OOC This is my rebellion against Bob-Bob in sydney. This will be open for all, so join in.

IC In the Sydney Opera House the United Public Schools Choir where singing joy to the world. The Place was packed with hundreds of proud pearents, and those who had come to watch the show. Those where not the only people here however, in the very back right hand coner, in a booth that had the option to become sound proof, six men sat. They where arguming amongst each other, taking a very delicate plan.

"That phone poll was a brillient Idea," Said a small wealiy man. "We now know Sydney is tired of the Brittish empire controling us from the other side of the world. We managed to get the Sydney Police and Armed forces to come to our side." He sighed. "But the Brittish Garrason was not corruptable. We have the support of the people, and support of the Armed forces under the Local governments control." He looked at the one in a green suit.

"Very well, we shall begin our demonstrations." He smiled. "THe Government will have to let us go, I am sure they would." He kept in his head, if they where lucky

His Majesty floundered at the table. His stomach was now so large that it got in the way, his doctor had advised that he should eat less, taking this as a grievous insult, His Majesty promptly informed his doctor that if he were to die of any obese related illness, then he too would die in his sons personal torture chambers. Unsurprisingly, his doctor immediately offered other courses of action to reduce His Majesties weight. He had a scheduled operation in three days, a most interesting procedure where all the fat in his body would be drained. Of course this would leave slightly large amounts of excess skin, however that could be resolved in another operation.

Lifting a Stake Pie from a nearby tray, George drooled from the mouth. Slicing through the delicate pastry, his nostrils were overcome with the scent of cooked beef and delicious gravy. His fork gathered the sensuous concoction tantalising his taste buds, then finally as he chewed upon the delicious morsel as a teaser, a knock arrived at the door and in entered Mavil.

“Good Afternoon Majesty, I see you are enjoying lunch.”

“I was enjoying it, until you came in and bothered me.” Pushing the plate to one side, George no longer felt in the mood for his pie. The atmosphere and therefore the food had just turned sour. “Well Mavil, what news do you have for me today?”

“Bad news I’m afraid Majesty, it appears that your of our cities is attempting revolution.”

“Really, what foolish territory would dare such a thing, surely they know of the Canadian suppressions, I made sure they were broadcasted throughout the entire Empire.”

“I’m afraid it’s Sydney, you Eminence. One of our more important Pacific holdings.”

“How far has this insurrection spread?”

“So far Majesty, most of the populous is behind the rebellion, along with the Sydney national guard, though our garrison seems undeterred. They are currently residing in Fort Weverly, which is on the coast. It will be able to hold from most attacks, and it can be re-supplied from sea.”

George lifted his cat from the floor, and placed her onto the table. “How far has this rebellion spread?” His cat now feasting upon the pie, sported a brown gravy encrusted coat, frowning at the look of his current pet, George would see that she was cleaned.

“The Rebellion, Your Eminence, has only spread to Sydney and the immediate surroundings. Australia as a whole remains loyal, while in Perth there is a large opposition and outrage movement rallying to our banner.”

Considering the implications for a moment his Majesty only had one real option open. “Send in the Pacific fleet and army. Crush them all. I will not have rebellion, no matter the price.”

“As you wish Majesty. If there is nothing else, I will be on my way. I have many tasks to do sire.”

“Just one thing before you leave Mavil. Would you be so kind to wash Emma here, she is just covered in gravy, and you know how her coat mats so easily.”

Sidney, Australia

The rebel soldiers marched through the streets. In the background there were explosions that lit the night sky. A man with a grisly beard smoking a cigarrette leaned against the wall watching the soldiers. He walked slowly into a small, decrepit building in the alley. Inside was a sofa, a minifridge and a computer. He looked out the window and then closed the shutters and pulled a blanket out from behind the computer revealing a complex array of computer equipment. He booted up the computer and began typing. He looked at the screen.

Siapian Intelligence Network

he entered his password and put on a headset. A feminine voice informed him that he had a secure connection. He sat, calmly drumming his fingers. "Hare?" A voice asked in an emotionless breath.
"Speaking."
"Situation?"
"I'm sending you my pics. Almost everyone is on board with the rebellion, except the British Garrison." He said typing furiously on the computer.
"I got news." The voice on the other end of the line said. The computer hummed and photos appeared. The first two were satelite, showing a naval fleet being prepared, the others were taken via operative. They showed large amounts of troops boarsing ships and and another of military vehicles being equipped. "Not good." Hare said.
"Yes." The voice said on the other line. "Its going to get messy there. You have to get out of here. Torch the safehouse, and go to the one in Perth. More of our operatives are there. Be warned, its a hotbed down there too."
"Sir...Should we prepare for procedure L?"
"Negative. They have a much larger military. They could wipe the floor with us. It is too costly for anyone to know we are involved. Move out soldier!" There was static as the line was disconnected. The Hare dug through a drawer on the desk and pulled out money, identification papers naming him as Sean McCullough and a special issue Siapian .50 caliber semi-automatic pistol. He then pulled out a small magnet and held it over the computers, erasing their hard drive and then he pulled out his lighter and lit the blanket and the couch. He ran out into a small garage and hopped into a small suv and drove out onto the road. hopefully I can get out of the city without attracting too much attention he thought nervously.

The Shadows would like to offer His Majesty; two Legions and one Air Legion for use in putting down the rebels in Sydney. These fools must not be allowed to usurp such a generous and well loved monarch.

We only ask that we be able to keep any rebels we capture as slaves during the campaign.

Colonial Command based on the Netherlands Antilles wishes to offer the services of four brigades of the DAF to his Majesty to crush the rebellion.
These four brigades are veterans of many wars and will bring their own naval and air forces alongside their logistics support.

One word and they will be on their way to Sydney to relieve the garrison alongside the Guild troops. We've had the pleasure of fighting alongside Guild troops before and wish to do so again.

OOC BTW, it will not start off a rebellion, it will start off a demonstraion, then become a rebellion.

IC The next day, hundreds of demonstrators came through the streets to the Town Square. Down the road about seven hundred meaters was Central station, Saint Andrews Cathedral was on their right, and Saint Andrews School on their left. In front of them was the Government House. Above the Students in rooms watched, starting on level six and upwards. There where a number who where sitting in the church, trying to get out of the heat. It had been another 40 degree celcius day, and a the square had the smell of human sweat, as well as deoderant. The people started protesting, but no violence had been done yet.

"Yes, we want to help these obvious rebels. Send in one hundred troops and two fighter squadrons. They will cover the 'demostraitors' until we can get a naval division that far out with additional support."

Everyone agreed with Jewitt's plans.

OOC: A point; you can beat 200,000 troops, you've got a city we need several times your amount via conventional military strategy to fight you (it's reckoned to be at least 6 times your amount to assure victory I believe but 3 times the amount is the absolute minimum :) ).

Also, you've got time to build defences use it don't whine. Also, why not go ask one of the 'revolutionary' powers to get involved like Hogsweat or Hallad I'm sure they'd say yes but you've got Truitt already you're choice.

Also, you never said what sort of forces you had, I assumed Sydney was pretty big so would have a substansial citizens militia, thus I sent two Legions of troops.

What posibilitys can come of this? Trading, allies? The list went on. So, he called on one of his assistance.

McCullough Entered the building. Inside were technicians operating a variety of communications equipment. McCullough was aproached by a female communications officer. "you have a call on the secure line from SIN headquarters." He approached the phone and picked it up. A voice on the other end proceeded swifty. "A special meeting in parliament just convened a few hours ago and they have decided not to recognize this rebellion nor commit any soldiers to the region. However, they gave us a large stipend for the black budget. We made a special deal with Skye tech and Pan-Siapian arms corporation. They have 5,000 Rifles and 700 Stinger anti-aircraft missilie launchers registered as "Dissasembled/Destroyed" which they were so kind as to lend to us. You need to get into contact with the rebels and arrange it so they get these weapons and that these demonstrations become a lot more than that."
"Roger." McCullough said.

The next day, as Dictator Scharfetter looked over some important documents about taxes, the Head Assisstant of Dictator Scharfetter and Commander-And-Chief of the Armed forces of East Lithuania Colin Katilus barged in with an important messege.

"Sir. We have information that another nation is also assisting the rebellion in Australia!"

"Thats good news. Who is the other nation?"

"It's a nation called... Siap, sir.they already have men stationed there. Have any ideas of what to do?"

"Hmmm... what are my options?"

"Well, we could abort mission... or try to relate to both the rebellion and Siap."

"The second one is better. You said they already have some sort of HQ there... am I right?"

"Yes, sir."

"Hmmm... try to contact Siap about possbilities of allowing our men and equitment nearby the HQ near Australia, then me and the leader of Siap can meet once they arrive about plans."

"And perhaps the most esteemed Privy Council has neglected to take into account logistics, financial restraints, and the damned blood that this will cost our nation!"

The twelve robed members shuffled on their behinds as the debate reached its sixth successive hour. Military support for the rebels was an issue that had unexpectedly found it's way to the agenda. Madam Calymath nodded in appreciation before replying in clipped tones, “Thank you, Mr Guildencratz. When we require a fiscal lawyer to decide affairs of state, we will contact you.” Guildencratz’s eyebrows rose an inch or so, before he dropped into a low and gracious bow, and sweeping from the room without a word. The torches were burning low, and in the flickering half light of the dusk, no decision had been made. In low conversations, the council continued to debate, calling opinions and drinking mead from thick glass tankards. The military had said that it could be done, though it would be a considerable strain on resources. The economists had said that there would be surprisingly little drainage upon resources, considering the almost non-existant amount of currency in circulation this was by far the most positive response. The people advisors said that the war would be hugely popular in the industrial area’s where the great unwashed would find themselves with jobs, either pressing cheap sheets of metal into some form of armament, or with a gun in hand, fighting and bleeding on some foreign field.

The debate wore on. As the cock crowed, and the virgin light of the morning streamed into the chamber, Madam Calymath pushed a rebellious hair from out of her eyes and spoke with authority. “The morning has come,” she stated, “And so requires a resolution. All naysayers?” She watched, as slowly and tentatively five hands were raised in opposition. She jotted down a record of the vote, and continued in the same, impartial tone. “All aye’s?” She blinked as five more hands were silently raised, putting the whole thing in deadlock. “Abstentions” she called, and a single hand was thrust into the air. She took in a deep breath, and feeling drunk upon the air she continued blandly, “We therefore have five ayes, five nays, and a single abstention. Therefore, as chairperson, the deciding vote is mine.” All eleven pairs of eyes now focused on her, the whole council waiting with bated breath as her mouth opened, skipped a beat and closed again. Finally she swallowed and dropped the knell in the calm before the storm, “Aye” she said.

The tension broke immediately, for even those who had voted against war could breath in satisfaction that a resolution had been reached. Calymath stood, the weight of statesmanship visible in the cracked lines of age on her face. “The resolution has passed,” she proclaimed, “I will inform Lord Koda that his resolution has passed.” As the council solemnly drained the last of the mead and reclined in quiet discussion, Calymath began the long climb of the flight of steps that brought eventually to a heavy oaken door. She knocked, once, and a low droning voice answered. “Come Calymath.” She entered, and though the room was shrouded in the same half light as the Council Chamber, it held a threatening and fatal quality. There was a single figure, Koda, the Dread Lord of the Mountain Hall, who sat in a great chair with his back facing her. She shivered involuntarily. “The resolution has passed my lord. We are ready to make war.” Koda smiled, though she could not see it. “Good,” he whispered, “Now that buffoon George will be forced to see his over inflated ego when he looks in the mirror. Let it begin.” She nodded, and closed the door silently behind her. Koda traced a finger over a map of Australia, the miniscule beads of sweat that dropped onto the parchment forming the sites of graveyards of those who still lived and held breath.

IC:
King Marcus Anthonius watched his favourite TV-show, Dwarves in extacy, as his international affairs minister barged in and shut the television.
"Jack, do you want your head cut off? This is the second time (I'm warning you not to do that!" he shouted and turned on his black leather chair to face the man.
"No, sir, but this just cannot wait. We have reports of large demonsration in Sydney, Australia"
"I know where Sydney is! You better watch yourself not to speak to me like I was an idiot. So, what does this mean? A rebellion or something?"
"So we predict. It will probably evolve into one shortly, as many nations are offering militarist help to both the rebels and the government"
"Allright... And exactly why do I want to hear about this?"
"We might get a really good ally if we give help the rebellion to win. And It's not that far from here. If we send our fleet now, they would arrive in four hours with full armament"
"Ah... So you are trying to give me a hint to declare war?"
"yes, sir"
"How foolish of you, but now that you mention it, get our 2nd, 10th and 34th fleets ready, fully armed and ready. With them, transport the 23th, 12th, 7th and 9th battallions. Also send the 1st, 10th and 7th mobile battalions.
Get the 7th and 2nd air battallions ready for a bombing run. Now run along before I decide to send you to the frontline to get pictures from the battles"
"Sir, yes, sir!" he shouted and wrote quickly the instructions to a piece of paper and marched away.
Marcus Anthonius IV quickly opened the TV and cursed, smashing his fist onto the table. The show had already ended...

there was a full alert on barracks all around the island-nation of Achleonia as soldiers were prepared to war and being transported to the nearest port by trucks or helicopters. The fleets were filled and armed. They met on their way towards Sydney on full speed, the mechanics and soldiers preparing their equipment for an attack.

Meanwhile, the Federal 77th Tatical T-/E-Boat Division sped underwater from the Truitti Ocean, located inbetween South America and Africa, to Australia. They had aboard the single Tru'gall-class SSLDC 300 men in a towed "dead-ship" that would be the first to help the possable rebellion. Additional support would come via aircraft once a runway or the Rosemary were active/surfaced.

The chanting was growing and growing. For five hours the mob had been outside the government house. Five whole hours of non stop noise. Governor Maybor was at his desk in despair at the current mess. How did it all go wrong? The Empire had always been kind, the Empire had never done any wrong, why were these people attempting revolt? Just ten minutes before he had come off the phone from His Majesties servant Mavil, the second most powerful man in the Empire, his spy networks were rumoured to be everywhere. The best in the world some say… What was most disturbing of all, was that he knew of the rebellion before he himself was aware of it. His orders had been most specific, he was to dispel the crowd by any means necessary, and then lock the capital down until help arrived. Picking up his briefcase the Governor made his way to the roof where a helicopter waited for him. It was time to leave for the fort.

Town Square

Traffic had now ceased to exist, the streets were barren apart from the occasional pedestrian. Hundreds had now gathered in the square, hundreds of Rebels…. After repeated warnings from the Governor to disperse, even a direct order, the crowd continued to refuse civil obedience, so their death warrants had been singed and the garrison released.

“Maaaaaaaaarch” Screamed Sergeant Major Humphrey. “One two, one two, one two, one two. Move it! You are soldiers of His Majesties army, we have a severe riot in Town Square and the governor has requested we deal with it. FIX BAYONETS ! The Bagpipes burst into life as His Majesties Redcoats marched quickly up the streets, Scotland the Brave being the choice of tune, it seemed rather ironic considering the circumstances.

Red coats enveloped every exit and entrance to the square, while tanks lay in wait for any escapee. Slowly the marching began to drown our the crowd as over a thousand Redcoats prepared to do their duty. Lining each street from kerb to kerb the sea of red engulfed the city, while the crowd could only stand back in horror. “HAAAAAAALT!” Screamed the Sergeant Major, his vain on his next pulsing with anger. In front of the lines several machine guns were set up, preparing to enact the sentence.

Commander York lowered himself from his horse, passing through the troops he received a strong salute from the Major. “SAR! We have all Rebels trapped within the square, I am waiting for you to read their sentences to them before we open fire.” York nodded and made his way to the front lines.

“People of Sydney, you have refused a direct order from Governor Maybor, which descended from His Majesty himself. You are all therefore guilty of treason by the second degree. Penalty is Death. You will have no trial.” Commander York made his way into the back ranks, ignoring the screams and anger of the crowd. “Deal with it Humphrey.” As commander York got back onto his horse, he watched as Humphrey took command.

“ATTENTION! LOCK WEAPONS...... TAKE AIM....... FIRE!” The weapons sounded with life. Machine guns devastated the Rebels while infantrymen took their time killing those running away.

**********************************************************

His Majesty was dining alone, it was unusual but Mavil should be arriving any time soon. In front of him lay a large plate of roast beef, Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, and Cauliflower with cheese. Picking up his fork he was about to begin eating when a knock arrived at his door, and in walked Mavil.

“I trust His Majesty is feeling well after his operation? I must say you are looking most healthy Majesty.”

“I have no want for common flattery Mavil, tell me your news while I eat.” George raised his fork and began to tear away at the thick slices of meat.

“Well Majesty, it appears that the rebellion has grown. The slaughtering of the crowd, done very little to secure their temperaments. Governor Maybor, reports that the city is no longer habitable for respectable gentry, and the Garrison is doing all it can to stop civil unrest turning into a small civil war. My agents within the rebellion are also reporting that foreign assistance is now being offered to the rebels. Intelligence indicates that two fleets are converging upon the East coast of Australia. Our Navy will arrive long before anyone else’s. The nations in concern are four in number, though so far only three are offering direct diplomatic and military assistance. Siap, Truitt, and Easth Lithuania are as such no threat. Their combined navies alone fail to match the Philippine fleet. However Momanguise has just declared their intentions to offer full military aide.”

George looked up, almost choking on his meal. “Did they now? I assume we have offers of assistance?”

“Indeed Majesty, the Merchant Guilds and Dumpsterdam are each pledging forces.”

“Very well, accept their generous offer. Foreign lives do not make for bad publicity.” Mavil nodded accordingly. “I also want you to draft an International reply to all nations concerned. I will leave the words up to you, but let them know, let them all know, that they have just declared war upon the Empire. Mavil, you may leave now.”

To all nations concerned. This intended infringement upon British sovereign territory, has been taken as an abrupt declaration of war. Though you have yet to fire a weapon, or kill a man, we are not fools. Nor will we allow you to make the first kill. Your attempt to free a people will lead to your own inslavement and destruction. The Empire has been, and will always be. The sun shall never set upon the British Empire! Your time is up, go now and pray.”

His Majesty is flattered by the concern shown by The Merchant Guilds and Dumpsterdam, and as such we cannot turn down such a thought. His Majesty welcomes all aide considered to help rid us all of, what can only be described as a viral outbreak.

The factory was crowded as workers serviced the weapons that would soon be shipped out. The foreman was in his office talking on the phone. "Yes, I heard the Secretary of State's speech. OOC: I only sent 100,000 and the minimum deployment I looked at it usually 50k personnel (due to that being the usual unit size unit I use. Yeah their split into regiments but I don't like splitting up my legions). Also remeber this is not RL and the countries involved are considerably bigger and far more economically powerful than most RL ones bar China.

I don't want to get into an OOC arguement over this, so shall we let bigones be bigones and get on with having a fun RP?

Also, remeber he did not state how many troops or civvies he had, I made an assumption as to size because of this. Note, this was a rebellion in the first post, not a demo. :)

IC:

Large Guild 'Doombringer' Heavy Transport Aircraft skidded down onto the tarmac of the airfields assigned to them by his Majesty. The huge black aircraft with the Wolves head insignia of the Guilds, taxied down to a stop but unfortunately could not use the Hangars provided since they were too small for such large transport aircraft. The first Guild troops soon after began to disembark, these were by enlarge support personnel here to set up Field Operations and Services, although their were a number of forward troops from the Legions, whom had been sent in order to provide escort for them, in case of rebel or rebel sympathising troops or partisans attacking them.

A field hospital was being set up in a former Air Field Personnel barracks, it was also being extended by way of large marques and tents being added to provide extra wards and operating areas.

Guild support personnel had also begun to horde the nessacary supplies for this limited campaign, large fuel tankers were being driven off some of the landed 'Doombringers' and yet others had personnel moving large boxes of ammunition and foodstuffs into makeshift shelters.

The base perimeter had been established by Guild forward personel. Soon more troops and supplies would arrive. Then a few more airfields would be made ready for the 9th Air Legion, which would be arriving when things were ready and the 81st and 82nd Legions, who would provide the ground forces to help His Majesty crush these rebels.

OOC: According to BB, the Airfield is located next to the main Fort/base. So there will be a perimeter of troops, half dug in machine guns and some artillery/support weapons.

Assume there's about 750 Combat Troops on the base perimeter.

The slow strains of an Adagio in A minor filled the chamber, hanging in the air and filling the room with sorrow. Koda manipulated the strings of the violin so that a single melancholy note rang through the entire annex, before dropping the whole piece into a perfectly executed Tierce de Picardy and the attendants sighed in feigned adoration. Koda put his instrument aside, and came to consider the message from George, his own pen balanced on two fingers, dipping it in ink that for the consequences of his actions may as well have been blood.

Dear George,

Of course this is all a terrible shame, however we happen to be committed towards independence for Sydney. Surely you haven't forgotten how close Britain was to subjugation only sixty years ago? Nevertheless, if we must meet on the field of battle, let us hope that we can do so as men, and not monsters.

Koda,
The Dread Lord of the Mountain Hall.

He held his message up to the light, admiring his own beautiful hand. An aide took it, and Koda began pouring over maps of Sydney and Australia proper. He licked his lips in anticipation, now the fools would discover why their coats were red.

Of course it was not just in Eisinore that activity for war was commencing. Sangradia's vast harbour, home of the venerable but respectable home fleets was in an excited hive of activity. Warships, newly clad and unpainted for speed proudly burst challenges of steam to the early morning air. In the any squares and meeting places, soldiers drilled for a final time before chancing a final kiss to their loved ones. Momanguise's west coast teemed with activity as thousands of young men and women volenteered for a war fourght on foriegn fields. The poets and artisans were rounded en masse to deliever powerful propaganda in support of war. The preparations were laid, and the first ships set sail.

A telegram arrived to the Achleonian fleet, arriving to the Australian coast in maybe a few hours:

Admiral commanders, we have been informed of the possible great naval power expecting you at the coast with hostile plans of NOT letting the Achleonian armies to disembark. Be ready for anything.
The king prays for you. Safe journey

~Naval commander Jonathan Antheim

Suddenly, all inner-radios in the ships opened and the admiral commanders of these fleets spoke:
"Today, men, we shall go and fight for freedom. The same freedom that was only a dream for us four generations ago. Today, we shall fight with a good mind"
After the speech, the anthem of Ahleonia started. The melody was very familiar to the one the USSR used, only the words very different.

10 smaller sized Chinook-helicopters flew over the fleets. The leader of this group looked down on the two large air carriers on the middle of the huge fleet. "Head Admiral Garseia, this is Commander Jackson from the Achleonian air force-unit. We are requesting landing permission on Air carrier 'Liberation ocean'. There are four groups of ten arriving soon behind us and the bombers are arriving behind them onto the other carrier"
"This is Head Admiral Garseia, you have premission to land"

The whole assigned air force landed onto the two carriers, ready for a quick take-off. The bombers and helicopters started being filled up as the admirals, army commanders and the air force commander met in the Main heavy cruiser to plan the attack as soon as they arrive and have the green light

King George,
You were right. We did not get the first kill. You did, by killing 200 rebels on the spot. I would count that as the first strike. Now it may be our turn, and may I warn you. Colonial Command and First Councillor Alfarius Damocales have confirmed the deployment of four brigades of the 1st mechanised infantry division to quell rebellions in Sydney, Australia.

As the garrison put down a violent uprising in the main plaza, more and more citizens where reported to have joined the rebellion.

DRN is currently in the progress of shipping and guarding the sixteen LPD's and two transports used to deploy the mechanised forces now aproaching Sydney, no word has yet been recieved from the garrison.

Grand Admiral Matthews LOG Jan 15 2005, 0400.

There has been heavy international interest regarding the revolt in Sydney, His Majesty has tasked me with the chore of mopping up. Three days ago, confirmation arrived of an open declaration of war by several world nations, though some being of little consequence, they have invoked his Majesties entire wrath.

Reports and stories from home detail the scale of His Majesties anger, the Empire is mobilising everything. Fleets are leaving docks, the Shipyards on the Clyde are now recruiting as many peasants as possible, while merchants rake in billions from the treasury. His Majesty has openly declared war upon the rebels and their conspirators, he has brought his jewelled hand down to bare.

We entered Australian waters twenty nine hours ago, the fleet is keeping clear of the dangerous corals, and an attempt is being made to locate enemy forces. Satellites are in orbit, but the heavy cloud cover makes for poor performance.

I am charged with the protection for over one hundred and forty thousand men, a heavy burden, but I and my men are confident. The entire Empire is watching, we must not let them be ashamed.

End Log

The British fleet now made its way down the coast. The vessels painted black were a sign of intimidation, one of fear. Only Admiral Mathews had the luxury of such a symbol, every ship that fell under his command was coloured black, apart from the Red white and blue of the Union flag fluttering in the wind.

The fleet was only a small sample of what was to arrive. Consisting of twelve carriers, thirty battleships and over one hundred frigates the navy was at peak performance. While down below submarines stalked every shadow.

At day break, Sydney would see a black armada approaching the shores.

IC: McCullough lay on a rooftop, chewing tobacco (knowing full well cigarrette smoke would give him away) He pulled out his digital camera. There were various photos of the British Garrison and their troop positions as well as some documents he had swiped regarding the reinforcements. He pulled out his binoculars and watched the patrols. Crap, I'm trapped! he thought. He pulled out a cell phone and attatched a small frequency scrambler. Not as good as a secure line, but it'll have to do. He dialed the number for the SIN (Siapian Intelligence Network) His commander answered. "Speak."
"This is Hare. I'm pinned down. I can't leave this area. They haven't spotted me yet, but I'm not safe. I need help." The commander responded. "This'll break a few diplomatic eggs, but I'll get you out of there soldier!"

The General saluted, and radioed. "He has given the green. All units set?"

MI6 Headquarters London

The small stations had now been spread throughout the world, in anticipation of conflict, MI6 was now pinpointing, hacking and deciphering all transmissions leaving and entering Sydney.

Within the garrison, a large dish received thousands of signals per second, while the details were fed through a direct optic connection to Sydney. The information would then be boosted to London via satellite, within the process it would go through twelve boosting and modulation relays.

Commander Perie was on duty. As usual the machines and electronic equipment gave a comforting sound. Millions of transmissions passed through the machines daily, and it was Perie’s job to determine which transmissions were given to the command chain. His orders were to focus on Australia for now.

M’s Office MI6

The oak walls, and early Georgian furniture dominated the room. In the centre, lay a desk with a tall thin man, briefing agents. “Gentleman, the crisis in Australia is growing, to intolerable situations. We have recently decoded two transmissions sent from and transmitted to Sydney regarding enemy agents. These saboteurs are anticipated to feed the enemy vital information regarding our military offensive and defensive measures, therefore it is obvious that we eliminate them quickly. You will all fly directly to Sydney, and thereafter infiltrate the city and the rebel organisation. It is necessary to prevent them from destabilising our position any further. Sequel orders will be sent on demand. Hurry Gentleman, you leave now.”

Garison

Sergeant Hathorne, was the man in charge of the security team, and counter intelligence division, it was his task to locate enemy agents, and he finally hoped that he might get his first catch. From London, he had received reports of an enemy agent spying upon the garrison. Mapping out all probable locations, he came to several choices. One being an office block over viewing the garrison along with several other more unlikely positions.

Hanger 12A

From the military hanger a new weapon of the Empire was being launched. His Majesties airship squadron. Six hundred meters long the vast stations held a large inventory of missiles, anti missiles, and anti ground weapons. Lifting off into the sky, it was the task of Bomber Commander Ernest Huntly, to find the rebels. First on his list, was the office blocks. Holding an infantry count of one hundred men, he was in a direct position to feed assistance wherever it was needed.

IC: His Majesty accepts all foreign aide, in this unfortunate situation, please send forces o New Zeeland for re-deployment in Australia.

The 117th and 749th had reached were they were heading... Sydney. As the Captain looked down... he saw the target... the Phillipine fleet.

"Alright men you know the orders... now lets get these guys!"

"YES SIR!!"

As the Fighters dove down... the sailors abord the ships looked up.

One of them went to the Captain. "Sir, are those our planes?"

"I think so." Then he looked through his binoculars. He noticed the East Lithuanian flag on the wings. "Wait, thats not ours. Thats not our planes. Thats East Lithuania. Wait... East Lithuania?!?!?! HOLY S***!!!!! MEN, BATTLE STATIONS!!!!"

As soon as the order was given... the 117th Fighter wing made a pass... spraying bullet, missils, and small bombs at anything they aimed at. As the planes flew by... some where shot down. But, afterwards... a few ships nearby suddenly blew. As they looked up, The 749th Bomber made their run... raining bomb after bomb across the entire fleet. As they tried to shoot them down, the fighters again made a run... eliminating any force left. This continued for 2 hours. Run after run of sycronized fly by's with the 117th, to then a raid of bombing by the 749th. After 2 hours, the 117th and 749th flew back to East Lithuania, doing all the damage they could on the worlds greatest navy.

Philippine Fleet

“Admiral, we are receiving reports from the New Zeeland Radar outposts, they are detecting high altitude bombers in bound. Fort Bernley reports that they are ready to scramble fighters, I recommend we scramble immediately.”

Admiral Matthews turned, with a slick smile. “How long until interception?”

“Fort Bernley reports twenty two minutes Admiral.”

Admiral Matthews grunted with a nod. “Very well, scramble all fighters for an intercept. Fort Bernley is not a well known installation. How many fighters do they have?”

“A compliment of fifty Admiral.”

“Excellent, once the enemy forces pass through the radar screen, order Bernley to launch his interceptors five minutes after they pass. Once they engage our fleet here, they will outflank and destroy the enemy fighters. Scramble all aircraft, and give orders to Fort Weverly, to activate all Surface to Air missile batteries. Have that new airship brought into range of the fleet.”

“At once Admiral.”

Fighters scrambled, Sam’s activated in anticipation of the approaching attack. As the enemy fighters approached through clear sky they were beset upon by swarms of British fighters. Those that managed to escape His Majesties judgement, fell down out of the sky towards the fleet. Missiles erupted, cannons flared, and damage was taken. As the battle ensued in a dance of arial acrobatics, the fighter force from New Zealand sped into the fray. Missiles fired with impunity, while the fleet continued to launch fighters.

From Sydney, the Airship Trident was now arriving, this vast Anti-Aircraft installation, was covered in Sam’s and missile tubes, a most deadly weapon for aircraft. Launching her first volley she enacted the reapers touch to many a pilot.

HMS Sheffield suffered a severe impact to his port side, limping and taking on water the ship had to be abandoned, though she was still afloat.

HMS Conquest, suffered heavy shrapnel damage to the bridge, and a missile impact on her forward guns. The Ship is still operational.

McCullough stared at the skies. Hell of a fight. He knew that there was a large concentration of SAMs protecting the city. Maybe my chances will improve if I get out. He searched around the city. Once the patrols were out of sight he climbed onto the fire escape. He gingerly crawled down the steps when he saw small gas pipes come out of the ground into the side of the building. He got an idea and carefully lept across to another building's fire escape. He aimed his pistol at the gas pipes. He fired two shots and soon there was an explosion and a fire. He then lept into an open window as shouts of "My word!" filled the air as soldiers ran to the explosion. He then scrambled through the hallway and to a flight of stairs. He then snuck out a back door and saw another patrol walk past the lley. He quickly hid in a small cardboard box Who thought I'd end up playing Metal Gear for real for a living?

Also East Lith, remeber your a Decemeber 04 nation, you are not going to have the resources and capital to field 200 Stealth Bombers and 300 Stratofortresses reasonably. Especially with all those fighters.

May I also ask out of reference and interest where they are being based? Since according to BB, I am occupying the airfield complex outside Sydney.

Im trying to be accepting at the moment, but can you tone it down a little. :)

IC:

Over the past few days since the start of 'Operation Monarch' by the Guild forces to help his Majesty quell the rebellion and all related foreign aid.

Most of the 81st Legion had arrived now (bar a few members of the catering detachment who were being disciplined by Claw units for drunken behaviour and threatening to poison the entire Legion with rotten bananas), but still only forward and support elements of the 82nd Legion had arrived. Most of the aircraft and support personnel from the 9th Air Legion had arrived.

The once quiet main airfield outside Sydney was now a huge bustle of men, equipment and war machines. Dugouts and defendable supply dumps had been one of the first priorities of the engineers after the perimeter defences, which had been considerably strengthened by this time. Heavy 'Star Rattle' Machine guns were placed in makeshift and concrete bunkers, 120mm Anti-Tank guns had been wheeled behind earth works, the immediate area had been pre-sighted by the Artillery Observer Corps, trench lines had been dug and were currently being re-enforced with whatever was available and not being used in the immediate area, 'Sol' Anti-aircraft rockets and even some anti-air Flak cannon had been established also in earth works. The airfield was a veritable fortress now... ready for whatever the rebels and their revolutionary allies might throw at them. The killing fields awaited them should they attack...

It had been decided that Guild forces should begin to expand their positions and holdings now the 81st was here and that it should run Air missions to cover the soon to be arriving Bob-Bob Pacific Fleet and to keep rebels and revolutionary troops heads down.

Later that day a commique was recieved from the Pacific Fleet stating they were under assault by Revolutionary aircraft and were requesting immediate Air support and interception.

One hundred and twenty JA-21's were scrambled, lifting off on their AVTOL engines they sped off to the combat zone. They would arrive in 20 minutes with their aerial expertise to help defend the Pacific Fleet from the Revolutionary scum.

IC The rebel leader sighted, so many dead so quickly. He watched as the Sydney Malltia and Police moved through the city, setting up weapons inside the buildings. He sat in centerpoint tower, the highest point in the city, watching the people be ready below. They moved through their "Normal" Rotiens, setting up for their rebellion as they did. Slowly, he was moving to lift the Chaos from the city. People where seething from the masacure, and even now he was slowly working around the gliches in the systems to allow contact with the outside world. His identaty was unknown, only five men knew who he was, and they each had fiver servents who knew who they where, and thus it contiuned. He was not even from this land, but from the mountines, yet he knew their opression, the rest of the nation had stoped the golden city becoming indipendent. Now he was organizing their freedom, and it had been going badly.

"Brother Three" He called, and one of the men dressed in a buissness suit. "Let all who have asked to help know we accept, their help, use the secure line." He smiled "And Tell Omunis that he can beging raids on the brittish positions."

"Yes Master" The Man said, looking sad. "The Operation will begin."

Presently, the small units of Australian troops moved to take key points. The Airport, The Harbour brigde, The Opera house, the Highways. These would allow the Rebles to hold the city for longer. And the Mastger smiled.

Anyway, first attack the defence line I presume you have around Sydney (general direction of the fort).

IC:

The engines of the 81st Legions Armoured Regiment were stuttering and humming, their tanks painted to match the local flora. You could see the Black and Gold markings of the Wolves head and the Deaths Head under it symbolising their status as Armoured Troops. Men and Women were moving from one vehicle checking mechanics, dials and the equipment of the troops. The wedges of 'Dark Star' tanks could be seen quite distinctively in the low brush in the area between the projected rebel primary defence line and the Guild controlled airport area.

'Bright Star' Recon Vehicles were sitting about 300 metres ahead in their five sections, they would sound out the defence line for the attack and overcome any weakly defended positions creating gaps for the armour and infantry to pour through.

The 'Sabre' Half track sections were positioned between the tank sections and on the flanks acting as the mobile infantry support so as to eliminate any dangers to the tanks with a combined arms assault.

The 'Starstreak' Artillery was positioned behind the main body of units with two sections on either side. They would provide mobile fire support for the attack.

Two Infantry Regiments would assault on the flanks while the armour punched through the centre, effectively a spearhead which would bring maximum force onto a small area of the rebel defence line.

An artillery regiment from the Legion had been brought up behind the tanks, their 90 105mm barrels pointing skyward ready to recieve targets from the spotters attached to the Armour and Infantry.

The reserve for the attack force was half the Claw Regiment, who would serve as the Urban Assault Infantry in the case of a penetration into Sydney itself.

The Guild Airforce would provide air support in the form of 100 of it's JA-22 Ground Attack Aircraft and 200 JA-21 Interceptor models to fend off enemy fighters.

With the codeword 'Dragon', the units were on their way heading towards the enemy defence line, or where they thought it was.

"Halt in the name of the King!" Without thinking he dropped to the ground and rolled onto his back, pistol drawn and he fired two shots into the red-coats' chest and one into his throat. McCullough lept to his feet, but was met with a sharp pain in his shoulder. He looked and saw a red gleam. "Fuck!" he swore under his breath as he ran. He then climbed up a fire escape and made it to the roof of a building, from which he lept to another. He looked around him and saw an open skylight. He gingerly lowered himself into the open skylight as his shoulder was throbbing with pain. He noticed he was on catwalks over a stage. He crawled carefully and looked over an empty audience chamber. He dropped into one of the boxes ovrlooking stage left. Am I in a theater? he thought. He looked at a stage bill on the floor. The opera house! I can lay low here for a while.

Guild forces on the airfield might have wondered what the two dots in the distance far above the horizon where, but in the controll tower there was no mistake as to what they where, radar had confirmed their origins and destination; Sydney Airfield.

Guild Forces this is the Royal Dumpsterdanian airship Pandora, clear the landing strip.

Captain Haze had no intention of becoming a sitting duck and had launched all fighter wings as did the Pandora's sister ship the Genesis, in their holds where three fully equipped brigades of the Royal Marines and the destruction of these forces would prove devastating to the already thinned out Dumpsterdanian Armed Forces.

Guild Forces, this is the Royal Dumpsterdanian airship Genesis, prepare for troop deployment.

The approaching armada moved silently through the iron grey water. Amongst the battleships and the carriers, the sailors whiled away the time playing cards and half heartedly putting on productions of plays that always ended with the victory of the righteous. On board the infantry transports it was a different story, as the soldiers, ill used to life at sea vomited violently overboard, leaving a human stain upon natures endless river. They sung shanties and ballads of home, stories of their loved ones and families, as Australia drew ever closer and they could see their untimely deaths upon some foreign field even clearer.

The news of arrival broke upon them as it had for centuries past, a solitary cry of "Land ahoy!", and suddenly idleness transformed itself into action. That the fleet was battle worthy was pre-prepared, but now every sailor busied himself with some obscure duty that helped towards a clear bigger picture, though the cause that they where fighting for remained clad in uncertainty. For the soldiers, crouched as cattle in floating metal containers with lines of anticipation showing on their weather beaten faces, comfort was in the grip of the rifle and the power of the bullet. The sea shanties subsided, thoughts of home and of mortal comfort were cast aside as the fight, death and some result of victory or defeat grew closer. Another song was struck up, the anthem of Momanguise. Words, music forged in the fires of the revolution stalled a faint seed of hope in even the most miserable of hearts, and in the present situation it found a special resonance. As its glorious chords where struck upon by a single sailor, a second joined the vigil and as a whole cabin burst into song, the intercom carried the strains to another ship, to another and another until the entire fleet finished the song in unison.

Not for the coins of the wanton world,
Nor the fire, that the furies hurled!
Not for the country we leave behind,
Or the glory of old times.
Not for the fight,
Or the almighty right,
Nor the streets, paved in gold!
But for the people I will fight,
And I will die absolved.

As the final, mournful strains died in a slow diminuendo, there was no applause or cheer that might have accompanied a victory. Instead there was a deep, understanding silence as the lowest rating, to the submarine crews to the soaring pilots of reconnaissance aircraft understood, that they were now paying homage to their still living comrades, and whatever death awaited them. In that one moment of humanity, arguments over money and cards where forgotten as the fleet took solace in their own unity and comradeship. Something special had passed between them, and whatever would come forwards to threaten them, they would stand together, live together, and die together.

The distant shoreline grew ever closer.

OOC: Mormanguise, where are you landing? If it's in Sydney you'll have to deal with Bob-Bob if it's near the Airport/Fortress you'll have to deal with both of us.

IC:

Guild Command and Control was suprised to see the two massive blimps casting their long shadows over their positions on the Airport. A hurried message was sent to the blimps to land in the Helicopter pad areas, the Guild forces hadn't expected this arrival by their allies the Dumpsterdamians especially not Blimps and Royal Marines, it appeared the Rebellion had caused much offence to many of His Majesties allies around the globe.

The 82nd Legion were still arriving although in a trickle currently due to some crisis back in Alpha Colony.

*******************

The tanks motored forward noisely in their wedge like formations they were intermixed by Infantry sections in half-tracks and the various guns being towed by the carriers. Behind them they could see the 'Moranth' Half-tracks requistioned by the Engineers to allow them to be protected during transportation as well the Armoured tankers of fuel and the other 'Moranth' Halftracks carrying boxes of ammunition and food.

The Guild Airforce's jets thundered ahead with orders to shoot anything that moved in the area until they reverted to normal fire missions being directed by the spotters and liason officers attached to each Regiment.

The advance contiued with the 'Bright Star' elements scouting far ahead looking for first contact with the enemy and to assess their strength.

Seth disliked not having his normal silent crow drones for advance targetting information. the sattelite feeds were okay but nothing beat having a 'crow fly in ten minutes ahead and feed you real time threat and target information.
Oh well he sighed, orders, go figure.
"Locking in on approach now, coming up on first target."
"Roger that, preparing eggs for laying."
"This is Ghost-lead we have aquired target and are ready hatch."
"This is Devil-6, roger, the incubator is on."
Ghost leads target was an area that the sattelites had located a congregation of imperialist tanks. other Ghost flights had similar objectives. load out was cluster anti tank and aea denial muntions. once the bombs dropped Seth and his well trained crew wouldhave felt sorry for who ever was on the ground but they were denying peopl their god given right to freedom.
"On line and bays open, lets give these Effers a night to remember"

all over the combat zone, the stealthy B-5 Wraith bombers of Ghost squadron sudeenly appeared on radars as their bomb bays opened wide marring their otherwise invisible to radar lines.
(This is a standard pre landing strike, there are ten B-5 each with 50,000 pounds of ordinance and their dropping on what ever targets are dumb enough to be in the open at night and not moving, also at least two bombers were targetted to overfly and bomb the fort.)

Hearing of the rebelion, and noticing that we have a spare fleet floating around, The Nine has committed the following assets to aid the rebellion.

4 Harris class amphibious assault ships

In recent news, A rebbelion has erupted in Sydney Australia and the government has promised support. The First Expeditionary Fleet is inbound and, as usual in wartime, all active military personel have been cut off from the outside world for security reasons. IC:

Ganoes Paran, affectionately known by his troops as 'The Master of the Deck' for his Mastery of gambling and card games generally surveyed the Command Room in the Airports former underground storeroom, his Staff Officers and Adjutants were busy issueing orders and making the war machine run relatively smoothly.

His troops had secured a perimeter around the city of Sydney now, they were beginning to dig in, he had already dispatched what he could to help in the surrounding of the city. This meant the Airport was covered by skeletal forces mainly parts of the 82nd whose Regiments still hadn't arrived and Ground Defence personnel, who were part of the 9th Air Legion.

The perimeter around Sydney was thickening as the heavy construction units of the Engineers moved in to build Temporary bunkers, Trenches and help the troops place minefields and create earthworked positions.

All the artillery that could be spared bar a single battery of 5 guns had been sent to Sydney in order to smash the city with shells. This was of course still in the build up phase, but he had already requested that he be sent another Legion in order to have it as a general reserve as well as adding it's heavy firepower to the assault when it was ready to begin.

The 9th Air Legion was also on heavy patrol duty, there had been sightings of an armada approaching Sydney, however they were not sure whether it was to help or attack the rebels yet.

The Genesis was the first to lower itself into position above the main airstrip, a shrill whistle blew far above on the bridge and on that command hundreds of black ropes where thrown down.

"Ropes clear, first five platoons, step up to the lines and down you go!"
Black gloves tightly gripped the ropes as the first marine slid down towards the tarmac.

"Ground is clear, send down the rest!" The luitenant quickly marked out the positions for the vehicle elevators with red smoke when the first squad of the fourth platoon hit the tarmac and bolted for the cover of the buildings at the left side of the runway.

Meanwhile in the Genesis' cargo bays the vehicles and artillery where being prepared for off-loading.
"Ground is clear, second platoon down you go!"
More and more black and blue clad royal marines hit the tarmac as the first elevator touched down, ofloading a Relas MBT and first squad of sixth platoon that had cramped in along the edges and on top of the tank.

After a short twelve minutes on the ground the Genesis took to the air again, the Pandora followed suit and completed the operation in only eight minutes due to her upgraded deployment system. Captain Haze clocked off as the last Relas MBT and tech-boys where down and nodded, happy and content; a new record for the Armed Forces and infact worldwide.

Forward Command Post.

A bright blue shine indicated the first elements of the sixth brigade moving into postitions next to Guild forces, markers indicated they where digging in.
Information taken from captured rebels, TACCOM overview maps and scouts portrayed a image of the "defences" and the best way to attack. However, the current standing orders where to wait until Guild High Command gave the all-clear.

The British battlefleet now outside Sydney gained protection from land based missile sites and the treacherous waters themselves. The coastal ridge shrinking away fled into the depths of the Pacific Ocean, only to rise again and strike any unawares warship.

In the city itself reports of rebel movement had been gathered. People were said to be flocking towards the major landmarks such as the opera house, and the office blocks, a situation the British army could hardly tolerate. As the situation escalated General Medison and His Majesties advisor only known as Mavil arrived in Perth two days ago, and entered the disputed territory only a day later.

Confirmed Reports were coming in of a landing conducted by Momanguiseian forces further up the coast parallel to the highlands, a fact which has not and will not go ignored by the British navy.

As a result General Medison ordered that His Majesties Pacific fleet to depart Sydney, and remove the naval threat from our coastline. They were to engage enemy forces at point blank range and sink them with the Navies newest and most powerful weapons.

Forward command post

“So general, how do you intend to end this rebellion without destroying half of the city? I am most concerned as to limiting the collateral damage.”

General Medison turned in his gleaming red uniform, his shining sword dangling from its scabbard demanded respect. “His Majesty, has put me in command of all military operations, you are only here to advise Sir Mavil, not control. Sydney, after our strike which will commence at twenty two hundred hours, will no longer be recognisable as the city you once new it. The fleet upon departure will level this city, and all the buildings within.”

“I do not believe His Majesty would condone such an action.”

“His Majesty already has, by giving me command. The royal eye is no longer facing this direction, it is more concerned with affairs in Europe and Asia. Australia is hardly a noteworthy threat.”

“That may be so, but we are still going to have the problem of clearing up the wreckage.”

“We will leave that to the rebels sir.”

At twenty one hundred hours the city of Sydney was evacuated by all personnel of His Majesty army. The blimps moved away from the sky scape while the fleet prepared to open fire. At twenty two hundred hours the city of Sydney received a blow second to none, as the guns and missiles of the Royal Navy were unleashed.

At o one hundred hours the next day, the British fleet made its way to engage and destroy the Momanguise naval assets.

OOC: Yay! This occurs simultaneous to BB's Naval Bombardment due to unified Command.

IC:

As the codeword 'Flash' crackled down the radio to the ears of the commanders of the various gun batteries of the Guild forces surrounding Sydney, as well as their counterparts all over the Operational area. The sky was turning a brilliant red as the dusk was setting in... it would within seconds be a mass of flashing muzzles and screams for the city beyond.

Within a few seconds of the codeword being issued the Commanders alerted their crews to fire at will. Machine gunners and sentry groups checked and cocked their weapons, Anti-Tank guns sighted their weapons on the off chance of any fire coming from direct buildings opposite.

Against the night sky 180 large flashes erupted as large scale bombardment began, Guild forces would be using Acid shells for the first hour of the attack, in order to kill and main any persons on the streets, but after that time they would switch to more conventional high explosive in order to obliterate buildings, which would obviously serve to shelter their enemies.

The Guild troops in the main had been ordered to post sentries but oh the whole to get a good nights sleep as far as was possible.

Guild Air power had been order to strike the approaching fleets in conjunction with Bob-Bobian Naval units in order to catch the fleet between a rock and a hard place, since they would have to use their heavy guns and their lighter guns simultaneously due to the attack from two normally seperate modes. Suffice to say the attack should be devastating...

:About 800 kilometers north of Sydney:
The Harris class amphibious assault ship was roughly one day ahead of the main fleet, its job was to establish a beach head for the rest of the landing force and prepare the area for reinforcements. as it came up to the shore, its massive clamshell hatches opened and the first of the LCAC landing crafts were away. The first carried a contingent of marrines to secure the area from the ground and the second with mobile SAM systems to secure the air space. As soon as the were offloaded the LCACs began their return trip to the assault ship and the next wave came in, this group of landing crafts carried artillery and vehicle support for the marines already on shore. After that the FRDS came in a began clearing space for runways. The Fast Runway Developement system can create a reasonable runway from any but the most broken, uneven terrain in under three hours and the east coast of Australia is far from that rough. Additional wave brought the rest of the forward landing unit.

Forces at LZ Alpha;
2 FRDS
2000 marines
4 mobile command posts
80 mobile SAM systems
40 MLRVs
600 LPVs
80 LAVs
20 VCH-43 helicopters
