Ixtar City, Jan 15th


Known to reach temperatures as low as -40 degrees Fahrenheit, the northern wastelands is a small circle of land on Ixtars northern frontier. It is estimated to be the home of as many as 200,000 Nomads split into various tribes, the Ixtar government claims to be in c lose contact with a few of the many tribes.


The Governments objective is to build up an infrastructure and move colonists into the area to mine undisclosed materials as well as settle the nomads into cities "to become civilized" said General Thompson, C-in-C of the 8,000 man Arctic Force of Ixtar.


Whether the nomads will resist or not is unknown, but "it wont be a spotless job" General Thompson said...

The Federal Republic affirms its position that it would rather see all of this happen with Ixtarian funding and colonists without military support, we also recognize this as an internal Ixtarian matter and will not interfere, but will be monitoring the events as they unfold.

March 5th, Northern Wastelands


Now 3 month into the invasion of the Wastelands, the Ixtar government claims there have been a low to moderate level resistance by some of the tribes. To date the Ixtar government claims t hat 12 Soldiers have died in battle, 10 more are missing and believed lost in various blizzards. The Army's morale remains high and it seems to be very well equipped to last in the cold.


Around 10,000 Tribesmen have accepted the occupation with out incident, the building process has already begun just a few miles across the border. This will be the first city ever known to exist in the area. Thus far houses are being built to accommodate around 400 families. The government plan is to move 200 families from IXtar and 200 families from one of t he tribes into the city with in the next 5 months.


An exact count on nomad causalities is not %100 reliable, however, the IXtar military command believes that 400 have died in combat. Few surrenders have been accepted by both sides.

The government of Ixtar thanks The Sword and Sheild for it's suggestion and will indeed pay heed to it. With in 5 months arond 400 famlies from both Ixtar and the Relium Tribe will be relocated to the Wastelands first city. It will be expanded quickly to accodomate 4,000 famlies with in a reasonable ammount of time. many villages are also planned.

Also the construction of a road from ixtars capitol city into t he wastelands has begun

Hamanistan has some of the best Search & Rescue teams in the world. If you wish, for a fee, The Hamanistan Government can send the 5th S&R Division to help search for lost troops or downed pilots. The 5th is trained for all weather and terrian areas. This team includes:
