In order to "weed" out structural weaknesses commonly found in most sniper rifles, the reciever of the rifle is made out of a solid piece of forged steel and forms a stressed part of the action. The action is long enough to compensate for the .338 Lapua Magnum round which it uses.
The action cocks on opening and the bolt has a short lift of 60 degrees, which ensures that the shooter is able to eject and re-chamber a fresh cartridge with minimum effort and without removing his or her head from the cheek rest. Even the cartridge headspacing can be reset by means of a removable steel locking ring pinned inside the front bridge of the action.
It has a 25-inch free-floating heavy stainless steel barrel, built onto an anodized aluminum chassis. It is normally equipped with a specially designed scope, and when equipped with a well-sealed scope it is capable of first shot hit, cold, hot, or with what is commonly reffered to as a "fouled barrel."
Tests of the rifle at 300ft proved ten-shot groups of roughly a third of an MoA (1/3 of an inch). That shows the deadliness and the tremendous accuracy of the M-52 rifle.
The rifle, when purchased, comes with a scope (10x magnification, infared), a bipod, a sling, a cleaning kit, and ten five round magazines. This is all placed inside of a lightweight and very durable carrying case and shipped directly to your nation from our company.
