The Democratic Republic of Melcon, due to a failure to comply with a TGed ultimatium, has declared war on the ONI Concordiat.

The soldiers huddled in the back of the dropship, waiting. They plummetted towards the planet, the pod air-breaking to slow the decent to something more mananagable. The deceleration played hell with the Sargeant's inner ear.
"Sir, nearing the outer atmosphere!"
"Alright, marine, hold yer course! We gotta get down!"
The pod rotated as it hit the upper atmosphere, shifting position, pointing the heat-shield downwards. It shuddered, and the marines bucked at their harnesses. Downwards, downwards the pod fell, towards the ONI Concordiat's capitol.

Elsewhere, in space, the battleship Excelentia orbited, blasting the Concordiat sattelights out of its way. It used nuclear cannon to destroy the defense platforms as well, before they could react. Everything was going as planned.

Two GS-Class cruisers, one Medium GS Carrier, and one small Plasma-Shielded Laser Battleship is ready to defend Oni Cordiat at all costs.

(OOC: I believe the ONI concordiat may be modern, not fututre tech, and thus a future tech attack would not be appropriate)

The Excelentia detected the three inbound ships, and swiveled about to meet them. "We have no quarrel with you. Return!" came a transmission.

(OOC:Ahh, okay. Another thing to Melcon anyway. It's probably just a bit unrealistic that troops would be able to penetrate his border to his capital and ortillery destroy all of his defenses without ONI concordiate knowing. So probably leaving it for now until ONI concordiat responds would be best. And possibly mitigation of the attacks that you have already stated to occur, for now, and maybe it can be improved that way)

OCC: They jumped in-system and started shooting, without giving the Concordiat time to react.

IC: The Excelentia's Captain heard the message sent by Green Sun, and noted the fourth ship. "Sir," he said to the admiral, "I reccomend we call in the rest of the fleet." "Very well."
Two more rifts opened, a destroyer and a cruiser appeared. They rotated towards the Green ships, their cannon glowing. "Let them come" said one of the captains. Under his breath, the admiral said "indeed, let them come."

((OOC:Ahehehe. NO. You're only at 45 mil. population, and I'm at 150. I can hardly afford the fleet I have. YOU can't have a fleet of over thirteen. That's godmodding. I stole the Plasma Shield tech from a Halo-tech nation I fought and the laser cannons on board my ships are experimental and could very well fry my ship's engines (You can't use that IC). You don't have that many ships. And attacking "Oh, they don't have time to react." is g-modding, as well. But I'm not ignoring you, just ignoring some of your actions. The Bolo sensed the ship falling from the sky, and trained its cannons upwards, firing. Bolts of superheated plasma erupted from the Hellbores, and the infinite-repeaters crackled, throwing slugs of depleated urainium upwards at over 3 kilometers per second. The pod was hit, as Bolo Unit JSN watched. It trained its main Hellrails skyward, searching for a target in orbit. It found a horribly outmoded destroyer and fired, the magnetic coils gripping the fusing hydrogen sliver and hurling it skywards, at 90 mT/second of energy per bolt.

The USS Sun was hit by Oni's responce, but its Plasma shields defended it from the shot. All three Laser-cannon equipped ships charged theri primary weapons and aimed truely at their two targets. This wouldn't even be a skirmish vistory, just a fly being swatted.

OOC Ug, Pray tell what was the Ulitmatum, also, Green Sun, there are all types of ways he could afford those, although such power? THe bolo is not a noob crusher BTW, Although it would excel in this class. It is a gigantic, Sentinet Armoured fighting walker from one of the Sci fi Series written by Keith Laumer. Nice books those. IC: The Bolo was dismayed to find the Hellrails had hit a friendly ship. It shifted aim again and fired another salvo from its Hellrail cannon, one of the shells shredding the pod. The other Dinochrome Brigade Bolo tanks moved from their garrisons and fired as well, all fourteen of them adding their fire to that of Unit JSN. They awaited the return of the Concordiat Fleet, which had been called away from other duties.

All three of the laser cannons fired at their foe, with their captians sure they had disintigrated at least half off of the two ships. Those laser cannons did nearly wipe out a Covenant Battleship...

((OOC:This is unexpected...I don't own any Plasma cannons, just the shield technology. We had captured a Carrier which had no Plasma cannons, just the shield.))

IC:The pod melted around the sargeant, but the internal disrupter sheild kept him safe. Only one problem now; he was plummeting towards the ground without airbrakes or anyother way to stop. He screamed.

The destroyer in space shuddered as Green laser beams slashed at it's own sheilding, cleverly copied by spies, from Concordiat technology. Parts of the ship glowed red as excess energy was absorbed into capacitors. The old cruiser, on the other side of the Excelentia, was hit squarely by a single Hellrail bolt. The capacitors failed to store the energy, then, and the bolt smashed the armor on the ship's side, but it held. The reflective armor bleading off energy into the space nearby.

"Clever, using reflective armor like that, Melcon fleet. But can you stand to be assaulted by one-hundred forty fighters with Laser Gatling guns?" the Admiral aboard the USS Sun told the enemy captian.

Though our space fleet is somewhat lacking when compared to other nations, I will send ground forces to help in the defense of the ONI Concordiat, should that nation accept my help. The 45th and 13th Army groups (a total of 576,000 combat soldiers) are standing by for confirmation of the order. Let me know as soon as is possible if you want my soldiers to help you.

They melt, set fire to things. If a bolt gets through my battlescreens, I am already toast, because my entire ship is burning. So, your destroyer just melted.

They fired, heedless of what they impacted. The Hellrail bolts flew about, impacting upon friend and foe alike, and cratering the surface of the planet in parts.
On the ground, The Bolo Combat Units continued to fire, shredding anything larger than a gram that fell. The largest target had some kind of new shield, so Bolo ZKV, Zukhov, fired a 200 centimeter hellbore bolt at it. Little was left afterwards.

The Empire of Xeraph and it's immediate allies, Auralinia, Black Shadows, and Grey Phoenix, have declared war upon Melcon. The ONI Concordiat is allied to Xeraph, as well as The Empire of One.

Twenty-two ships-of-the-line are being deployed to the planet of Melcon, there to engage and destroy the Melconian space fleet, then to bombard the planet's surface.

600+/- more military vessels are being prepared for invasion of the planet.

OOC: Their armor is a certain reflective armor that can withstand the shot of a Laser cannon, but it still will be extremely heated and slightly damaged. It wasn't resisted against your shot, it was mine.

IC: The Excelentia's admiral witnessed his fleet disintegrating around him, and his ship shuddered from an unknown hit by some other odd-unknown gun. He quickly ordered a withdrawal back to the planet Melcon, hoping to use the orbital defenses in a last stand. He sighed. The Concordiat had too many allies. And the Bolos! They would be ground forces to reckon with. He just hoped he hadn't ruined his nation entirely.

He knew he had.

All the 140 fighters pursued their target, guns a-blazing. If they jumped before they did too much damage, fine. Otherwise their homeworld was easy pickins'. Even though it already was.

The Green Sun main combat ships, still at the Oni Cordiat system, quickly HyperJumped to the Coordinates of the fighters pursuing the enemy ship. It has been proven that HyperJump is the most effective way to travel the galaxy, so traveling such a distance was nothing for them.

The Emperor has no desire to destroy a nation that has seen the error of it's ways. If Melcon wishes to survive, it can surrender, and come under the jurisdiction of the Empire of Xeraph/TEOO for a period not to exceed 10 NS years (approx 10 RL days). During this time, Melcon will dismantle 75% of it's military force, and will open it's borders to free trade with any nation that wishes to trade with it.

Green Sun opposes Xeraph's deal. No nation should be stripped of its right to bear arms because of one simple, foolish mistake. If we allow them to go into TEOO and be stripped of it weapons for 10 NS years.
