ooc:I've been talking to the new nation of the Vatican Imperium, and until he gets a confirmaiton e-mail he can't declare anything, and told me to do it.
Anyone have any idea why confirmation emails arent working?I was establishing a puppet :D and the e-mail still hasn't arrived :mad:
ic:The Emperor of the Ankhmeti Imperium is proud to announce that the Pope Pious XXVIII of the Vatican Imperium, descendants of the first Pope, bearer of the Holy Relics of Christ, and bearer of the Pontificate of the Roman Catholic Church has declared that a new Vatican has been established, with the old one burned, and its relics taken with the Pope to the Ankhmeti system of Akronos, in the heart of the Imperium. The first planet in the Akronos system is renamed Vatican, and falls under the protection of Ankhmet, just as the old one was protected by Italy. Vatican is free to pursue its own Empire-building, but is protected by the close proximity of Ankh itself.As such, a treaty has been signed:
THE NEW VATICAN PACT
ARTICLE I
The first planet of the Akronos system shall be ceded to the Holy Vatican Imperium, with no restrictions placed upon developement. Akronos I shall henceforth be known as The Vatican.
ARTICLE II
The Vatican shall fall under the protection of the Ankhmeti Guard, the Space Marine Legions and the Navis Ankhmet, in addition to it's own forces.
ARTICLE III
The Vatican shall have no restrictions or tariffs placed upon trade within the Ankhmeti Imperium, and The Vatican agrees that the same shall hold true for Ankhmet within the Vatican Imperium.
ARTICLE IV
The Vatican will be granted the right to call a Black Crusade of the Ankhmeti Imperium, but the Imperium is in no way obliged to follow the order of Crusade.
ARTICLE V
The Vatican and the Ankhmeti Imperium shall exchange ambassadors, and establish embassies within each others' capitals.
