"Congratulations! And why the hell is a hospital named after a computer game character? Last I checked, the only Gordon Freeman I know wears an orange hazard suit and exists only on my PC."-The Great Leader Li.

"Well, Gordon Freeman had a crowbar and freed us from the clutches of the evil Lord Nihilanth, back in 1785. He did have a penchant for orange clothing, though, and he worked around dangerous chemicals."

Rep. of Upper Xen

OOC: In our history, Gordon Freeman, in this case, an alternate universe version that lived in Revolutionary times, helped to lead the final battle against Nihilanth in the late 1700's.

Yes, I am a Half-Life fan, I love the Gravity Gun.

"And I thought OUR national hero was strange."-The Great Leader Li.

For Reference: Wai Tang Fung, the founder of the Skorpion Raider corps in 181 B.C, is the national hero. His descendants still serve as Raider commanders.
