Hello, I'm Connie Chung. Tonight, the National Government of Blargistania has announced that it intends to destory its nuclear stockpile. The weapons have been deemed useless under the Intra-Fistian Mutual Defence Pact and are set for destruction. Since the principles of Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) in the days of the US - Soviet Cold War of Old Terra are now uneccessary and obsolite, nulcear weapons are set for destruction.

The weapons are reported to be under tight security as they make their way form missile silos and sotrage facilites to destruction site where they will be broken down and dumped into hazardus waste storage.

There are reported protests from various communities around the dump-zones and from pro-war groups that insist upon the necessity of nuclear arms.

We are a signatory of the Non-Proliferation Act for Nuclear Arsenals. As such, we cannot sell the Nuclear Weapons to your nation. Even if we could, we would not. Proliferation of nuclear weapons among world nations does nothing but increase the odds of nuclear war breaking out and that is not our aim.

The acting Prime Minister of Lindim applauds this honorable act by BLARG, and hopes other nations will follow suit.

An impressive an honourable, but possibly unwise move. We hope BLARGistania remains capable of vigorous self-defence, should the need arise.

The Confederacy of Lachenburg applauds your nation for the destruction of these terrible weapons. Let us hope that more nations will follow this wise example, so that this planet may lead a more peaceful and prosperous future.

We would like to note to all nations that, even with the loss of our nuclear umbrella, we are far from defenseless. The National Government of Blargistania is fully prepared to defend itself from any hostile acts.
