Does anyone have a link, or the actual stats, of the ship? I am looking into making a ship that will rival its capibilities. Thank You.

Don't bother, waste of resources.....

If you insist.

I never said it would be the as big, I just want to design something that is better. Anyways, thanks.

Look here (http://www.geocities.com/doujincorp/doujinbb.html), although you may want to talk to The Freethinkers before you start borrowing off the design.

Good god, that thing has to be one of the biggest god mods ever. Seriously, wouldn't that behemoth break apart just because of it's weight and size?

Only to those too blind to deviate from the path. According to most of the people Ive talked to, including my former lecturer in the subject, then no, technically not, especially with the internal framework that the Doujin carries to support the extra bulk of her armour schemes.

She by far and away sits higher in the realism stakes than say a 1Gt Nuke or the other horrendously laughable oddities that appear in II. Too much time was spent researching, arguing and debating the points and tbh I simply dont have to prove the design again. If you don;t wish to accept it, fine, but dont cry godmod unless you having something better than your opinion to call it that.

I'm sure there were more, but that's what I dug up.

OOC: Personally, I see the Doujin as feasible, but the problem with building these things is, as previously stated, a waste of resources. 250 bn for a single ship is ridiculous when all you need is a dedicated, coordinated submarine/aerial assault to take it down.

Owning a Doujin or other superdreadnought is really for purposes of prestige.

Wow, I expected this thread to go off to the wayside.

Whatever. Anyways, this is in NO WAY going to even resemble the Doujin. I just wanted to see what its aranment is, and then improve vastly on that. I guess I'll post here when I get anywhere on the design. So far, all I got is a honeycomb system on the walls. If you have any suggestions, go right ahead.

You've got it. Although the prestige value somewhat loses it shine when you buy rather than build one. A Doujin can reasonably take care of itself but like all ships it is cheaper to destroy than build.

The last great debate thread. A very interesting read.

Heh, I remeber when I was MT.
I see it as feashable.
And they are very powerful ships.

But at least your not in FT, where a Ubership can cost in upwards of 130 Trillion,

Before anyone says anything about it, I apologize for my atrocious grammar and spelling tonight. I am not really concentrating on my posts.

And in other news, I have decided to make the battleship a trimien, not to copy the Doujin, simply because of the added deck space and security. The ship shall be named the “Argos”
Here is a new thread for developments and the like. It is strictly OOC.

Exactly. It costs a few million maybe for some SS-N-26 Yakhonts and Ekranoplans or SSGNs to launch them off, making that giant investment you just made scrap at the bottom of the sea.

Not only that... I just realized that Doujins would not be able to traverse canals/locks, meaning that if you have one in the Atlantic, you can't move it into the Pacfic via Panama and vice versa.

You also can't dock a Doujin at even the largest real life ports, you would need to build several humongus customized docks around the world and might have to dredge out the bay or whatever just to get it into port. And forget about getting it into drydock.

Must we always debate about the ship? Just read one of the many multiple page threads already existing about it. The stats for the Mark 1 can be found here (http://www.geocities.com/doujincorp/doujinbb.html). I'm honestly surprised that the the Doujin is still being discussed, only a handful of people have any.

Wow, thats at least the forth time someone has shown me that link. Any ways, the place where the Argos is being designed is linked on the first page.

I do consider the Doujin a god-mod. Not because of it's size or armor, but because of it's armorment. 20, 30" guns on a ship is stupid. The recoil would be massive on the things. I dont care how much force a big ship can take. When you add up the recoil and weight, the forces on the frame would be horrendous. It would break apart. I'm not debating the ship, just my view on it. Besides, I think with ETC's a 20" is perfect as it allow the maximum blend of penetration and power.

The only godmode I see on the Doujin is just a matter of common sense. Not to be mean or anything, but AC-150 Tankers dont fit on any carrier, not to mention the Doujin's.
