OOC: Alright. Some info: Currently, the Imperial First Fleet is off the coast of Tunisia in the Mediterranean Sea, and the third fleet is near the Strait of Gibraltar in the Atlantic Ocean.
Risban owns Tunisia and Ireland in Earth III. It needs room to expand with its quickly-growing population. I figured Algeria was right there beside Tunisia and unclaimed, plus it's of decent size. Thus, Risban is annexing it.
I need someone to play one of the three anti-Risban groups in Algeria. I've already got one of them.
Anti-Risban Groups in Algeria (From RL stats): The People's National Army (official Algerian Army), the Islamic Salvation Front (Rogue/Outlawed Algerian militia), and the Socialist Forces Front (political party w/ militia). According to the CIA Worldfactbook, the size of the military in Algeria is 127,000 as well as 150,000 reserves. The Islamic Salvation Front has 1,500 troops. The Socialist Forces Front has 1,750 troops.
According to the V8 Calculator, Risban's military numbers 2,014,950 with 106,050 reserves. I RP the military to be 1,550,000 with and even 100,000 reserves. The rest of my military funding is focused mostly on the navy.
Mind you all, military isn't my best type of RP, but it seems the only way to get this land, because no one owns it and thus no one can sell it...

Duke Richard Kramer sat in the newly-built Government Centre. With him were Imperial High Foreign Affairs Minister Alexander Perkins, Tunisian Governor Ahmad Lans, Tunisian Magistrate Joseph McReily, and General Khair Aruj of the Imperial Military, Tunisian Branch.
"Gentlemen," began Duke Kramer. "Emperor Scorpius has given us permission to succeed with the conquest of Algeria. Ireland and Tunisia are too small to hold our current population... Algeria would be of great benefit to the Empire. We are to keep 7,000 troops on the Libyan/Tunisian border in case anything over there springs up. However, General Aruj shall lead a 238,400 man-strong army across the the Tunisian/Algerian border. Colonel Mark Biggs will lead a militia of 25,000 farther down and begin marching to the city of Tamanrasset. This militia will be specially equipped for their trip across the Sahara. Then, Admiral Tarda will have the First Fleet capture the port city of Annaba and deploy the 19,300 troops they have there, who will take the city. Once Annaba is taken, that will be our base of operations in Tunisia. The Third Fleet will join with the Second and pass through Gibraltar to seize the port town of Oran, deploying their 8,500 troops. Then, we will deploy all remaining troops from our Tunisian bases."
Minister Perkins sighed. "We don't know what to expect from the international community... Right now, there are conflicts in Europe, India, Pakistan, North America, and other places. With the relatively indigenous population Algeria has and the small military, events that take place shouldn't cause too much alarm. We'll be bordering close to Euroslavia, but we have not made any attempts against them in the past and they are recovering from Witzgall's invasion. Thus, they won't pose too much of a problem."
The men all nodded and exchanged final words before departing.

Risbanian Statement to Algeria
A message from Emperor Robinson Antares Scorpius was sent to Algeria via television and radio.
"Attention citizens of Algeria: Now is your chance to join the Empire of Risban. Forces from Tunisia and Ireland will soon be entering Algeria. Their missions are to disarm Algerian resistance groups, remove President Abu Kli from power, and allow a smooth transition from Algerian power to Risbanian. We are going to try avoid civilian casualties at all costs. Once Algeria is our's, all people will be granted full citizenship in Risban immediately, and will get all of the rights that Irish and Tunisian citizens of Risban enjoy. Algeria will also enjoy the protection of our military and power of our economy. We shall allow the Muslims in Algeria to remain worshiping freely, as we did in Tunisia. We beg of you all to please join Risban and help keep casualties on both sides a minimum.
Now, to the Islamic Republic of Algeria and the Communist Factions of Algeria, we ask that you please surrender to Risban. Your air force is practically gone and your navy is extremely weak and small compared to our's. All you have is a small army that is considerably inexperienced and untrained compared to Risban's, who have participated in several battles globally. Please, surrender. Government officials who surrender will be granted positions in the new government, as we did with the Tunisian leaders. The Algerian military will also be able to join in the Risban military.
Please, do surrender. If you would pay attention to Tunisia, it is benefiting greatly from the annexation and all of the people, save for some communists, are considerably happy. It did not take us long to clean up after the slight scuffle between the Lucas Loyalists and the Tunisian Communist Party, and we pray that this conflict does not take long as well.
If the Algerian President is open to it, we will gladly buy Algeria and discuss terms and arrangements for the annexation.
Thankyou, and do think carefully. It would be for the betterment of both nationstates that this annexation go through peacefully."
The message was repeated several times.

Tunisian/Algerian Border
The infantry and militia divisions had started to mobilize. Meanwhile, Risban citizens began to pack up, hoping that they would be able to move into Algeria soon.

Official Statement from the President of Algeria
President Juan Bashir, president of Algeria, responded to Risban's statement.
"The Islamic Republic of Algeria will surrender to the Empire of Risban for a sum of $100 billion. In addition to this fee, I will be instated as Risban governor of Algeria and will receive free foot massages every afternoon at three P.M.," grinned the president. "Finally, the culture of the Algerians will remain and we will accept no assimilation into Risban. Our army shall stand down and help Risban to stop rogue forces."


*Soon after the statement, 20,000 soldiers from the Algerian army joined the Islamic Salvation Front against Risban*

Statement to the President of Algeria
The Empire of Risban will accept these terms. We shall pay $100 billion, and the former President of Algeria shall become the Risban Imperial Governor of Algeria. And you and your staff shall receive your foot massages from the best foot massagers Risban can offer.
Imperial leaders shall meet with the president in Algiers. Meanwhile, our troops shall work with the remaining Algerian troops to capture and disarm the ISF and the Socialist Forces Front.

Minister Perkins, Duke Kramer, Admiral Tarda, and the other Imperial leaders sat on a jet heading to Algiers looking quite baffled.
"So, I guess we didn't need so many troops," said Kramer, relieved.
"There are still over 30,000 hostile troops lurking around," said Colonel Biggs.
"We can take 'em," said the Duke, smirking slightly.

Green Sun is providing 300 troops stationed in Risbanian Tunisia to help fight the resistance forces.

Golencia, can you take the Islamic Salvation Front? They have 30,000 troops, 20,000 of which are trained soldiers. Both groups hold the southern area of Algeria. (mostly desert).

The Empire of Risban is not interested in Southern Asia, thus we will not be doing anything there. Our movements right now are restricted to Africa, Europe, and the Mediterranean Sea. We also have no plans of getting involved in Southern Asia in the future.
What would becoming a protectorate ensue exactly? Mind you, Emperor Scorpius is not too big on being incorporated into other nationstates. He would like to offer for our NAP and Trade Contracts to mount into an alliance between Risban and Golencia.

The City of Algiers, capital of the former Islamic Republic of Algeria, was now the base of operations for the Risban disarming of the two rogue militant groups in the country. Duke Robert Kramer and Foreign Affairs Minister Alexander Perkins were to oversee that the government and economy be switched smoothly, while Grand Admiral Eric Tarda, Colonel Mark Biggs, and General Khair Aruj would see to the disarming and disbanding of the insurgents.
Currently, both the Islamic Salvation Front and the Socialist Forces Front held most of the southern region of Algeria, using the sands of the Sahara to their advantage. While Risban Imperial Troops did get some taste of desert warfare in Tunisia, they weren't as used to it as these Algerians were.
Luckily, with the People's Liberation Army of Algeria now working for Risban, they had enough men to help guide them through the deserts.

Men, women, and children from Ireland and Tunisia had already begun to arrive in the northern areas of Tunisia, escorted by the Imperial Fleets and their troops.

With no naval threats in Algeria, the Second and Third Imperial Fleets returned to the coasts of Southern Ireland, where they would keep an eye on the northern coasts of France, which were currently ravaged by the bloody civil war in neighboring Witzgall.
The Imperial First Fleet, the largest of the Risbanian Fleets, remained.

We would also, if this is not accepted, to wire 50 billion Osean Bills (150 billion USD) to the government of Risban to help fund the war. We show interests in Africa and Asia ourselves, and hope this will tighten our nations diplomatically.

All peoples will be treated fairly and will stand fair and equal, unbiased trails. Collective factories, housing, and farming must also be allowed at the people's choosing. Inheritance of a company, at least in Algeria, must not be allowed to be passed on to anyone unless they can rightfully claim it through hard work and determination. You must accept us as our own faction who will assist or resist Risban in any way we choose. Also, Risban must provide shelter and means to get weapons if the need arrises. We can be Risban's ally or we can be their worst nightmare, it's up to them," a man with a Russian-Middle eastern accent said in a news interview, "So to prevent any casualties on either side, Risban will comply to our demands. Everyone deserves a fair chance at life, no matter how much influence their families might have. HEY! Are there subtitles on this? Why are there subtitles? I studied English at Oxford! There are some Americans with worse English than me! WHY ARE THERE SUBTITLES?"
"Sir, there aren't any subtitles, I assure you," the reporter told him. She hand-signaled to the crew back at the channel to cut off the subtitles.

Official Statement to the Algerian Social Forces Front
The Empire of Risban will not in any way allow the SFF political or military power. We shall not comply with any of the SFF's demands. We call for the immediate surrender and laying down of arms of the Algerian Socialist Forces Front.
That is our demand. Risbanian Troops, along with former Algerian Soldiers and a small group from Green Sun, with some OFAF troops possibly coming, will go through the desert and make sure that the SFF is completely disarmed and imprisoned.
This is your chance to surrender.

At this, three men appeared on the camera. One took the female news reporter and slit her throat. The other man was shot by an AK-47. The camera fell, showing the dead man's shot face.

It is part of their trainning as with Artic and mountainous trainning.
