Cotland
10-01-2005, 03:33
Five companies of soldiers marched out on the tarmac. They were dressed in the parade uniform, and their boots, buttons, belts, bayonets and rifles were polished beyond perfection. They were members of the 1th Infantry Brigade. They were the Electorial Guards, the bodyguards of the Cottish head of state, which at this very moment stood on the tarmac and awaited the arrival of the Pushkan president. A fighter escort consisting of 8 EF-2000 Typhoons had already been dispatched, and were escorting the presidential plane. The city streets had been filled with Cottish and Pushkan flags, and children and people were in the streets, waiting in hope of getting a glimpse of the Pushkan president and the Elected Leader.

At the Electorial Palace, the finishing touches were being laid. The chefs were already busy preparing the grand dinner for the evening, where everyone who were something in Cotland was invited. The rooms for the Pushkan president and his entourage were being prepared. They were in the 5th floor of the Electorial Palace.

A further 4 companies were positioned outside the palace, while one company were inside providing security. All the soldiers were in parade uniforms. Their XM-8s were locked and loaded incase of trouble.

Elected Leader Thomas Rothsky waited patiently for the plane. His minister of Foreign Affairs Oscar Wallis, minister for Energy Jess Trueheart and minister of Defence Charles Manson were also present. The Pushkan president was a dear friend of Cotland, and of Elected Leader Rothsky personally.

"Pushkan presidential private jet landed in Cotland. President Ivan V. Mishin in a formal costumre has come out and the first thing he did was wave to the cheering crowd. Once he stepped down from the plane he was greeted by Thomas Rothsky, they shook hands."

Ivan: How is your family? Well?

Rothsky: Yes.

Ivan: Good, good, good for you.

"At that moment the reporters fought through the crowd and finally reached them"
