Kidnap! (attn Present Day Comatica)

7:00am, Near the Comatic Palace.

It was a fine morning in the Comatic capital, things were just a bit calmer since the incident at Springbrook.

The new Emperor, Titus Celmaetus, was out on a jog, guarded by several royal guards. The mood was guarded, but still everyone was upbeat, and trying to keep up with the Emperor, whose youth was giving him an edge.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, the Emperor passed by a cafe. A man sat there drinking coffee, and noticed the Emperor.

He pulled out a cell phone and called a number. "Hey, bobby......your gift is here."

He then hung up and returned to his coffee.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Soon, a white van, marked "KSC Shipping" began driving hard to the Empror's location. Tracking him, it ended up following the Emperor's path.

The vehicle pulled alongside, a door opened up, and men with Colt Commandos came out, spraying bullets at the guards. Amazingly, they didn't hit the Emperor, but then, they soon grabbed him by the scruff of his neck, and dragged him into the van.

The van soon sped off, as policemen began chasing after it. Going into a nearby alley, they lost the cops.

There, another van, marked, "Karl's Sausages" waited for them. The Emperor was dragged to the van, and thrown in. His mouth was duct taped, and he was handcuffed.
--------------------------------------------------
The men in the new van said, "Shut the f**k up, kid."

The Emperor had to comply, he had a MAC-10, nay, at least 10, pointed at his face. They drove to a place out on the waterfront, where a Russian Mob man awaited with a cargo container.

The Russian Mobster went, "Okay, where is the quarry?"

The men dragged Titus out and said, "Here he is, Volkov. Throw him in the Evergreen crate, and lock him in there. First, a Polaroid."

The man pulled out a Polaroid camera, and snapped a picture of Titus, who was then thrown in the Evergreen cargo crate, which was snapped shut.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Later the Polaroid and the letter was delivered to the Parliament of Comatica, reading:

"Dear Comatic Government.

We are holding your Emperor hostage.....we demand one hundred billion US dollars ransom in exchange for his life. Deliver the money to the docks, and bring no police or arms of any kind, and do not post snipers. Failure to comply will result in his death."

Lucilius Veldaem pounded his fist against his desk, the letter crumpled in his hand. Lucilius was the unspoken leader of the IIB, red-faced and quick to be angered. He cleared his desk of all shards of paper and scribed down a note on a peice of looseleaf.

Dear Ayasugi,

Despicible does not even begin to describe your demeaner. You have sunk low enough to take a mere youth to your establishment. Well, I may not be as learned saber-rattler as the Celmaetus family, but hear me loud and clear: Your death will be imminent the second that you so much as cut him. I am assuming the position of the Steward of Comatica, and my first order is that if anyone from the RALM is found in Comatica, we will hasten to torture and execute him. Good day, and we await your reply. But do not coat it in as much filth as usual.

Sincerely,
Lucilius Veldaem.

We again, ask for $100,000,000,000 from you. If it is handed over, your Emperor will not die. Don't get cute.

Yet I strongly believe that Comatica cannot trust you, Ms. Ayasugi. If we hand over the money (Which is a mere drop in the bucket to the Comatic government), then you will most likely kill him anyhow. And if the money is given to you, then that would be as bad as surrendering. Now listen, bitch, you do not intimidate Comatica, nor do you intimidate Titus. He is strong-willed, and he will find a way to destroy The RALM.

Just give him the money. Your GDP will recover almost immediately from the defusion of cash to The Real ALM. And if he does kill Titus, Pacitalia will again be by your side helping to destroy these mongrels. Then, we'll see who "surrenders", as you say you don't want to. You won't have to.

Very well. That, coming from an experienced Prime Minister, seems more logical than in my own mind.

RALM, let us arrange a swap, the money for Emperor Titus.

Agreed. Bring the money to the docks at 12:00 midnight. Our contacts will hand the Emperor to you. The trade is to be done at the same time.

Please, bring no cops or troops.

Our emperor is worth more to Comatica than killing a few RALM men. There will only a trained ambassador, and unarmed IIS agent, and three accountants bearing the several briefcases full of the requested money.

Thank you. They are to arrive, again, at midnight. There, we will bring the Emperor to you, and we will exchange them at the same time.

The IIS agent, Ludus Velnent, leaned against a monsterous crate at the shipyards. The minute hand sluggishly approached 12 on his watch, and seemed to slow down as it drew closer. The accountants stood warily around him, each bearing two briefcases weighed down with crisp 100 dollar bills.

Finally, the hand swept over the twelve, ever so slowly, and the five men stood still and deathly quiet.

OOC: Sorry it took so long, I haven't been on for 5 days.

He simply said, "Welcome. Let's get to business, shall we?"

Ludus straightened up, alarmed at first, then calming. He glanced at Titus, who's blue eyes showed no fear.

The accountants stepped forward, bearing the billions. They set the cases on the ground, and popped them open. Ludus crossed his arms. "I believe that you will find that everything is in order. Now kindly hand over Mr. Titus."

He let Titus go, and he promptly went to the agent.

Ludus grabbed hold of Titus and wrapped a blanket tightly around him. He did not seem cold, but Ludus wanted him to feel safe.

He and Titus stalked back to the BMW, waiting back near a seafood cafe. The accountants followed shortly afterward

"I hope that they're happy," muttered Titus. "100 billion is no large deal, is it not?" He turned his head up toward Ludus, who smiled down at him. "My lord, it is an honor to be serving you in such a way. And yes, we can handle 100 billion."

They walked away to a small motorboat, and sailed out.....

Emperor Titus sat comfortably back in his office, all of his familiar items surrounding him on his desk. "They finally received part of their ransom that they desired before," he muttered to himself. "But why did 7 innocents die, in Springbrook? For a ridiculous cause in Pacitalia, with whom we had no relations at that time? They must be stopped, before this gets out of hand. Before much time passes, Pacitalia will also be a target."

OOC: I'm not hinting anything in that last sentence, I'm just saying, is all.
