The scene opens as Premier Dufour walks from behind the curtains to the podium before a session of the Peoples Senate. Holding the young Premier’s hand is lovely short brunette who has been spotted with the Premier on several different occasions. As the Premier cleared his throat, the young woman nudged him on the arm and she whispered something into his ear. He smiled and put his arm around her and then looked out towards the Senators from who represented the people of Communist Louisiana.

Ms. Kelsey Borque and I have an announcement to make to the citizens of this great nation. I would like to publicly announce that we are planning to get marry very soon. Since our tradition goes that it should be during the Mardi Gras season, we plan to have the wedding in exactly one (RL) week from tomorrow. We have already chose St. Louis Cathedral in the French Quarters of New Orleans.

We will ask those closest to the Dufour/Borque family to attend the event.

The Senators rose from their seats throughout the auditorium and began to give the young couple a thunderous applause, which lasted for some seven minutes. The couple gave each other a peck on the lips and smiled as the television cameras and the photographers crowded the side of the stage taking pictures and trying to ask questions.

OCC: I was bored and decided to do something creative. If your nation is allies with Communist Louisiana and/or is close to the Dufour family of Communist Louisiana, just ask and I will create a list of nations which will be allowed to send leaders to attend the wedding.

I also plan to send telegrams to nations whos leaders are known to be close to the Dufour family to take an active part in the RP as reading scriptures and what not during the weddding. I want this to actually be a really decently good RP.

President Onsorn sends his very greatest congratulations, and also wishes to attend the great wedding, and possibly read scripture.

Premier V. Ilyenov sat on a lawn chair located on the deck of a villa, nested in the Southern face of Pico Turquino. He flipped through some letters; most of them death threats. He heard the glass door opening behind him and peered over his shoulder. His secretary passed him a note.

"Aha.....He's finally spreading into the gene pool."

Vladimir stroked his graying beard, "Send him a fruit basket.....and a suckling pig."

"You don't want to attend, sir?"

"If he sends an invitation, I might. I'm getting too old to stay in one place, odd as that may sound."

Vladimir watched his secretary leave before picking up an orange and peeling it with his old combat knife, lost in the oscillation of the ocean.

Premier Dufour sat in his office while home at Oak Alley Plantation. Ms. Kelsey Borque walked into his office and kissed him on his head.

Kelsey Borque-I hope I am not interrupting you honey.

The Premier smiled and looked at her

Premier Dufour- Not at all. I am going through some mail I recieved today.

Kelsey Borque- Anything important?

Premier Dufour- Not really, a couple of RSVP's to the wedding. All the rest is bills and trash mail.

One of the house butlers walked into the open office at that moment

Butler- Sir, I hope I am not interrupting you sir.

Premier Dufour- Not at all Franklin. What do you need?

Butler- This has come in on an over night delivery.

The butler clapped his hands and another house worker walked in with a gift basket

Kelsey Borque- Oh how lovely. Who sent that Franklin?

Premier Dufour- Yes Franklin, who did send this?

Butler- Its a gift from Premier V. Ilyenov of Communist Rule. He has also sent a pig sir.

Kelsey looked at the basket then back to Premier Dufour

Butler- I think they would like to be invited to the wedding.

Kelsey Borque- Well, I don't want them at the wedding Daniel.

She looked at the gift then back at her fiance

Kelsey Borque- I do not want those people at our wedding. They do seem to fuck up everything else they get involved in. Please excuse my language honey.

Premier Dufour- Yes, I understand. They do tend to cause more harm then good. My grandfather, may he rest in peace, disliked them also. My grandmother as well as mother and father are attending the wedding and I do not want to bring hostilities into the ceremony. Franklin, send them nothing. If they ask did we recieve the basket, I will tell them it must have been lost in the mail and I am sorry I didnt invite them. Also Franklin, I do not plan to eat anything that they send because I do not trust them at all. Please go send the gifts to a homeless shelter or something.

Butler- Yes sir.

The Butler walked out with the basket being carried by the hired hand
