Full Name: The Republic of Super-power (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/target=display_nation/nation=super-power)
Government: Libertarian Democratic Republic
Super-power's government is a semi-Federal system where power is shared between state and Federal authorities, and currently leans towards state sovereignty. Based off of libertarian principles, the Federal government holds the responsibility of defence, foregin policy, and maintenance of inter-state infrastructure.
The Federal government is divided between a lawmaking branch, an executive branch, and judicial interpreters. Said judiciaries maintain strict constructionism of Super-power's Constitution. Super-power boasts both extremely small state and Federal governments of about 1 official per 3000 citizens.

Armed Forces: Approximately 3 million citizens are enlisted, we use advanced weapon technology known as the Mobile Suit. The current space, air, and naval mass-produced models are is the MSZ-006 Z[eta] Plus (http://www.knk1028.com/web/top/image/011.jpg) ([I]Z+) mobile suit series, designed to eventually and completely phase out the aging M1 Astray, M1a Astray, and Astray Murasame series.
The Z+ line excels over the Astray series because of its VMSaWRS (Variable Mobile Suit and WaveRider (starfighter) System) technology. It has the versatility of an MS and its weapons, but the agility of a starfighter in WaveRider mode. The Z+ are also powered by ultracompact fusion reactors, giving them an extended operating time over the Astrays.

Education system: The public school system is coordinated at the local and state level, with a little involvement by the Feds. Super-power also prides itself on its broad opportunity for parents to choose between public, private, and paraochial schools.

History
In the year Universal Century 0079, the citizens of Superpower07 became unhappy with their government, which was growing bigger and bigger by the year. And compounding this situation was the United Nations, which was forcing its corrupt socialist agenda on the country, and was depriving the nation of its soveriegnty.
Refusing to stay idle and watch, the citizens demanded that Superpower07 leave the UN and undo the socialism that was forced onto the country. However the government refused to comply. As a result, the Western half of Superpower07 seceeded to form Super-power.
Unfortunately, Superpower07 still maintained strict control over the military. But the defecting scientists brought with them the plans for victory with the mobile suit.
With the M1 Astray's mass production, the Super-power Revolutionary War began. Even with this new technology, Super-power was still far outnumbered. As a result, the League Militaire, the resistance force, adopted a hit-and-run strategy and pushing to maintain control of high ground.
With these tactics, Super-power won its war for independance and became a recognized, soveriegn libertarian nation. In its founding, the lawmakers agreed not to make the same grevious mistake of joining the UN and compromising soveriegnty.
