OOC: This is a secret project the RALM is planning, it concerns their plot to make a real "magical girl." There will be evil ex-Nazi scientists....and swearing, and lots of psyker fights.

Doctor Harold von Metternich sighed, staring into an in vitro fertilization chamber.

This is the fifteenth subject.........this is getting ridiculous.

He remembered when Shogun Ayasugi tasked him with a unique mission. She, like many anime fans, was familar with the concept of the "magical girl." a girl that had special powers, could fly, move faster than a speeding bullet, kick butt, and look good at the same time. At the time, he was a respected Doctor of Medicine at the University of California at Los Angeles, an old hand at medicine, and a part-time philosopher, and a kindly old man who could be trusted. You wouldn't think he was an ex-Nazi, a concentration camp doctor, a man who committed gruesome experiments on other humans. Somehow, he escaped Nuremburg, and fled first to Canada, then to America.

Recently, he had been kicked out of UCLA for trying to clone a human being. He also risked getting thrown in the slammer by the US Government, over that and his past. He fled, and when Kimiko Ayasugi needed a brilliant mind who would comply with orders and do a job well, and when he needed a stable job, he accepted, dissapearing into the RALM's underground complex and being provided with materials and test subjects to carry out this most unusual plan. He didn't use prisoners, but he did use slaves and those the Tokko dubbed "shisouhan" or thought criminals.

Now, Metternich was in a rut. He had made progress, fifteen women had been given powers, mainly telekenesis (one could set things on fire), thanks to his home-grown drugs and the use of intense mental study. He found Zen and Yoga helped increase the effects of the drugs he made, collectively dubbed "Divine Essence," and sped up the process of psychic development.

Stil, it was not enough for Metternich. He wanted to ensure powers from birth. Powers that would develop overtime, and did not require intense study to unlock. But, like all quick and easy things, it was hard to master and it proved dirty. In mothers, the experiment produced miscarraiges and one success. In the In Vitro tests, nothing worked. Fifteen went and went, but nothing worked.

And now, he sat. He was frustrated.

Was it because he was playing God? He didn't know or care about that....he just wanted results. So far, they were unbecoming.

He called to one of the Psychic girls, a girl named "Maria."

"Maria! Bring me another coffee!"

Maria nodded, using her mind to lift the coffee, and bring it to Metternich. He said, "Thanks."

It was going to be a long night. He prepared another batch of egg cells and sperm, and began the process again.

This time, he didn't know it, but the process would give birth to a monster.....it would succeed, alright, but it would make a monster.

Several Days Later

The eggs were multiplying, and things were going on schedule.

Metternich rejoiced. Finally, soemthing I can be proud of.

He had put in a special hormone to speed up the process. It had been tried in trial and error, it was partly responsible for the previous failures. Still, he had went on, and now, he had a stable compound that would reduce the nine-month cycle to but several weeks.

He noted its progress. In several weeks, it would become fully grown, an infant.

Then, afterwards he would reduce the doses, but generally, he would raise the child and instruct her on how to use psychic powers, adding the "Divine Essence" Super-Soldier Medicine into her food, slowly, but surely, and riasing her on Zen meditation, to help get things going.

It was wrong, granted, but then, Metternich was just obeying instructions. He may have felt bad, but he also felt a certain pride. Having cloned a human being and used it for a higher goal was somehow fulfilling.

At least now, he could relax. He left the specimen in Maria's hands, and went to bed.

It had become so paper-less in recent times he had moved to repopulate it with other things, flags, office toys, novelty items, all in all it had the effect of making the desk look like a market stand.

Several Days later

The embryo had become a full-fledged infant, the hormone, "Lebensborn," had been successful.

Maria presented Metternich with a baby. "Congratulations, its a girl."

Metternich smiled to her and said, "Welcome to the world, my daughter. You will be named Katyusha.....and you will become a harbinger of great things to come."

He turned to Maria and said, "Maria, put her in the crib. You remember our agreement, right?"

She nodded and said, "Yes, Herr Metternich. I'll take care of the child along with you, we will raise her like she was a normal child, just with a few...modifications, to accommodate the Shogun. Homeschooling, for instance, to help accommodate her faster growth...."

Metternich smiled. "Good."

He then realized, and thought: F**k. I'm going to be a father. This will be hard. Good thing I had a kid before, wait, he was a boy.....yeah, this will be hard.

A Few Weeks Later- March 4, 2005, 7:00 AM

Katyusha began crying, again.

Metternich got up and said, "Mein Gott! I will feed the little tyke, again."

He got hte bottle, filled it with the special formula (doped with the growth chemical and a little of the super soldier drug), and let the baby suck on it.

This wasn't the first time he had odne this. Since the baby was "born" he had to change her diapers, feed her, play with her, and do all sorts of things, with Maria's help. He was having fun, but it was also very tiring.........who knew that raising a super-soldier was so hard!

Stil, things were on track. She was growing now, she had said her first words ("Ron Burgundy") and was learning to walk. She picked up things fast. She was a very happy, but also slightly distanced child who liked to play by herself. And, she was an anime fan, she laughed and cheered when episodes of "Evangelion" and "Azumanga Daioh" were shown.

And, with more momentous consequences, she had begun lifitng coins with her mind.

Things were on track.....

The attack had been swift, but Katyusha and the others survived. The forces of MassPwnage had sent steath bombers......without warnring, Newport City was crippled, and at least 75,000+ were killed....

Fortuantely, the RALM had a Beta Site, so Metternich could continue his work. He did not know that an Pwnageite spy implant fell onto her.....but for now, things would be nice.

She was still growing, now, she was, at least to normal eyes, a normal four year old.....Metternich's growth chemicals and super-soldier chemicals were working, she was increasingly able to lift things with her mind, and she could start small fires.

In the People's Republic

"Hmm... I have an idea."

Katyusha was soon go9ing to school like the others....like the other RALM kids, she had to learn how to strip an M16 and put it back together, and she learned to pledge allegiance to her masters. In time, she learned to love the Shogun, like all of the others.

Meanwhile, at home, Katyusha was given moe "Divine Essence" and "Lebensborn" medicines, and she was put under the guidance of a Zen master, Master Roshi. Her mental and physical abilities were growing fast, as a result.

Many of the kids called her names, often regretting it when their hair or toys were set on fire or smashed, often resulting in reports filed by teachers or adminsitrators. Katyusha was growing up, but she had begun to display an almost hairtrigger temper....not the gentle ideal "magical girl" the Shogun and the Marquis von Esling had in mind.

Worse yet, she began to hear voices. She yelled to Metternich, and began to act crazy.

Metterncih grew worried.....she was becoming a monster.

In the People's Republic:

"Aw fuck yea, it's working."

"Nice man, when do you think she'll blow?"

"No idea. Let's wait until adolescence, the hormones will help."

"Hmm.... you're right."

Several More Weeks Later- June 2005

Metternich was under scrutiny. Never since the end of the Great World War II that he was so hated and hunted....the Shogun was asking questions, the Marquis von Esling out for his head, though he wasn't doing it openly.

It was all supposedly his fault. Katyusha, now about 12-14 years old, in normal terms of growth, thanks to the "Lebensborn" hormone, was entering adolescence. She was getting more powerful, more volatile.

One moment, she could be as gentle as a lamb-she loved making s of jet planes, especially MiG-41's-another, as violent as mad dog. She had now powers only seen in movies, like the good "Matrix" films. She could move fast, jump higher, turn invisible, set things on fire, and had begun to even try to slow down time around her.

Yet Katyusha was becoming dangerous. The Doctor's medicines were blamed, nobody knew of the implant driving her mad. She still loved anime, and her Zen training helped slow down the fits of rage.

Still, it wasn't enough, and Katyusha, of all people, knew this.

Every night, in her dreams, she dreamed she had an M14, or a Katana. Lost in a jungle somewhere, she was hunting an elusive enemy. The environment in her dream was non-Euclidean, it seemd to change shape at will, even change type, going to an arid desert, a ruined city, to the streets of Hiroshima after the bomb fell. The enemy wasn't human, it was a feral lizardman, who always seemed to outpace her, taunting her, telling her to kill.

And if not that dream, then she dreamed of a strange person, the person always changed, but it seemed to be a deep indicator of her destiny.....for the person would split in two, one devil advisor saying the same mantra as the lizard, the other, an angel, who seemed to represent the better half of herself and her powers......maybe taking a cue from Lincoln's words of "the angels of our better nature," but still, every night, the dreams grew more ominous, more powerful, more lucid.

Was it the Devil, or was it something else? Was it a sign of a battle to come, or her own perosnal fight agaisnt the dark within?

All of the psychs didn't know. As far as they were concerned, she was mad. They demanded "Lock her up."

The only thing keeping her out of the padded cell was the regimen of Prozac she was kept on, that seemed to stabilize things......a little.

In Katyusha's head:

Katyusha, in her sleep, begsan hearing this.....she was having the dream, she was dressed up like a US Marine in Vietnam again, and she had that M14.

She saw the lizard taunt her, over and over. She began aiming for the lizard, and began to pull the trigger. But it dissapeared before her shots could hit.

She still heard the voice.

Grwoing fearful, she woke up. The voice was still there. She took her medicine. The voice was still there.

Finaly, she then began to meditate......the voice grew fainter, but it was still pounding away......

She looked into the mirror. She was 12, 13, hell, even 14 now. Why was she different? She didn't even resemble her dad........maybe she was adopted.

She grew cold. She then began meditating again, and the voices seemed to retreat....for now.

She got up and began practicing her kendo moves agaisnt a dummy.

Several Days later

Katyusha was sleeping.....and this time, she had a diffeent dream.

She dreamed that the lizard was there, intimidating her, but still, there was an angel coming there, who smited the lizard and began speaking to her.......

Almost from the beginning, a seperate group of more moral minded, though not stoicly so, saw that the emerge of this 'magical girl', was something that could help bering a sense of.. in the First Lady Excellency's own words.. "A sense of mystical honor, one that mortality can call a magic all their own.

..one part of the puzzle lies with this young lady. I sense promise from her..."

That was why a special being was created, as powerful as the original Ifurita template that grew the current Angel God Tourman..

..however, this one was programmed with another directive. One from an unexpected source.

The being wasn't unaware of the dreams young Katyusha was having.

And so, a shadow was hiding behind a grove of trees, holding her ivory, angel feather monicer etched Key Staff; mentaly keeping tabs. She however decided the time for a first contact was at hand.

"Evil shall not have her, so say I..."

She would wait for the right moment. Knocking on the door seemed... simplistic.

She didn't move, but only considered her words.

She was 6'2", lithe yet athletic, 'very' long 'copper' hair (gotta love that anime style...), and dressed in a battle-jumpsuit of blue and white, trimmed in silver. The uniform suit modeled after a recent upgrade off of a 'source' of an angelic style.

The piercing steel-blue eyes however is the main 'draw'. (Not mentioning the 'haloic' glow within them..)

Kat put down the M-14, realizing she had just sleepwalked.

"So, how did you get into Beta Site? The Shogun has put us under high alert....."

"Hillbilly?? That bitch!"

"Double the volume."

"Hillbilly?? That bitch!"

Katyusha said to the woman: "Did you hear that?"

Just before the Angel God would answer, her senses picked up the increased 'feed' that had been a tinge in her own mind.

"Answers in a second, if you'll please..."

..with that, she twirls her Staff, with a sudden lance of blue light in her eyes, a run of techno-leyline patterns running across them.

Wordlessly, she uses her Staff as a 'signal locator', to find the frequency being used.

It was hard to find considering it was being blared out like that. "The things people produce these days."

With that, a heavy flare of blue light shimmers from her Staff Crystal Globes, and cause a jamming field across a 5 kilometer area.

"And so..." She finishes as she looks back at Katyusha.

"...to be direct, I have been sent to protect you from an emmissary intrested in your development.

..I am the Angel God Ifurita-Senlune, from where I will abstain at this time. But do note my presence is not an ill.

And you are not alone, nor your creator. We have a 'want' of your services, and his devices for a more noble purpose.

If you wish, you may take me to see him, and have what done in consequence. But know this...

..my life is forfeit without yours living. That is my Code from this moment forth."

She then takes a step back to be non-threatening.

The People's Republic:

"Loud and clear bitch."

"Let's play some Death Metal too. How about the new band Crucifixtion Spikez?"

"Cool."

"Let's make it from a 17,000 Watt system with a monster subwoofer."

"Fuck, they found us, we're being blocked."

"Well, we know where beta site is, should we hit it with a nuke or something?"

"Dunno, let's see what happens later though."

And Ifurita-Selune took a look back Dr. Metternich with bemusement, and a slight giggle. "'Devil' is inaccurate a word to use milord."

People's Republic:

"I have solutions."

"You do?"

"Yea. I do. We use a vacillating frequency. It changes rapidly. The chances are one in 870 trillion the creepy lady will nail us on ALL the frequencies at once."

"Damn man, excellent. Get multiple wave satellites with Faraday/anti-wave cage penetrating properties up too. Remember, it's critical that Katyusha never be used against us. But it's even more critical she be used against the RALM."

"Alright then."

And Ifurita-Selune took a look back Dr. Metternich with bemusement, and a slight giggle. "'Devil' is inaccurate a word to use milord."

Metternich said, "Hmm....I am still curious to know how you got past the Tokko. You seem freindly....do you want a drink?"

Ifurita-Selune smiles. "I accept..

..one second..." ...Ifurita detaches part of her Staff, a small 'staffling' that breas apart into three parts..

"..do be a dear and watch for 'any' changes for me out here." ..she says to her 'assistant', that then float off and cloak themselves in the air.

Selune then looks back and.. "Do you have cherry-flavored Sake`?"

Ifurita-Selune smiles. "I accept..

..one second..." ...Ifurita detaches part of her Staff, a small 'staffling' that breas apart into three parts..

"..do be a dear and watch for 'any' changes for me out here." ..she says to her 'assistant', that then float off and cloak themselves in the air.

Selune then looks back and.. "Do you have cherry-flavored Sake`?"

Metternich went, "Well, Madame, I have plenty of sake, they drink it and make their own vintage here."

He puilled out a bottle of sake and some saucers. "it is not cherry flavored, but it will do....."

Metternich said, "As I have said before, the Tokko are notoriously paranoid, how did you get through them?"

Metternich smiled: "To provide the Shogun with a weapon, officially...and to satisfy her nasty whims, unofficially, she always wanted a weapon like this, she is fascinated with psychics, or 'psykers' as she calls them, and the fact they could be used for war. She isn't even grateful, she curses at me, recently, Kat has been having nightmares and she complains of voices...."

Selune looks at Katyusha neutrally, then took another drink.

"What if I could offer another alternative.

..and coming from another such 'weapon', it's not farfetched."

Metternich said, "What would this be, Frau Selune?"

Selune puts it simply...

"Freedom.

That's what my creators instilled in me when I was created in my sibiko. It wasn't simply that I was grown to be a weapon.

..rather a shield, as a special person.

We all were, my fellow sisters, brothers and I. We were made to help those like us realize a reality where they 'weren't' a tool."

Selune smirks. "Course I'm not dumb, nor are my creators. They knew we were different, as we did. But how we were treated was the difference.

We 'weren't' treated different.

We could walk among naturals. Talk freely among them, even say our own discord without fear.

We fell under the same laws, same ideas, same morality as the rest of the citizens we were made to help guard. The only difference in 'that' is our power.

It's something His Majesty knew would be needed to continue the ideal of our realm. That no one of any background should be persecuted, son in as long as honor and humanity was in their hearts first.

It's with that, that my creators came to you. They also see your daughter here as a symbol, as much as a human in her own right.

I have been sent to help guard that, at the cost of my life. Because 'I' believe you both have the right to what I have."

The Shogun was happy as a kid in a candy store. This new embryo was a powerful being indeed, and now, he would be put to good use.

Granted, there would be only one, but still, she had a plan. Dr. Metternich had left his research in his lab.....he did put it away, but it was still there.

Now, a new scientist came onto the scene. It was one of the subjects of Dr. Metternich, a Dr. Gerald Antonescu. Formerly a shisouhan, a thought criminal, he too was rejected from a major university, in this case, NYU, for trying to make a human being. He came to the RALM, was dubbed a thought criminal for questioning the Clow, and was given to Metternich, whose security aide, Shuichi, then brainwashed, getting him to become part of the program.

Now, the Shogun had a more compliant scientist. Metternich, especially, had treated him like a son, and Gerald was willing to redouble his "father's" work, such was the bizarre loyalty that had been instilled in him by the brainwahsing and the experimental drugs, he was fed using an early form of "Divine Essence," heavily mixed with a cocktail of mind control drugs.

Gerald went up to he Shogun and said, "Good day, milady. I am ready."

The Shogun pointed to the embryo. "See that little bundle of cells? It is a psychic wunderkind. Your job is to raise him and make him a powerful being. I want a weapon that will make Dr. Teller dump a load of Chile Cheese in his pants."

Gerald smiled. "Yes, milady."

He then went off, working, continuing Metternich's experiments, not for good, but for evil.

All border passes are known, there are drone guns on the beaches and mountains, police are allowed to (and frequently) spotcheck your DNA, surveillance cameras (located everywhere) have multiple and simultaneously acting view modes, sentries, both robotic and non-robotic are on full alert, the central computer core is heavily guarded, any unauthorized attempt at infiltration will make it explode. The sentry (human) in the halls, walking along, not quite paying attention, literally tripped over the back of cloaked figure.

Ok... this was going to get strange...

The guard scrambled for his pistol.

The next thing the guard hears is a hollow sound..

..only in the guard's mind. "{{{~ I bring a parley to their desire for greed.

The 'shadow' then rises to tower over the guard, some ten feet high.

"{{{~ Bring them...... ~}}}" ...ends the hypnotic voice.

1 second later.

The sounds of 300 guns cocking simultaneously echoed down the hallway. If the shadow even twitched, he/she/it would be riddled full of bullets, slugs, and burned repeatedly with plasma beams, lasers and a few bolts of anti-matter.

"What do you want?"

A tall lizardman stepped up to the front of the crowd with guns.

The shadowy being takes GREAT offense to being called an angel!

A warped, calwed hand, seemingly dripping from it's cloak erupts out, like a fist being clenched. A pair of 'legs' also betray themselves, looking like they belong to a seperate animal 'each'. The added effect of wreathed whisps of black 'smoke'... or 'steam' if prefered is generated by the hate burning within.

"{{{~ I stand INSULTED to be in the same breath as that whch I offer aid to eradicate! ~}}}"

The being then turns around, no more than a dark cloak again.

"{{{~ As for your goals... ~}}}" ..it extends a 'different', much more humanoid hand, the 'same' side the last 'appendage' appeared. It holds a single data rod...

It drops the rod onto a nearby surface, and then suddenly slumps flat onto the ground.

..it seems to suddenly die, just like that.........

"What the fuck? Take the thing, study it under secure guard, preferrably in a secure lab in some allied nation's territory just in case whoever the fuck that was planted a nuke or a monitoring device in it."

Meanwhile, Katyusha and Metternich were surprised.....they were in a new area, it was darkly lit, they didn't know quite where they were.

Still, Katyusha readied her pyrokenesis ability, and her hand started glowing red. Things might grow dangerous soon.....

Katyusha soon sensed something ominous.....she knew something wasn't quite right, and the fact her instinct, now a highly developed "spider-sense" of sorts, was rining alarm bells in her head was not helping.

Still, her dad and her persevered, and followed the others. Metternich as mostly unarmed, save for a PPK he had on him.

Ifurita-Dauwna is hopping back (only 200 meters a skip..) back to the group, when she also feels 'it'..

She lands in the middle of a dark, broken forested area atop a hill.

That feeling draws her closer to the sensation.

As she passes a tree stump, a massive dark form suddenly sipes at her! "WHOA!"

A second later, the group sees the bright flash of something from the far forest!

"Dauwna's in trouble!" ..Falcor yells!

Selune however SHOOTS in front of Katyusha! She has her Staff glowing bright and her senses cutting edge sharp. "Careful my Lady! Whatever it..."

Selune is suddenly cut short, as a form suddenly skid-slams near them both! "Dauwna!"

Selune still holds her ground, as Ifurt-Falcor stays back to guard Metternich. Dauwna though flips to a guard position in midair, her Staff aimed in the direction she 'came' from.

"We've been found mistress..."

Selune looks from her bruised companion, to the sound of a 'tremble' closing towards them.

The air turns deadly tense, as the darkness seems to have a portion of it, come alive on it's own...........

Selune sees this and tries to steel herself. Still, the growing detail of an entity apparently 'shadowing' near 9 feet, a hulking fear closing, makes wills wilt a good bit.........

Katyusha saw the thing, it was brilliant, but still, it had an evil aura to it. Takign advantage of her powers, she then summoned a fireball. Holding it in her hand, she yelled to the "thing":

"I am Katyusha Metternich, Daughter of Dr. Harold Metternich and one with Great Powers, hailing from Beta Site, I ask you, what is your name!"

OOC: A bit flashy, but I just finished a History Channel special about samurai....

Selune sees and.. "Seconded.. and what....... are you?"

Somehow and not with logic attached, the being before them is a black on black effidece.

It's like a cross between a warped humanoid, crossed with the more villianous details of a crab and scorpion. Four arms, one almost comically oversized, if not for the massive, serrated claw, with the other three 'topped' with large tri-clawed 'hands'. It's legs are thick and viciously spiked, six in all, and just as unfriendly.

It's abdomen is a layered series of black plates, all running to a somewhat unremarkable, barbed tail. Course who knows what the tail does...

But the most unnerving sight of the 'being', is the head, or more 'lack' of one. All there is, is a number of glowing red eyes, but not set like a normal set of eyes 'should' be set. They seem to float about in the black whisps that billow from the opening where the neck should be... and where is 'that' by the way?! =oO=

All this seems to describe, is one warped being.

But it's voice is guttural and more than lethal in inflection.

Selune barely grabs and throws them both away from the creature's first strike, as it CLEFTS a gash into the ground where they had been!!

Selune just replies.. "Good enough for me...

...FRY THE THING!!!"

Falcor and Dauwna suddenly leap into the air. This draws the Thing's attention for a moment, but ignores it and instead LAUNCHES at Katyusha a split second later!!!

She then got up, and primed another fireball. She stared at the creature and said, "Who'd you pay to make that zinger up, some Hollywood hack?"

The fire blast hits home hard, making the beast immolate in the large blast that shakes the ground near everyone!

The three Angel Gods follow this up quickly with short-charged shots from their Staffs.

The shots rock the ground even further, and rocks and dirt fly all about.

"That got em!" Falcor shouts.

Selune flies up and tries to get a visual from on high. All she sees is a flame enduced crater. "Looks like........... huh?"

In several directions, a 'shadow' seems to seep from the smoke made by the fires. They seem to move with a purpose.

Selune swoops down and nabs Katyusha. "Grab the Doctor quick!"

Falcor does the same with Metternich, as Dawuna follows behind. Selune just says. "Let's not wait and see what happens next."

They couldn't quite believe it, but they had to. Anyway, she was only part angel, and besides, she was right in front of them!

Kat simply said, "Well, that would explain the flying. And the ethereal look. Not bad."

At this awkward moment, in mid air, the three Angel Gods... blushed..

..Selune though decided to add more. "Since we're deep into this anyway. And my creator Lady Washu would tell the same anyway.

..we were created as an option to our Lord Excellency and his council, to aid the military arm of our Tourman. However we were more than just simple infantry and my human creators knew thiis.

..fifteen years ago, my masters found a Gate, paired with coordinates and script from the Lords that left a great gift to our masters in the Beginning. Their own world.

The gate and the script gained my masters the ability to communicate with a version of the Heavens themselves. Against all logic, this also allow my masters to communicate with these beings, only allowed due to the nature of my masters themselves. That part I cannot tell you as yet.

..however this contact allowed my masters to make a strong bond and a trade. My heavenly creators gained an alliance, and my masters gained the ability to....."

Their blasts hit home in several places, and the not fully formed creature simply crashed to the ground again.

Selune looks down. "Second time and it...

..uhoh.."

Rather than reform, the 'creature' suddenly strikes back up at them in a black cloud!

Selune.. "Oh heavens no you DON'T!!!"

Kat saw the event, and she witnessed the amazing events that surrounded her.......watching with awe and wonder, she saw the smoke seemingly wince, if one could use the word on such a thing, and slow up.

At that, the Angel Gods and their carried souls shoot back off to the northwest.

They had reason to hurry.

Falcor senses and... "Damn demon won't give up will it."

Selune just quips back, looking at Katyusha. "Neither will we."

Falcor asks Metternich on his back. "How you doing back there?"

Then, suddenly, a voice sounded in Katusha's head, "Help me..." It was a female voice. It was distant and weak, it continued, "P-please dont let them continue to do this to me... plea-" Then it was cut off.

Selune though wasn't fooled. "That'll slow him for a bit.

Kat turned to Selune and said, "Did you hear something?"

Selune looks down with a cocked eye. "Hear what my Lady?"

Meanwhile, they decided to keep heading northwest, where after a while they seemed to have broken off pursuit of the strange being.

Dauwna flew close to Selune and Katyusha. "No sign of our friend."

Selune just answers back. "Keep your eyes peeled. I don't believe this is over yet."

Falcor with Metternich atop him, suddenly pulls near. "Just heard the homing beacon."

Selune and Dauwna a moment later hear it to. "Got it." Both say..

Selune looks down with a cocked eye. "Hear what my Lady?"
