Tonight on NSNN an assassination attempt was made on High Father of Leafanistan. The assassin reportedly snuck past the best guards and entered his inner sanctum after disabling his sanctum honor guards. After about five hours troops finally burst into the room finding High Father enjoying a moment with his assassin. The Assassin is one Cassandra Claire daughters of some rebellious protesters who are believed to run an underground movement for democracy. Her parents were recently arrested in a raid on their home in New Mosgradia. However instead of killing High Father, she somehow had a conversation with him. Immediately after guards burst in High Father ordered that marridge arrangements be made, and to have his Council of Military Leaders brought into the conference room. Now lets go to Jessica Weny; Live, at the Council building.
Thanks Tom, tonight we...wait...they are coming out. Give me a second to gather this. State radio reports that High Father has dimissed 15 high level generals who were in favor of razing New Mosgradia for rebel activities. 15 new generals have been appointed all known to be rather liberal but still loyal. I am getting reports that her parents are being released and all those who were arrested with them have been pardoned. This is amazing Tom, also tomorrow is going to be a state holiday as High Father makes Cassandra High Mother, and they rule over Leafanistan with "Peace, benevolence, and strength." What a woman's touch can do Tom? Back to you in the news room.
