Foxtrot news

Today, in a press conference, President Kowalski announced the development of the "Dial-A-Smite" program by the Marine Corps and CMDC. This service offers affordable and accurate orbital bombardment for any country that is willing to sign up and sign a waver. No word yet if this will be used by Citizens of Crazed Marines to help settle traffic disputes.

"Well, that's just...crazed!" thought President Steele as he read the morning headlines. He quickly put in a call to his Chief of Defense to make sure their orbital shield was up to date, and filed away the information for a later date. After all, one never knew when this type of service would be needed.

Thanks...this is meant as a semi-serious comedy interlude, and a nation has been created for this purpose. The cost per smite is 350 million USD unless it is against a country we hate, then it's free. You also have to sign a waiver saying that you're responsible for the smiting and we're absolved of any guilt. Kinda like a merc corps.

President Carpenter looked over the transcripts recieved from Crazed Marines in the underground bunker below Bailey. "Well," he said, "this is certainly a possible consideration against Dimmimar's forces, and possibly even his country should we launch a counter invasion. Jake!"
"Yes sir?" Muncy said, walking over.
"Inform President Kowalski that we will be considering their services pending the development of this situation. Make certain it is done through secure methods; we cannot allow Dimmimar to intercept this communication."
"Aye, sir," Muncy replied, and walked away.

OOC: CM, you realise you will just get ignore cannoned a lot of the time for orbitally bombarding people. I assume you mean via satellite?

But an original idea never the less, well done.

all the waiver means is that Crazed Marines or Dial-a-smite is not responsible for what happens due to the orbital bombardment. I've RPed the satellites a few times and they haven't gotten ignored to date. All they are is simple railguns shooting a tungsten rod at mach 5 plus. The loss rate of each strikes is estimated at 40%.

Neo seph. Sorry, but I refuse to RP on you for your lack of spelling, grammar, and RP skills.

WHAT! You cant do that. The waver says the results of the bombing. Nowhere does it say that you can just target your enemies. I'll be firing ignore cannons then.

Perfect example of what someone that is going to be bombarded will do.

Ah...but we can. We are the ones bombarding, so we can pick the target. We will not target our allies. As for us bombarding you, that was a dry joke.
