((Someone RP as Vermont an New Hampshire, must be in Earth 3))
At 2356 Hours 1/18/26, the Green Sun fleet from Tunisia arrived in Western Greenland for refuel and rearmement. At 0345 hours 1/19/26 they arrived on the coast of Vermont and New Hampshire and landed a team of negotiators. They proceeded to the captials of the former sates of the USA to discuss Green Sun's annexing them.

The Commonwealth of Taiwanese Islands is shocked by the attempt by Green Sun to annex territories in the Americas. This total surprise allowed the Congress to gather enough popular support to dismantle the Defense Intellegence Agency immediately.

Unlike the Witzgallian Civil War, the Commonwealth has vital interests at stake here. The 3rd Marine Division immediately mobilized and is deployed on the borders of Maryland and Delaware. Air Force units from Taiwan is also mobilized, and several combat wings are being relocated to Maryland.

Soon Government Spokesman George Kerry made a public statement regarding Taiwanese Islands' position on this matter:

The Commonwealth will not allow the Green Sun to set foot here on the Americas. Our forces have been mobilized and prepared for any possible developments, though as we all know Taiwanese Islands is a peace loving nations, and we hope to resolve this issue peacefully. Officials from the Government will be dispatched to these two states.


Shortly afterwards the Special Forces escorted Senator Naomi Crandle and John Kasahama into the states of New Hampshire and Vermont. The people of those lands are presented with the choice of integration into the Commonwealth, upon which they will receive the status of Commonwealth Territories, and Sovereign States status may be granted after some time.

If TI attacks Green Sun, its negotiators, its military, or sets foot on New Hampshire or Vermont, they will be cleansed. The only military action we have taken is a naval blockade, allowing no ships to leave farther than 2 Nautical miles from their ports. We will allow them to fish and do about their buissness. We intend to leave these two states' lives as tehy are, only under the protection and the flag of Green Sun. If Taiwanese Islands believes Green Sun does not deserve a place in America, Green Sun won't believe TI doesn't, either. Our president and the richest man in Green Sun, Uziel Fastrin, are both from the USA, Uziel hailing from Massachusettes, which you control. We will not take any military action against any other nation, we just wish to have Green Sun close its roots.

Also, Green Sun insists that you remove your senators immediately.

New Stamford is almost ready to bring its army back to the mainland, where we will assist Green Sun in any way possible.

IC: With Green Sun apparently serious, Congress became divided.

"The reason we are sending our forces out is only to protect our investments," argued one senator. "It is becoming clear that Green Sun will not pose a threat to them, at least not immediately."

"There is a strategic issue here," another with military backgrounds said. "Those three states are of minimal interests to us. However, if we failed to take a stand there, who knows if they won't keep rolling south untill they reached our borders?"

"Don't be a fool," snapped a senior senator. "Our forces are engaging perceived 'strategic threats' all across the globe already! It is time to stop, I say. Else we risk being exterminated! And what of the reports of this unknown ally of Green Sun joining in?"

At this moment, prestigious senator Dan Lee stood up, silencing all.

"The Green Sun have stated they are not interested in attacking us. The best way to solve conflicts is through diplomatic channels. We should negotiate with them through Crandle and Kasahama to secure our interests first. If we can get them to respect the Commonwealth's primary security needs there would be no need for an armed conflict. Perhaps we might even get an ally."

The rest of the Senate eyed each other sheepishly, but one by one concurred.

That night, Senators Crandle and Kasahama approached the Green Sun officials' staying place and knocked on the door.

"Yes? Come in!" one of them said. The two men walked in.
"Come in, sit down, have a cigarette. We've been expecting you. I am Abdul Jak'har. This is Jennifer Truv and Frank Lawrence. Now I understand Taiwanese Islands is having a bit of trouble recognizing our takeover of Vermont and New Hampshire. I assure you, our only intersts here are in finding a place to call our own on Earth since we are a Space-based nation. Our only influence on Earth is in Tunisia and to a lesser extent, Ireland. These belong to our ally, Risban, who has allowed us to build airfields, bases, and ports on their land. Now, I don't have the authority to make this deal, but I'll get our Congress to have this pass. Green Sun will come to Taiwanese Island's aid in a time of war as long as to recognize New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine as ours. Also, we may have to claim land in Africa soon, so we would be glad if you helped us take at least a portion of land there in the future. Green Sun does not wish to be hostile to any nation, we only wish to defend the honor and the rights of ourselves and our allies. I hope you can be one of our allies."

Crandle is relieved. As a member of the Defense Committee she is aware of Taiwanese Islands' dire need for allies, and her strategic interests in North America.

"Very well then," Kasahama said, also satisfied. "Taiwanese Islands will recognize the claims of Green Sun, in return for a promise that Green Sun will not invade south."

Crandle spoke next.

"The Commonwealth of Taiwanese Islands have been planning for a Pact of North American States for quite some time. Now that we have sorted out our disputes, our government wishes to invite delegations from your side to come to Maryland, and participate in the Batimore Convention."

She went on to inform them of the details and workings Taiwanese Islands have proposed for the PNAS.

"I don't see why not. But Green Sun is currently at war with United Cultures, Risban is being attacked, and we're taking the northeast corner of the USA. These things won't be officialized until later. as for now, we're awaiting a responce from the citizens of these fine states.

The negotiators sat in the Capital building of Vermont. They had smiles on their faces. They were sure that they would accept their deal. They could finally own a piece of terriotory on Earth.
"So here's our deal: You let Green Sun civilians move into New Hampshire and Vermont and we'll stop the blockade. You'll also let us train and garrison troops and build aircraft, armor, and abttleships. In return, New Hampshire and Vermont will become Green Sun territories. Anything you'd like to add?"

"Very well, then. Green Sun does not have much of a choice, then. If you won't let us annex you we'll have to do it ourselves. Good day. And mind the purple jets, they're armed with Napalm," the woman replied. He walked out of the building and into their car. They drove back to the shore where a transport was there to bring them back to the ship. It then came back with a load of troops, armed with M8 rifles, four grenades, Kevlar vests, and one extended-clip Desert Eagle .44 magnum.

"Cowards, governor? No. Just capitalists."
The soldiers opened fire on teh stationed militiamen. Even though they were outnumbered, they still were better equipped. The M16s and AK-47's and the AKM-47's were no match for the Kevlar-armored M-8-wielding soldiers.

The soldiers were highly quick to react to the grenades. One soldier grabbed one and threw it abck. Two were not so lucky and the explosion killed one and wounded the other.
"Imperialists? They're fucking IMPERIALISTS? They've been ruling themselves for almost a decade and they've converted to imperialism. That's kinda odd," one soldier remarked as he dragged his buddy toward cover. A medic attended to the grenade wound while the soldier used the building for cover as he fired using the M-8's camera ability.
