With the invasion and annexation of Pakistan nearly half completed, Grays Hill now sets its eye on Qatar. This is in light of recent events. Truitt has expanded his nation to include not only almost all of South East Asia, but now the UAE and Yeman. This leaves Qatar as the only "free" nation left. This is why the great nation of Grays Hill is jumping on the chance to secure its interest on the Arabian Penensula.

An official statement has been sent to Qatar: "You can peacefully comply and join the great nation of Grays Hill. You will be protected by the might of the Grays Hill military, and immune from take over by any other nation. Truitt has invaded your neighbors of the UAE and Yeman. As you probably know, Truitt is based in SE Asia, and many Middle-Easterners will not agree with or comply with the the take over. Failure to comply will result in take over by force. Please dont view this as a threat, but as a proposal by us to protect you from Truitt and preserve your customs. Please respond in 48 Hours."

OOC: I need a nation to RP as Qatar. Please keep in mind what they would really do, join my nation to preseve their customs, or be forced to join Truitt later down the road (possibly) and loose their customs.

"We will not comply with such destrcutive nation and we believe we have the oppertunity to slaughter thou who oppress our Arab friends. We also believe your attempt will fail and our freedom fighters will slaughter you!" Leaders of Qatar.

That night people all over Qatar were given weapons and many were preparing to fight for their beliefs, and their country. The "soldiers" were a bunch of pathetic little children, usually younger than 20 and rarely ever knew how to use a gun. Regular soldiers of the Qatarian Army were trained well, but they numbered to little to set up and organized resistance.

People were preparing for the fight that would come, and no one knew why they were going to die, or how, they just knew they were going to. The soldiers of Qatar organized ditches, and trenches ofr defence and got the few tanks and vehicles they had, ready for action. They told citizens to get ready and snadbag their walls and windows. The soldiers also trained some younger men in how to fight when they weren't working. The entire country seemed ti want to fight. But, would they?

"I urge you to rethink you actions. I am offering you a peaceful entry into this nation, and the garuntee of your safety. Or be oppressed by Truitt and have South East Asian customs and beliefes pushed upon you. I urge you, once again, not to fight. May I remind you of the situation that just ended in Pakistan. I gained control of the entire nation in a little under a week. Please, do not fight."

"I, sadly, must reject this offer, as we do not think that your nation can do anything better tahn what we have already done, we do not think you cn even conquer us. For we are ready to fight!" Leaders of Qatar.

The Qatar people were arming themselves the government recorded that over fifty thousand had already. The militia and the soldiers combined could possibly have a long fight against Gray Hills, but most likely, like Pakistan, they would be over ran. Of course, that would only happen after a long deadly war.

President al-Sahaf thought to his self, “Damn, my propaganda plan failed. We must continue with the invasion, or make Grays Hill look feeble.”

He ordered air strikes thought out the nation to make their radar facilities go down. Qatar was a small nation, not very advanced, but with the willingness to fight. 31 B-2 Bombers took off all headed for known radar facilities throughout Qatar. Their objective: make Qatar blind. Followed closely by 30 F-117s to bomb any grounded planes. Satellite images helped out a lot with finding the locations of radar and grounded planes. This first strike had to hit hard to show the people of Qatar that Grays Hill meant business. Also because after the stealth attack, they would most likely send all their fighters airborne. The stealth attack should catch them off guard, and they shouldn’t be able to see them coming.

On the other side of the Persian Gulf, thousands of troops were being loaded into transports to make amphibious assaults throughout Qatar. The 67th Tank Regiment was on the border ready to pounce at any given moment. And Paratroopers from the 93rd Airborne were ready to penetrate the enemy. Their goal was a swift hard victory.

OOC: the only action taken against Qatar was the stealth bombing of radar and grounded planes. no ground invasion has started yet

The majority of the Qatar Air Force was wiped out on the ground and the people felt insecure. People all over Qatar knew the invasion was inevitable, the famous death fight was coming to them sooner than thought.

"Our people will not be stripped of freedom, or their beliefs. We will stand and fight for the homeland and for our freedom. We shall no longer be pushed over by rebels, infidels and warmongering puffs! We will not die invain, for Qatar." The

OCC: Waits for invasion for some intense city fighting.

”The people of Qatar will not be stripped of their beliefs or freedom. The point of this war was to preserve them and protect them.” President Osama al-Sahaf.

Back on the border, the 67th Tank Regiment rushed across the border. They were aided with constant close air support from Apaches. They pushed for the city of Umm Sa’id. The 93rd Airborne took off, and were to parachute in the black of night, into the cities of Dukhan and Umm Bab. And troops poured onto beaches at Al Khuwayr, Ar Runways, Al Khawr. Constant bombing commenced through out Qatar. Targets were any military bases, tanks, plain and ships. Bombardment from ships in the Persian Gulf was aimed at the capital city of Doha, in and effort to decapitate the Qatarian leadership. Guerilla warfare and street to street fighting will do nothing but prolong the invasion for a very short period of time.

The soldiers all over the front were crumbly and retreating, cities fallinglike mad. Thousands of people fleeing. Of course no one could really confirm that they were being invaded, but people were dead and guns were firing. Cities burning after hours of city fighting, block to block. The majorirty of anything that could pose a threat to the Grey Hills military was destroyed or abandoned. Tanks, ships, bases, airplanes. They were all destroyed and abandoned.

The capital was heaviyl bombarded, people fled to their basements, if they had one. The fighting in all of the cities seemed to end as the capital was planning on surrendering. According to reports half the country was already conquered. The people were retreating to Doha for the last stand if possible, other cities were falling into anarchy as the government fell apart.

President Osama al-Sahaf gave the government of Qatar one last and final chance to surrender. This is in order to save lives, on both sides. Should they surrender, Qatar will become part of the Empire of Grays Hill, and all cities damaged will be rebuilt. No customs, beliefs or religion will be change or forced upon anybody.

"We cannot allow such, the entire Qatar nation will fight to kill."

Stories of militia charging tanks, and other martyrisms inspired an all out offence from militia on all fronts, the fighting came at a heavy price. The militia died quicker than flys on a hot day, but they did the job, they killed enemies and they held them off long enough for soldiers to try to clean the enemy up.

"Fonzi, those guys, Grey Hills, are trying to take Qatar just as we are about to order our forces to Yemen." Stormed in Councilari James Conners. "What? Why the Hell would they do that?" Asked Jewitt looking up form his Cream Soda and Butterfinger midnight snack (OOC: Actually, I have the samething :-P).
"They blame us and are trying to 'protect' them." Said James sitting down and grabbing an unopenned Cream Soda bottle. "Ha, send a small Covert Operations Division out there with a small T-Boat Division, give them a fight. We only expanded, well, we did it in the name of Imperialism but they don't know that." Said Fonzi finishing off his Cream Soda and grabbing an other.
"Look, Fonzi. We can not have a war in the Middle East, we already have enough with the possable problem of Communist Brazil in South America."

Jewitt smiled. "Diplomacy is for Liberals my good friend. You know that. They take a nation here, what is to stop them from comming to our mainland? What if they took Laos instead of us, or what if they claimed Malaysia? How about claimming Qatar to give us somethign to consentrait on while they strike us out of the Middle East? We can not live in Asia for long and South America has limits."

Conners looked at him blankly for a few minutes. The young adult was speeking like one for once in nearly four years. Conners nodded and left.

IC: "Damn these bustards! They just wont give up. This calls for many large-scale bombings. Level the remaining cities, including the capital. Show them who they are really messing with." al-Sahaf said and he read the daily report.

With that, planes of all sorts warmed up and prepared to annihilate the cities of Umm Salal’ Ali. Ar Rayyan, Al Wakrah, and Doha. 40 B-52s took off, 10 for each city. They were to drop mass amounts of bombs throughout the entire city they were designated to. War ships in the gulf were ordered to fire, without stopping at each of the cities.

Once the cities were destroyed, or no factor, then troops would enter them and raise the Grays Hillian flag.

After the heavy bombardment from ship, plane and ground, the cities remaining, especially Doha, were no longer considered cities, just rubble puddles. The enitre city seemed to be suspended in time, no movement. The movement started during the brakes during shell blasts, people would get up and move to a better spot. The government of Qatar was literally dead, except for the president who had remained in a deep bunker the entire time.

" We surrender to you our nation, if you promise to protect us from the Alien beliefs that will destroy us. We will surrender- *boom*." The President sent out.

Clean up began as soon as troops entered the cities. Clean up crews from all around the empire were all either in Qatar or Pakistan. But for the most part, they were in Qatar, because it was the worst of the two. Food and medicle supplies were also being handed out. Qatar was now in the hands of the Empire of Grays Hill...

In his RP he has clearly stated he has not claimed South West nor South East China. S.W. is a prime target of mine and Taiwanese Islands has S.E. as a target, with me wanting it also.
I know he owns a northern section of China, dono what though. Will have to check.
