owns it, to ease suspicions.

Will you allow for the construction of an additional bunker system under this base?

Six An-225 Mirya planes, marked "KSC Shipping," flew into the area. Filled with men and arms, they would set up operations.

The an-225's radioed Europe and Eurasia Air Defense Command, saying:

"Air Defense COmmand, this is KSC Shipping Flight 9. Requesting permission to land at Veritas Aurus."

"KSC shipping flight 9 this is Imperial central air command, you are cleared to land on runways 1 though 3 of the Veritas Aurus facility"

The KSC Shipping planes landed at the runways, and soon, men, Caterpillar construction equipment, slave workers in blue jumpsuits and men in RAF-style uniforms with PPK's poured out of the planes, and began to set up operations inside the complex.

A black limo bearing the Europe and Eurasian national flag and the flag of the Emperor pulls up alongside one of the landed planes soon after the RALM have gotten settled in. Mr. Gincarelli said, in a thick New York accent, "Hello, Alexius, how are you doing.......I am Mr. Gincarelli, the man managing the project here. Do you have any questions for us?"

"Just thought I would let you know about a few things before you get settled, first off, our country has a little trouble with tracking outside observers so we've left you with several trucks, cars and other vehicles with Imperial army insignia so you can operate in this country without foreign observers notising you, they'll think you're just some army regiment. Second, We've left you several ICBMs in the silos over there" Alexius points to a series af large hatches near the airstrips "now they're currently armed with QNF warheads but you can take them out and put in any type of bomb you guys have in there. Also, ofcourse you'll need the codes to arm the warheads and fire the missiles, they're in here" Alexius hands over a black breifcase "And finally" he points to castle Veritas Aurus "there's the castle itself, now besides the magnificant quarters that your leaders would use in the castle and the object d'art throughout it, the castle also contains the nerve centre of the base, in the great hall we've put all of the computer systems and communications equiptment that run the base and enable you to oversee operations abroad, the castle also includes an LPI Phased Array high energy radar sytem that can detect even the stealthiest of planes from a considerable distance and can automaticly fire S.A.M missiles on any intruder craft it may encouter, just make sure that you program it precisely"

Mr. Gincarelli beamed. "Thank you sir, you are most kind. We will put these items to work."

"You're very much welcome, Mr. Gincarelli, but I must be going now, the precarious public opinion over our support of your orginisation means that I can't appear to be biased either way at this time so I can't stay long" the Emperor politely bids his farewell to Mr. Gincarelli then steps into his car and drives away.

Emperor Alexius was sitting at his desk in his cavernous office when his cheif military advisor, Imperial Marshall Simon Gioias, walked up to his desk carrying several documents in his hand.

"Look at this" Simon told the Emperor, "what is it?" his Majesty queried, "reports from the observation post we've had watching Veritas Aurus to see how the RALM are making progress, they've taken photographs clearly showing that the RALM are having some sort of summit meeting there" Simon said with a sence of urgency in his voice "your Majesty, I implore you to consider my proposal to institute a liason officer at Veritas Aurus to make sure the RALM aren't doing anything that may hurt our nation" "I have considered your proposal" Alexius said after perousing the intelligance reports "and I think that we should put in a liason officer at Veritas Aurus, but I'm worried that such a decision may convey a sence of mistrust on our part to the RALM" "Don't worry sire" Simon reassured Alexius "I will put my best diplomat on the job, the RALM will surely be completely comfortable with him" "good, see to it that he gets to Veritas Aurus as soon as possible" the Emperor said, confirming the order to send a liason to the RALM site "thank you, your Majesty" Simon said whilst giving the Emperor a respectful bow and then promptly leaving.

RALM "CHARLIE SITE" BASE, FORMER IMPERIAL ARMY STRATEIGIC DEFENCE FIREBASE, VERITAS AURUS CASTLE, STAVOS PROVENCE, 12 HOURS LATER

An Imperial army jeep bearing the usual light grey camoflauge pattern and wreathed sword and eight pointed star insignias common of all Imperial army vehicles and uniforms pulled up to the entrance of the Veritas Aurus facility, the RALM guards, having already donned the uniforms the army had left them so as not to arouse suspicion, looked every bit the Imperial legionare and could have seemlessly blended in with any army unit from Eureka city itself to the freezing frontier of Omicron pass. The Jeeps occupant showed the guards his military I.D "Greetings, I'm Major Andreus Draco of the Imperial army high command staff, I've been reassigned to be a liason officer for this facility"

One of the Tokko agents walked up to him and said, "Mr. Gincarelli is in the Castle.....he has instructed me to tell you that they wish to plan a war against Kahta with Malkyer and Chronosia. If you wish, you may sit in this meeting."

Andreus politely nodded his head "it was one of the reasons I was sent here" he drove his Jeep up to the castle, he showed the guard at the door to the castle his I.D and was directed to the room where the meeting was taking place.
