This situation was an intolerable threat to Whittier's territorial security. Action had to be taken. It was decided the best course was the annexation of the UAE and Qatar.
The Whittier Armed forces having been built up and being as advanced as they are, they expected little if any serious resistance. But General Mahmoud knew, you should never risk chances. So he was calling in the entire military for the assualt. You can never be too cautious he thought.
They all knew the risks: snipers, improvised explosive devices, booby traps, etc.
The 1st to go in would be the first infantry division followed by 34th Airborne.
Meantime, the 1st fleet had already commenced firing on one of the warlord's compounds.
The Airforce was preparing to launch missions.
On the Foriegn Ministry Building a message was beamed to the Grays Hill Capital Building with the following message:
In order to return law and order to our region, we have begun strikes against UAE and Qatari warlords and other criminal elements. Further we intend to annex said nations into our nation. For too long the peoples of these nations have had suffer under the despotism of warlords and terrorists. For too long our two nations have had to suffer the indignity of our ships being stopped and harrassed by pirates based in Qatar. But no more. Once we have completedly our consolidation of those nations, those responsible for piracy and terrorism will be brought to justice and those responsible for crimes against your nation will be handed over to you.
We wish you success in bringing law and order to Pakistan.
