--Update--

This is the Hamptonshire News Network. I'm Hugh Paulsen filling in for Cathy Phillips.

Earlier today officials from the Interior Ministry and the Royal Household Directorate began to brief Hamptonian reports and news officials about the current status of the ultrasecret and ultrasecure new capital city of Obsidia. The massive ten year, one trillion tinstaafl ($1.85 trillion USD) has been steeped in secrecy. Located thirty miles west of the current capital of Hamptonshire City, Obsidia has been completely off limits to reporters. By law, any Hamptonian news agency reporting about the new dual capital would be fined. Today we have our first official permission to begin showing you, the viewers, the newly constructed buildings of the still incomplete Obsidia.

For those viewers that may not be familiar with the Captial Relocation Act, here is a brief summary:
Capital Relocation Act
Due to the current size of Hamptonshire City, it is becoming increasingly difficult to regulate the security situation. In order for a Government to properly operate, there must be order and security. Furthermore, the proliferation of foreigners and embassies represents an intolerable threat to the Hamptonian way of life.

Therefore, Hamptonshire will have Dual Capitals. The Royal House of Representatives, Foreign Embassies, the Offices of the Prime Minister, and those ministries that deal with internal and domestic matters will remain located in Hamptonshire City. The Royal Senate, the Grand Duke, the Royal Armed Forces, the Foreign Ministry, the Defense Ministry, the Finance Ministry, the Intelligence Ministry, the Health and Domestic Security Ministry, and those Foreign Embassies belonging to nations deemed First Level Allies will relocate to the new capital.

The new capital shall be called "Obsidia" and will be closed to all unauthorized civilians. Construction on the Obsidian Palace and other government buildings will begin immediately.

Interior Ministry officials have continuously denied our requests for details about the city or its buildings. However, today they have made available to us pictures of several of the new buildings. As time goes on and as my producers get the pictures and information to me, I'll get them to you.

The actual city of Obsidia will have an extremely small population. It is projected to house less than 5,000 non-military personnel. Within the city limits the city will be entirely open to all those with access. While the gigantic Obsidian Palace is yet to be completed, several of the important Ministry buildings have been finished and senior personnel have begun their move in process.

Granite Complex

The aptly named Granite Complex is located on over 125 acres of land overlooking the Hoover Valley. The Complex will house the headquarters each branch of the Royal Armed Forces, the Defense Ministry, the Intelligence Ministry, and the Health and Domestic Security Ministry.

White Palace

The massive White Palace will house the Foreign Ministry and the Finance Ministry. The Palace is located on top of a large hill directly east of the Granite Complex.

As of this moment that is all the information we here at HNN feel comfortable reporting. As the day and week progresses we will come to you with more information about Obsidia and the future of the Government of the Grand Duchy.

For the Hamptonshire News Network I'm Hugh Paulsen. Good day.
