DGNT begins research into nearly free energy

Free Energy Project Proposal:
DGNT scientists began to research a number of micro-universes recently discovered by new multi-level scanners. Having accessed a 'barren' universe almost totaly devoid of matter and energy the scientists were studying the effects of total vaccume on small furry animals.
The project was started when one scientist accidentaly droped a shoe into the access door. The force generated by the escaping atmosphere hurled the shoe into the relativly small universe, where it crossed the boarder between one side and the other, striking the spacecraft and causing a large dent.
Curious, the scientist retrived a flask and filled it with a phosphorescent substance, dropped it into the access panel and moved the spacecraft aside. The bottle proceded to accelerate into the space, 'falling' rapidly from one side of the universe to the other, and coming back again. Three weeks later it is showing no signs of slowing.

The incident rapidly caused a stir in the DGNT energy community, who immidiatly clammoured for the program to be shut down. However, for once, the DGNT govornment supported the anti-buisness side and gave the program full funding.
The idea is that a power station can be constructed in such a micro universe, about one mile in diameter, and accelerated through a generator turbine. The power generated is free, but so far too little is generated to make much differnce, since a good deal of the turbines power is used to maintain the link between our Universe and the alternate mini-verse.
Another problem is the rapid slowing of the accelerated magnet, caused by its attraction to the turbines magnets, but this will hopefully be fixed when a proper acceleration device can be constructed, possibly involving electromagnets switched on and off at the correct intervals so as to provide ever increasing speed to the first magenet as it passess through the turbine.

In the spirit of international cooperation, Dontgonearthere has decided to open the program to other nations science corps, allowing contributions.
Any nation participating shall recieve FULL plans and production rights to all aspects of the new technology, as well as any discoveries.

(OOC note:
I know, I most likely got some of the electrical generation tech wrong, Im not a nuclear engineer :P
But I feel the general idea is sound, if you follow the theory that one end of the universe is the start of the other end, a sort of infinite loop.
Its a pretty neat idea even if it turns out to be unworkable.)

The Republic of Kyanges would like to assist your efforts in this exciting and promising development.

We would like to contribute 2 billion USD to your program along with a team of 10 top scientists from our Latebra Scienticia University to help with solving the current issues plauging this system.

Dontgonearthere thanks you for your contribution, we assure you GLACORP will put the money and the men to good use in the program.

The program suffered a setback yesterday when a magnet traveling at near lightspeed passed near an unbalanced turbine magnet, resulting in an unpleasant incident.
Studies in the miniverse where this occured have been put on hold, due to razor sharp shrapnel travling at extremly high speed.

One slight advance is the discovery of a number of universes where normal physical laws seem to be only partialy in effect, although some have other, rather strange, laws.
A promising universe seems to have no upper limit on the speed an object can attain, but unfourtunatly it also appears to contain lifeforms capable of attaining intellilgence, so clearing it is not a palatable option.

Another approach invloving a %99 effecient chemical propellant is currently being considered, but this would mean that the program would need a new universe roughly every year in order to keep producing enough electricity to be considered effecient. The buildup of unspent fuel would slowly buildup and cause resistance to the magnet.

Many in DGNT were overjoyed at the thought of having an unlimited supply of cheap, clean energy. A number of spontanious demonstrations were reported in the streets of G'oaway and other major cities not currently floating about in molecular form due to the recent war.

The Nation of Hakurabi would like to assist in the development of this revolutionary new form of power production and, whilst unable to budget large amounts of funds, will provide construction craft and salvage vessels to aid in construction and the cleanup of the unfortunate accident.

We can also provide a team of 30 highly skilled scientists, who have volunteered after discovering this project.

AD-FL1092
Commander of Lamda Salvage Fleet

Abraham Hewitt
Head Engineer of Gamma Construction Fleet

OOC: Yes, My nation has equal AI rights. The Salvage vessels have high-power shields (Should take 1-2 weeks to fit) and magnetic collectors.

Your contribution is appreciated, we will dispatch information packets with the needed data to your nations ASAP.

OOC:
Any objections to this tech? Shall I just say its done? 'Cause I cant think of anything else to say :P

OOC:
You should probably say that you've found out that reasonably good mini-universes are, in fact, very rare, and that you've just been lucky. This would be mostly because the "big bang" is supposed to release all sorts of matter, such as hydrogen, and eventually forms more complex elements. So that would mean that you would need to find a way of synthesizing a miniscule universe devoid of matter.
