Emperor Takenski coughed up blood. Looking down he saw the several large bullet wounds in his chest, immediately he knew he wouldn't survive. The large black tinted window behind him thudded with the noise of the hard rain falling. His room was dark, and quiet. Only the voices of the man and woman could be heard, but he didn't bother listening. He was more focused on getting himself out of this situation. He looked down at the two USP pistols at his feet. Death for his attackers was so close, however his shattered elbow prevented him from even attempting to move his arm. All he could do was sit and wait, wait for death.
The tall stocky man now approached the Emperor. The man had a long scar running down form his cheek to his chin, and had short brown hair. He wore a traditional black ops all black wear, with several pistols at his waist, and across his chest. With both hands he held his supressed NR-20, a homemade rifle for special forces, and elite units. Kneeling down he met eye to eye to the Emperor.
"Hello Emperor. Must be frustating just sitting there waiting for death, especially from such an esteemed soldier as yourself. I believe something like twenty six years in the military, with over 500 personal confirmed kills of enemy combantants. Quite impressive."
The man saw the surprise in Takenski, few people had acess to his old military records. The man smiled.
"You seemed surprised. I always know about my target before the job gets done. Let's see, at age 18 you joined the military as a Lieutenant, saw tough combat in the borderlands, received six wounds, your unit killing around 300 fighters. Then as a Major you lead a unit into the jungles of Africa, losing 60 men you killed over 2,000 with the asistance of air support. Then as a Colonel you lead the attack against the final warlord stronghold in Senegal, leading from the front lines fighting, you yourself killing the warlord. I could go on forever but I'm on a time limit."
Setting back the woman came foward. Standing side by side they both lifted their heavy 10mm pistols. From 5 yards out they cocked their pistols. Ready to take the emperor's life.
Time was going slow for Takenski, he reflected about what he had done in the past, burning villages, killing both civilians and fighters. Images of what he had done in the past flashed before him, his childhood, his years in the military, his take over of power, all went before him in a matter of seconds.
He saw the man and woman lift their pistols and fire. He heard the extremely loud bang and then only saw darkness.

The Conference Room was buzzing with noise. The twelve elite members of the Council had been ordered to meet at Conference Room 13. Conference Room 13 was by far the most secretative, and secluded Conference Room out of the 13 that dotted Ninjania. Only the most secret, and important news and orders was given here. The Council was a group of 12 of the most elite, powerful, and rich people in teh Ninjas, except the Emperor himself. The Council decided on important issues going about on the country. A vote was taken and then the action was to be carried out. This mostly included the economic side of the country, being that half of the members of the Council were CEO's. All this was done without the knowledge of the emperor. The Council members knew that the Emperor would kill them if he found out such a group existed.
Finally the metal door swung open and the Chairman enterred. He angrily walked towards the front of the table as the members sat. Before anyone could speak he throws down a folder containing nearly a dozen pages. The pages spread all over the table.
"Look at that shit. Union's Rights Act, Small Business Act, Banning Of Out-Sourcing, The Corporate Corruption Act, And it goes on. What is this Mark?"
The Chairman was obviously in a very bad mood, and he rightly deserved to be. Nearly all of these bills affected him and every person in the room. Mark Channels the Secretary of State flipped through the papers on the desk.
"The Emperor decided to crack down on Corporate Corruption and to give the people more civil rights. I tried reasoning with him but I couldn't be too pushy."
"Well you obviously didn't try hard enough. Do you have any idea what this will do? Over 12 anti-corporation acts passed. Our nation is run on Corporations. I'm going to lose over half of my profits in a month."
Jon Gregoria the Secretary of Commerce interrupted.
"Well, Mr.Chairman. I believe we have more grave problems. The Emperor and I have been talking and he's wishes to released two dozen more acts in the following months. I've done the calculations and unless he vetos the acts, our economy will go into a depression. The Corporatations will be forced to lay off nearly 3/4 of it's employees due to loss of profit. Intense crackdown on Corporate Corruption is also on the emperor's mind. This could lead to millions unemployed, the stockmarket could very likely crash. With all these people on the streets, rebellion is almost certain."
A great buzz came over all the members. The chairman raised his hand to silence them.
"I have a solution to our problem... Killing the emperor, then establishing ourselves as the new government."
The room fell silent. Noone spoke a word. The emperor was the friend of everyone in the room. The Chairman himself grew up with the emperor. General Alec Takenski, the son the emperor spoke first.
"How do you propose we do so?"
The Chairman smiled.
"My Corporation is the most powerful Corporation in the Region. I have a private army of over 5,000 fighters. I also have a large amount of assasins, and demolition experts. I can only think of two people who can complete this mission. Natasha, and Eric Strakhov. There file will be wired to your private e-mail address when this meeting is over. Details of the mission will be wired the same way."
The Chairman looked around seeing the expression on the Council member's faces. After waiting a minute he spoke.
"Now for the vote on the issue. Everyone knows the routine."
The members broke off a piece of paper, writing their name, and either nay or yay. After the pieces of paper were collected the votes were read out loud.

The room fell silent for a moment. Secretary of Commerce Jon Gregoria spoke again.
"Chairman I have a request."
"Yes?"
"Allow me to try to persuade the Emperor to veto the bills passed with the right amount of pressure I believe I can do so. I request a weeks time."
The Chairman thought for a moment.
"The Emperor was a good friend of all of us. One week will be given. Preparation for the mission will continue however."
Gregoria nodded.
"I believe that is all. This meeting is dismissed.

Natasha, and Eric Strakhov were the best assasins the Chairman had ever employed. The brother and sister had never failed a mission and had killed countless politicians, rival CEOs or anyone deemed a threat. The parents of the Strakhovs were both killed in the civil war of the 1979, leaving the children as orphans. Adopted by Chairman of the Council Craig Staub he hired the best trainers, teachers, Special forces, and intelligence personel to train the young Strakhovs to condition them, and train them to be effective killing machines. Trained from the age of 2 the skill they have acquirred is unsurpassable. At the age of eight the two killed their first man with a pistol shot to the head. At 14 the duo was given their first mission. The duo has a perfect record of 89 missions completed with an estimated 2,000 killed.

The Strakhovs enterred the Chairmans office. Walking in they sit down.
"Glad to see you. The Council has voted on a new mission, which would require your skills. Now, this mission is going to likely be your most difficult mission. The Primary Objectives for this mission is to kill the Emperor."
The Strakhovs said nothing, and showed no expression on their face. Natasha spoke first.
"What are the details?"
"Infilitrate the palace, avoid or kill the 500 guards without alerting the emperor. Now I've got some connections so the Royal Guards will be replaced by normal regulars due to the Victory Parade, which is in 1 week."
The Royal Guards were a selected elite of soldiers taken from the Ninjian ranks. Most of them are in their 30's or 40's but are excellent soldiers. Replacing them with regulars will make the mission a whole lot easier. The Chairman spoke again.
"Do you accept."
Both said simultaneously.
"We do."
"Excellent. Further details will be given to you via secure phone line. I suggest you get on your survelliance started."
They nodded and exited the room. Walking just down the hall from the CEO's room was their apartment. After they had enterred the code, and scanned their eyes and hands they enterred. The large apartment was one of the most lavish apartments in the Escolar Skyscrapper, save for the CEO's own room. They walked towards the large bookcase, which almost coverred an entire wall. Eric took one of the books out, and opened to the first page. Something that looked like a calculator took up the entire page, he pressed in the correct numbers and the book shelf openned to reveal a large room filled with the most advance military equipment money could buy. Communications, Intelligence and Military Systems were hanging off the wall, including rifles, pistols, knives, outer-wear and much more. They walked in and gathered the equipment needed.

Seven days had passed, and still no word of the mission to be aborted. Obviously the talks with the Emperor had failed, all that the Strakhov's needed was a go ahead by the Chairman and they would go to work. Natasha Strakhov laid on top of the roof of Museum of Military History, which would be only 450 meters from the Grand Palace were the Emperor lives, and rules from. Eric Strakhov was facing the Eastern side of the Grand Palace, laying on top of the roof of the Grand Hall, the location were delegates met to decide on which issues needed to be brought forth to the emperor. Each were heavily armed, with the most sophisticated technoloy, including Infrare Red, and Night Vision Goggles.
Suddenly the beepers of both agents rang. Both picked up the beeper, two rings and the confirmation code. The mission was a go ahead.
Immediately Natasha shut down the communications line, all calls were directed to her before she they could go through. Once this simple task was completed she picked up her NPS-99, a .223 silenced sniper rifle, she attached the Night Vision scope and checked her watch, 11:30 P.M. they had to be out by the maximum of 3 A.M. She attached her cordless secured radio line to her ears and spoke to her brother.
"Eric, the lines are down. Dress up quickly and take out the front guards out. I will take out the six guards patrolling the rear, and sides. Once I meet up with you at the entrance we'll go in."
Eric had been preparing himself since he received the go ahead call. Once he had attached all his pistols, knives, and goggles he drapped over himself the tattered dirty mess of clothing. He put on of his .22 silenced pistols in a brown bag, and waited for his sister to call. He received the transmission and reported back.
"I'm heading down now, all this stuff is sort of heavy so just cover my back incase I'm slow."
"Will do."
Eric walked downstairs, and went outside the front door. Walking as if he has a limp leg he falls down on the concrete leading to the Main Doorway in the Grand Palace. He doesn't move and remains on his face. He hears footsteps from the guard.
"Jesus Christ... Comeon buddy, get moving."
He repeated the same phrase several times, seeing no way he hands his rifle to the guard next to him, walking up to the man he nudges him. Suddenly in a flash Eric gets up, puts a bullet in the mans head, and quickly shifts to shoot the other guard in the head. Both guards fall down, and don't move. Making sure of his kill he puts another bullet in both of the men's head.
Natasha smiled, too easy. Seeing the guards from the rear, and sides coming up she shifts her rifle. The automatic sniper rifle proved to be highly accurate as she downed all six of the guards, without alertting anyone else.
"The guards are down, punch in the code and I'll meet you down there."
She dismantled her rifle, and took out her pistols, and a rifle. Within minutes she crosses the street and meets up with her brother. Eric takes off the heavy tearred clothing, and checks his NR-20 Suppressed .223 rifle. Natasha slings her NR-20 and brings out two 9mm Silenced pistols.
Walking towards the door Eric punches in the code. A lock sound confirms the code and they walk in. The Palace was dark, only the minor sounds of footsteps could be heard, which by Eric's estimate were far off in the West Wing. Moving silently they made their way to the Grand Office, were the Emperor was to be working hard. On the way to the Grand Office the duo encountered a patrol of five men. They quickly silenced them and moved along. Another patrol was found and again was silenced. Finally nearring to the Grand Office they encounter the guards of the Grand Office, ten men guarded the door, half were sleeping.
Eric brought up his rifle, and relaxed his breathing. Turning the corner quickly he unloads a barrage onto the guards, their bodies shake heavily, and fall. One round misses it's mark and hits the door to the Grand Office. Eric reloads his magazine, and cursed his error. They waited five more minutes before approaching the Emperor's door.
The Emperor had indeed heard the round get lodged in his door. Being the careful man that he is he takes out the two H&K 40mm USP pistols he has in all of his rooms. He also takes out several magazines. Turning off his lights the emperor crouched behind his desk, waiting for whoever was behind the door.
The door openned, and something came out towards the emperor. The emperor fires six shots at the moving target. However when the moving stopped he saw that he had shot one of the dead guards, tapped to a chair, and rolled in. In both of his hands lay two smoke grenades. They erupt and a bellow of smoke rrose out of them. The Emperor returned to his desk and waited.
Natasha and Eric put on their Infrare Red Goggles, and openned the door, walking in as quiet as they could. A barrage of gunfire came their way, as the Emperor's pistols blasted towards the direction of the muffled footsteps. Natasha reacts quickly and puts two bullets into the Emperor's elbows. Eric drops his NR-20, and draws out a large 10mm pistol, and puts five into the Emperor's chest.
The Emperor stands for several seconds before he collapses on his tattered chair, his pistols dropping at his feet. The smoke cleared to reveal Eric and Natasha not standing 10 yards from the Emperor. The Emperor continued to cough up blood.
The Strakhov's debated over what to do next, both came to an agreement of what to do. And as Eric approached the Emperor, Natasha covered the door waiting for guards. Eric knelt down and met eye to eye to the Emperor.
"Hello Emperor..."

Natasha and Eric stepped back. Natasha got her 44 Magnum revolver, while Eric reloaded his 10mm. From 5 yards out they cocked their pistols, and took aim. The first two shots from both pistols ripped the Emperor's head into shreds, as blood, flesh, and brain matter splashed against the wall. Another 4 shots to the body tore huge holes in his stomache region.
Eric turned to his sister.
"We have to get out of here. Let's move out to the side door, that's the most excessable."
She nodded. Both brought out their NR-20 rifles, and loaded a fresh magazine. Almost immediately a crowd of guards came rushing through the corner were the Strakhov's were no more than 10 minutes ago. The mass of guards were put down with the accurate shooting of the Strakhov's. Climbing over the bodies they run towards the side doors. Along the way they encounter a large group of soldiers, roughly a platoon size of 40 men. They immediately send a barrage of bullets the soldiers way, dropping half of them. Seeking cover from a corner they load their last magazine.
Popping out of the corner they kill the remaining soldiers and run down the hall were the Dining Room of the East Wing is, and were the door to the outside was located. As the turned the corner to their freedom what seemed like an entire company was just standing around. Evidently the guards had blocked all access to the city. Firing their last magazine the duo takes cover behind the hard granite wall. Eric takes out a grenade and laucnches it down to stairs towards the group of soldiers. Hearing the explosion he takes out one more and does the same.
Eric and Natasha both grab two 10mm pistols each. They exchange gunfire with the guards and drop nearly half of them. Reloading their last 10mm magazine the two look at each other, doubtfully.
They turned the corner and spent their last magazine. Down to four 9mm and 2 .22 magazines each ammunition was becoming a problem. After another exchange of gunfire and the spending of their last 9mm magazine Eric turns to Natasha.
"Go and get us two Assualt rifles each. You should find plently down the hall. Now hurry."
Natasha took off, and returned later with 4 G-36C rifles with a 100 round drum. He smiled as he took to the rifle, and slinged the other. Nodding he turned the corner and began running down the stairs, firing endlessly he dropped every guard he saw, Natasha behind him cleaned up anyone he missed. In the end blood, and flesh was littered across the room. They quickly ran outside, and jumped the brick fence. They ran half a mile to the safe zone, where they were met with the Chairman who congratulated them on a job well done.

"Hello, this is Jim Wartz and I'm standing right in front of the Imperial Palace were 6 hours ago a fierce fire fight broke out between the Army Guards, and an estimated 100 man assasination squad. Unfortuantely the Emperor was killed in the thick of battle, apparently killing four dozen fighters before falling. The Army Guards fought endlessly to protect the body of our Emperor, and after losing a great deal of men managed to drag the body to the Emperor's office, were the remaining guard's set a defensive position. The following firefight killed almost all of the guards. The assasination force then slowly gathered it's killed and wounded and left the palace.
It is unknown who ordered the attack on our great emperor, but his son Alec promises swift action to elimante the killers of his father."

The death of the Emperor hit the nation hard. Tens of thousands gathered for ceremonies all around the nation. An estimated 4 Million people gathered for his grand funeral, being place in a large tomb with golden doors, and elaborately design in the inside. Alec Takenski watched on as the five generals slowly dropped their leader into the hole in the tomb. He turned to leave for his limo, which took nearly an hour to get to. Climbing inside he order the driver to take him to the palace, where he will make the announcement.
Walking in to the palace he salutes the guards, and quickly walks to his office. He grabs a piece of paper and writes his message quickly on it. Walking out of his office he turns to a guard on duty.
"Deliver this to all major news stations in the nation. Go quickly."
The guard runs to the communication room where the message is delivered. It reads.
"Hello and good day people of teh Ninjas. I know many of you are saddened by the loss of our great leader and emperor. But we must not let the death of one affect us all. I have seen the holes in our government, and I wish to fix these problems which my father did not see. I wish to form a Council of 12, one which can assist me and advise me on regulating and controlling my government. I will ,of course, remain Emperor, but the other council members can also be able to decide on important issues.
It is unclear to me who I shall choose to join this council but I promise only the most intelligent and those who have great leadeership skills will be chosen. Thank you and good day."
The message was televised throughout the nation. Many took it as a board of advisers, but some conspiracy theorists believe there's something more behind this "Council of 12".

Public outrage in the South was the first reaction after hearing the making of the Council of 12. Being that 6 members were CEOs further increased the rage against Emperor Alec Takenski. Public speakers yelled insults to the emperor, about he was taking money away from the people, and giving it to big CEO hot shots. People listenned and people acted. Riots resulted in the South. Several residences of the Governor were destroyed. Stones were thrown at riot police, the whole thing was a mess.
Several bands of rebellions took place in the south. The Free People's Cause, People's Rights Movement and the People's Chance Movement were the most violent and powerful. Within days of their formation over a dozen armouries were attacked, none were captured, but 9 Homeland Soldiers were killed. Riots became extremely violent as 20 officers were killed as an average per riot. An estimated 60,000 people supported each rebel group. The situation was collapsing.
Under the order of the Council martial law was declared. Twelve Infantry, Five Mechanized, and two Armoured Divisions were deployed to the south to seek out the rebels and silence them. Curfews were established, and rewards were given for information relating to the rebellion. In all over 350,000 soldiers were called up. Homeland Corp I, II, III, were called up adding an additional 150,000. The rebels with only 60,000 members each were out manned and out gunned. Despite these precautions added by the emperor the numbers of rebellious citizens in the South slowly increased.

Alari Armoury; Waltz Province; South District
A two man group of HomeGuard soldiers quietly guard the entrance to the large Alari Armoury. A full company of 120 soldiers guarded the facility, most asleep. One of the soldiers checks his watch.
"It's 2:40. Too damn early for anyone to do anything."
The other guard snickers a little.
"Yeah, too damn cold for anyone to do anything."
Suddenly out of seemingly nowhere a LAW rips through the front door, killing both guards. A rush of men jump from the bushes and run towards the door. By this time the 40 strong late night guards had heard the explosion. They alert the others before running towards the entrance.
According to doctrine a full quarter of the guards are to be left guarding the armoury itself, setting up a defensive position with machine guns. The massive group of armed men rushed through the building. The guards had split into two groups and guarded the 2 hallways leading to the armoury. The hallways were 100 meters long, a perfect killing zone.
The men stood quietly taking cover behind the walls. Only the loud pounding of feet could be heard. And suddenly the armed mob turned the corner. Immediately they were met with fire from the soldiers AR-78 Flashback rifles. The heavy .270 round in automatic fire mode downed hundreds of rebels. The mob still charged foward however. Armed with pistols, and hunting rifles they returned fire.
Several grenades down the hall killed nearly two dozen rebels. The guards began running out of ammunition. The continued automatic fire had already spent 3 magazines, of the 5 given. Some already had their pistols drawn. Captain Morris, leader of the garrison looked behind him as he saw the other team was facing some difficulty too. He loaded his last magazine and began firing in bursts.
The massive heap of bodies was nearly overflowing the hallway. The rebels sluggishly stepped over the dead bodies, often tripping. A pistol shot downed a guard just to the Captain's right. Blood was oozing out of his eye. The Captain took his ammunition and continued fighting.
Despite killing over a 200 rebels they continued to surge foward. They got closer and closer to the front line. The soldiers were killing rebels nearly 20 meters away. Suddenly a loud bang echoed behind the Captain. A well placed RPG had taken out a considerable amount of guards at the other hallway. The Captain sent 20 men to assist in holding the line, and taking the wounded and killed to the armoury.
Most of the men were now down to pistols. Some managed to get two from dead soldiers. The Captain looked behind him. The line was nearly breaking. He shouted into his radio.
"All drop back to armoury, standard cover formation."
Immediately the men dropped back, firing to keep the enemy of their back. The rebels killed nearly 5 more guards as they reached the armoury. The large armoury was surrounded by a steel metal cage, with many firing ports. The 30 guards sent to hold, and fortify the armoury setup several machine gun nests, and had LAWs, grenades, and rifles at the ready.
As soon as the last man jumped into the armoury, and the steel doors were closed, a series of LAW's streaked towards the rebels. The Captain estimate that took out 50. Looking around the Captain saw many of his soldiers wounded, taking a count he figured 21 were dead, and 39 more wounded. He had 60 fit soldiers to fight.
By this time the Captain had picked up a reserve AR-78 Flashback. He loaded a magazine and began firing. After an intense 20 minute fire fight the rebels stopped their attack.
All the soldiers stood at their positions quietly waiting for the enemy to make a move. Suddenly several men popped from the corners and threw 36 hand made explosives. The shrapnel of nails, and pieces of metal pierced through the bodies of the soldiers. The Captain himself was hit in the shoulder. By this the rebels had come foward again. Rifles and pistols blarring. His soldiers were confused, and wounded. The front 200 of the rebel mob fell from the machine guns and rifle fire. With only 19 men left fit to fight the garrison was overwhelmed.
The Captain was the last fighter to go down. Having two AR-78 rifles in both hands he unleashed an intense barrage of gunfire which brought down several dozen rebels. A volley of rebel fire brought him down as he received numerous pistol and rifle shots to his stomach. Falling down on his face he picks up his pistol. He positioned himself right in front of the large steel metal door. The first target he saw he shot in the head. The next rebel shot the captain in his chest, with a heavy .444 hunting rifle round.
The captain dropped his pistol and turned his head. The rebel who shot him stood over him. He kicked the Captain and made him face him. The rebel brought the rifle mere inches from his face. Then a loud bang ended the Captain as his head and brain matter painted the floor.

This is outrageous! the Emperor Murdered!
The Northern Imperial Council had amassed in The Council Chamber
"what do we do?"
The Imperial General Jon Benkestok, who also acts as emperor quickly decided that force of arms was the right way to deal with this
"we send troops to the southern regions, to support the rebels. if we gain a foothold in this nation, we have a secure staging area for further invasions."
"send 21st, 22nd and 23rd Abrams Division, 5 infantry Divisions, 2 Heli squadrons, 3 artillery Batteries, 1 MLRS Unit, 3 Mech Divisions plus 4 DEO spec ops battalions."
The troops, numbering approximately 450 Abrams, 50000 Infantry Units, 50 Hind attack chopppers, 450 Artillery Cannons, 40 MLRS, 450 BMP-1 plus special forces entered through the south, and quickly advanced towards the southern district. they met no resistance until they were met by national troops.

Tarata City; Population 12 Million
For almost 2 weeks straight the rebels had become inactive. Minor demonstrations and riots occurred but nothing serious. No gun battles, no massive attacks on military installations just silence.
Captain Howard Miles, leader of the 5th Company of the 7th Mechanized Infantry Division peered out of his sandbag defensive position. Nothing. He looked around, viewing the large buildings around him. The small fortification was out of place, among the large office buildings and apartments. Place on the sidewalk of an intersection his company was in charge of defending, and protecting the Corporate assets in his area, which are only four buildings.
The small fortification itself could accomadate all of the Captain's 120 men, and housed six machine guns.
"Captain, this is patrol White Wolf we have a large riot occuring in Warlfe Street. They are advancing towards us request orders."
The Captain thought for a moment. White Wolf patrol was a heavily armed 24 man squad, armed with both lethal and non-lethal weaponry.
"Stand ground White Wolf. Launch tear gas at 200 to 250 meters. Load in rubber bullets if they persist."
The Captain looked out through the intersection again. Not one person was on the streets due to curefew. Atleast some people listened to the new emperor.
"Sir, some of the rioters are armed. We are receiving rifle fire, 1 man wounded request orders."
"Order the marksman to correctly identify armed targets and elimante them. Continue using the tear gas."
The situation seemed to be escalating. Almost after receiving White Wolf's message the leading lieutenant called in again.
"Receiving intense fire, RPGs, machine guns... Five wounded 1 killed, request assistance immediately. Riot within 200 meters."
"Engage rioters with lethal weapons. Reinforcments inbound, ETA 12 minutes."
The Captain looked seeing who he could send to assist the patrol.
"Lieutenant Fox, get your platoon ready you're going to assist patrol white wolf. Take the Humvees...Go."
The 42 man platoon quickly gathered their equipment. Boarding the Humvees they quickly took off. They arrived at the squad in only 8 minutes. The .50 caliber machine guns on the vehicales quickly went to work against the Rebel Mob.
This time they scattered, but for good they didn't know. The squad had taken heavy casualties, 6 dead 11 wounded.
This was the first skirmish fought, for the battle that will be known as the Battle For Tarata.

Tarata
Captain Miles woke to the sound of the Comany's radio, waking up from his nap he looked at the intelligence officer.
"Anything new Pat?"
"As a matter of fact sir the early morning patrol has reported minor resistance in the International District. They have disengaged and are returning with 1 wounded."
The Captain nodded and looked around the group of soldiers sleeping on one side of the shaby defensive fortification. The Captain was about to doze off again when the radio came back on. He couldn't fully hear what was going on, but he definetly heard gun shots in the backround.
"Uhh, Captain. Early Morning Patrol is receiving heavy fire from truck mounted Machine guns and RPGs. Five wounded."
Immediately the Captain walked to the officer and stood behind him.
"Order them to return back. I'll set up the necesarry defenses here."
Before he could give out orders the radio came one once again.
"This is patrol Early Morning 2. Receiving heavy fire from large mob. Heavily armed. We have 2 killed and 5 wounded. We request immediate assistance."
The Captain took the radio device and spoke.
"This is the Captain, board your HUmvees and return to base immediately. What's your location."
"We're 2 clicks away. Enemy pursuing."
The Captain dropped the radio and ordered all of his men up. They all armed the machine guns and set up LAWs on hand. Each man grabbed his SR-90A1 rifle and crouched behind the sandbag wall. Rifle sounds could be heard now it must be the truck mounted machine guns thought the Captain. They continued to grow louder and louder.
Suddenly the 6 Humvees turned the corner fast to the Captain's right. Followed right behind them were nearly 12 trucks mounted with armed men in the back and a 7.62 machine gun.
The Captain selected semi-automatic fire and began engaging the trucks. A volley of LAWs destroy 6 trucks, and another 4 were destroyed by machine guns. The survivors of the crash were easily killed by the soldier's rifles. The last 2 trucks turned and ran. The soldiers from Early Morning Patrol 1 setup their Humvees in a defensive position. The Machine Gunner and two support riflemen remained inside each Humvee while the others left and joined the ranks behind the sandbag walls.
Now right in front of the Captain the other 6 Humvees came speeding towards them. These were the soldiers of Early Morning Patrol 2. They followed the same procedure as the others, establishing their Humvees in a defensive posture.
Lieutenant Higgs of Early Morning Patrol 2 jumped next to the Captain.
"Sir, they're right behind us. Massive mob, huge, must of been atleast 20,000. Suggest you call in some air."
He nodded and looked to his communications officer who nodded in return. The massive mob of what the Lieutenant had spoke of turned the corner in front of the Captain, only 800 meters away.
The soldiers aimed carefully and began picking off single rebels with their scopes. The machine guns then went to work in small bursts. Despite this the rebels continued, substaining over 600 casualties. At 400 meters the rebels began returning fire. The immense amount of rifle fire landed hard on the fortifications, but did not penetrate. The rebels were loosing many men now. The machine guns quickened their fire rate a little, dropping even more rebel fighters. With air support due to arrive in 20 minutes, it seemed like all the rebels would be dead by then.
Suddenly the massive formation stopped at 200 meters. A row of RPGers lined up. The Captains eyes widdened as they loaded in the RPG. He switched to automatic fire and began spraying the line of RPGers. Before he knew it an immense amount of RPGs were bearing down on their position. Half missed, half hit the fortification. The Captain himself was thrown from his position, he found himself 10 meters from where he was moments before. He looked around and saw nearly 3/4 of his men on the ground bleeding heavily. The sandbags were all over, leaving an immense gap in the defenses. The Captain attempted to rally the remaining men he had.
They took their positions and began firing in bursts towards the enemy. The 12 Humvees were all hit, all destroyed. The heavy .50 Machine gun emplacments in the fortifcations were gone. Only two dozen LAWs, and the soldiers rifles remained. The Captain ordered all of his men to pickup a LAW, and prepare it to fire. Once this was done they all fired simultaneously, killing the front line of rebels. They then went back to their rifles.
Ammunition was not a problem, the Captain himself had gathered over 21 magazines for himself. The enemy were now bearing down on them. The Captain began using his upper .45 barrel along with his 6.5mm barrel raining down a devastating amount of fire. Suddenly from both sides of his flanks over 30 trunks armed with machine guns came speeding around the corners. The Captain turned to see four of his men get pelted by heavy machine gun rounds, their bodies shaking heavily as the rounds hit.
The rebels kept firing their own rifles which were getting increasingly effective. The Captain grabbed another SR-90 and slapped in a magazine. With two rifles in both hands he began firing and any enemy he saw. The enemy was 50 meters away. The Captain didn't realize his men were all dead, nor did he realize that he was shot in his arm.
Suddenly he fell down to his knees as he felt a deep piercing hot pain in his chest. Looking down he sees blood. Struggling to bring the arm up holding his rifle he is shot again, this time with a .50 caliber bullet to his shoulder which nearly explodes his socket. He falls down in pain. Screaming he attempts to grab his USP. Taking the safety off he shoots the first five rebels he sees. Looking around for support he finally realises he's alone.
He sees the radio and crawles toward it. He turns and drops five more guards, and reloads a magazine. The Captain reaches the radio set, and sets the buttons to the Command Channel. He stutters as he speaks trying to overcome the pain.
"Poi..nt...Ri..ley... Shatttered...Spear."
He turns away from the radio and successfuly gets up. With his pistol in his hand he limps toward the enemy mob. Immediately 88 bullets hit his body, half of those hitting his chest. He falls down as the bullets continue to hit his body. By this time he realises he has failed. Slowly he slips away. His eyes turn dark as the final bullet penetrates his head. Point Riley was destroyed.

Army Command; 7th Mechanized Division; Tarata City
"No enemy rebels have been found sir."
"Are you certain?"
"Yes sir, I see a good amount of KIA friendlies, no sign of rebels anywhere."
"Very well, scan the area 1 more time and return to base."
The General slammed his hand agains this desk. Point Riley was a vital location. It sealed off the economic sector of the city to the living quarters. This was bad news. Immediately after hearing the Shattered Spear Order, a full battalion was deployed to the Point Riley location. It would take sometime but the area would been in their hands soon. A young Colonel walks in and salutes. The General motions him to sit down.
"Good day Colonel Himms. What news do you bring?"
"Well General Brings, Army Intel has told me that a large concentration of rebels are attempting to take the city by force. This is evident to me, because all of the patrols that have been sent to the the city itself have all been attacked. Intel suggests atleast a 50,000 armed group."
"I see... Why Tarata? Why not Pliphem?"
"Tarata is located directly in the center of the Southern District, taking it would serve as a rebel communications center, and command area."
"Interesting, what do you suggest I do."
"I would suggest a large reinforcment call for about another division. Then forcfully clear the city, house by house of rebels, and weapons."
"Ridiculous. I would never order such a thing. We are one of the most potent divisions in the Army yet you request you seek help of an additional division. We can keep the rebels in our sector in check, this I know. And if the rebels sought the city they would of attack all 10 of our fortified areas. Only 1 was attacked. Any other news?"
"No sir."
"Good, I want you to command the Rapid Attack Brigade that will be used against any new rebel attacks. No leave."
The colonel left the office sightly upset, but still happy the general trusted him to command the new RA Brigade.

Tarata City
A convoy of Humvees, 8 total, were moving down Main Street, heading to re-supply a company near Sector B of the city. The convoy carried mostly ammunition and medical supplies. Recent rebel attacks against that position had worn them out and depleted their ammunition supply. Commander of the convoy was Lieutenant Farkin, a recent graduate of the Acadmeny.
The entire city was empty. Not a single person was to be found. The lead humvee turns a corner and then quickly stops. The Lieutenant who is in the middile of the convoy angrily gets his radio.
"Why have we stopped?"
"Sir, roadblock up ahead. Not sure what to do."
"Drive through the damn thing. These things are armoured reinforced. Now get going."
Before the Humvee driver could press down on the accelerator, the Humvee receives a direct hit to the body, igniting the munitions it carried. A brilliant flash, and then the Humvee was in the air. Suddenly more rockets came from the windows of the high rise buildings. Before the attack could be reported it was over. RPGs hit every signle Humvee. The Lieutenant was the only survivor, being blown out of his Humvee when the RPG hit. His half-burnt body lay leaning against the door of a store.
He was in complete disarray. The rebel attackers swarm the Humvees, pulling the bodies out and shooting the soldiers in the head. One rebel saw the Lieutenant laying out on the pavement. Walking towards him fires a long burst to the head, five bullets in total ripped through his skull.
Tarata City; West Side
Point Tiger was the most vital fortified intersection in the entire city. The fortification lay right in the the middile of the intersection, covering most of the intersections area. It boasts 15 machine gun positions, two layers of sandbag defensive walls, and housed and support 2 Mechanized Companies. 280 men total, all under command of Major Glenn Eastworld. The position had taken some enemy fire early in the week but had received little if not any afterwards. The fortification was one of the most heavily armed areas, with two full steel reinforced mobile armouries, housing LAWs, machine guns, explosives and rifles. If the rebels needed to take control fo Tarata, this position would have to be taken.
Major Eastworld looked out into the deserted streets. He got this feeling deep inside of him, like he was going to be sick. Being a veteran officer he knew what this feeling was. He ordered all patrols back to base, and ordered the installation of two more machine gun ports. The rebels are coming.

Tarata City; Point Tiger
All 240 soldiers of the two companies under the command of Major Eastworld reported into the camp. No enemy activity was reported, but the Major knew they would come. His attempts to convince his higher commanders however failed. He would be by himself with no assistance.
Suddenly a barrage of mortars land into the camp, killing several soldiers. The Major looked around and saw the next barrage come in. The mortars were positioned on a short 3 story building. Immediately he ordered his machine gunners to begin spraying the rooftop. Making the spotters of the mortars duck down. He then ordered his four Marksman into four buildings around their position. From that position they would be able to direct information to the Major and kill rebel leaders. The machine gun fire distracted the mortar team, giving the snipers ample time to get a position in the building. Within minutes the mortar team was dead.
Specialist Thomas Hartwork peered through his telescopic 7mm Magnum bolt-action rifle. The 10x scope gave him a clear picture of the enemy rebel activity down the street from the Major. He quickly radioed in.
"Major, this is Hartwork, I have atleast 10,000 rebels coming through at your three down Teller Street. I have a shot at them. They're 1200 meters away."
"10,000 are you sure?"
"Uhh, make that 12,000 and increasing. They're pouring out of everywhere. Suggest your strengthen that side immediately sir. If I could get a squad and a machine gun team up here that would be great."
"Consider it done. I'm reinforcing that side as you direted. Take your shots."
The sniper went to action and began dropping targets. Meanwhile the Major was quickly ordering soldiers to setup more machine guns and automatic grenade launcher positions.
The machine gun team reached Hartwork 10 minutes after receiving the order. They carried a heavy 20mm cannon. The sniper smiled as he saw them bring it up. The squad too had 2 automatic riflemen, with a 7.62mm machine gun. At 750 meters, both the soldiers on the ground and those in the high rise buildings began to fire.
The rebels didn't expect a solid position in the high rise building. Already dozens were dying every second due to machine gun fire. The heavy 20mm round kicked up asphalt, and tore pieces of human flesh. At 600 meters the order was given to begin firing.
Major Eastworld was immediately under intense rifle fire. In his entire 10 years in the Military this was the most intense rifle fire he had ever encountered. His men dropped like flies, being hit with an average of 35 bullets each. Still they held their ground. The Machine guns were providing devastating firepower as the enemy began to continously drop. Light 60mm mortars also added to the devastation. The Major began to wonder if the enemy would ever stop.
At 500 meters the enemy was still advancing. The squad and sniper team in the high rise building was proving to be a vital asset. Rebel soldiers fell by the dozens at their hands. The Major's men were getting low on ammunition. The Major set three men to constantly go on ammunition runs to the armouries behind the lines. The men soon had more than enough ammunition to go around.
The rebels began forming a firing line. The Major knew what was coming and ordered all his machine gunners to target the rebels at the front of the lines. He knew a large and devastating RPG attak was underway and he had to stop it. The soldiers began picking off each RPGer with a headshot one by one. Soon the plan was aborted and the rebels bullrushed the front lines.
At 200 meters the rifle fire coming from the rebels was immense. Several RPGs hit several parts of the sandbag wall, blowing it apart. Rebel machine gun fire brought down nearly 24 soldiers as they tried to repair the wall. Seeing the situation getting worse the Major called in fire support through his radio.
"Base this is Point Tiger Outpost. We have heavy enemy rebel attack against us, require immediate support."
"Confirmed, flight of Apaches are inbound. ETA is 8 minutes."
The Major turned back to the battlefield, shooting six more rebels before reloading his magazine.
The 240 Ninjian garrison had taken 64 KIAs, and 120 WIA. Still most of the wounded continued fighting, seeing how grave the situation was becoming.

Point Tiger
A stream of Rebel RPGs struck the high rise fortified building, missing the windows barely. The squad located in that building had 1 20mm cannon, 2 .50 machine guns and 3 7.62mm machine guns. That location was by far dealing out the most casualties. The rebels were beginning to thin out.
At 100 meters, the rebels began to charge foward at the main line. Soldiers switched their fires to automatic fire and began putting five bullets into every rebel they could aim their sights on. Automatic Grenade launchers killled and wounded a large chunk of the rebel line as they surged foward. Grenades were thrown numerous times, sending out deadly shrapnel towards the rebels. The rebel's entire line began collpasing.
Finally the 8 AH-64I apaches arrived. The eight began a strafing run with their 30mm cannon, killing many rebels. Then each launched 8 missiles towards the enemy for a total of 64 missiles. These missiles were purley Anti-Personel, and contained over a hundred large BBs. They exploded roughly 5 meters over the intended target. After this the rebels turned and ran.
The Major ordered the survivors to board their Humvees. A total of 32 Humvees were boarded, leaving the remaining 18 at the outpost. Moving at top speed they intended to chase the rebels out of their section. The Apaches above continued to rain hell upon the fleeing enemy, killing atleast 200 on the run. The Humvees tracked down and killed around 102 rebel fighters.
The total tally of the fight stands at:
240 Ninjian soldiers
-82 KIA
-131 WIA (76 still able to fight after receiving wounds)
Total of 15,000 rebels
-6,210 KIA
-5,874 WIA
-403 Captured

Underground Tarata; Secret Rebel Commander Center
The three rebel commanders sit together at a large oval table. The Television is on, showing the battle results so far. Commander Eric Klem, leader of the Free People's Cause, shouted loudly as he watched.
"The Imperial soldiers are getting more knowledgable of our tactics, they're strengthening their positions in the city. In Hambachi, and Yaq, however, my scouts say that they have killed over 200 soldiers in each city. Victory in those towns are near."
Commander Victor Brunschi, leader of the People's Rights Movement, looked over at the aged commander.
"Oh yes? Did they tell you how many casualties they received?... No? My scouts in the area report that in Hambachi your fighters received over 11,000 casualties, and in Yaq, over 14,000. Now tell me did your scouts say tell you that?"
Commander Alexander Tarriff looked at the two Commanders. They were young in their early forties, too young to lead a large force into battle. Tarriff was the leader of the People's Chance Movement, the most radical and dangerous rebellious group in teh Ninjas.
"Gentlemen, calm yourselves down. None of us are doing splendidly. I know, Brunschi, that you lost 12,000 soldiers in the battle for Point Tiger, a severe loss. We must gather or resources together, not quarrel who is succeeding in the mission."
The two commanders looked at the vetern Tarriff. He was in his early 60's, and was a colonel in the military, before retirring. After the Great Emperor's death, and the formation of the Council of 12, Tarriff gathered a group of fighters for the cause of bringing CEO corrpution down and to restore the once great teh Ninjas.
All of this was becoming increasingly difficult for the three commanders. Roughly a dozen successful assualts on armouries providied them with all the ammunition they needed. They had mortars, RPGs, Machine guns, rifles, nearly everything. Despite this the professional training of the military had been taking a serious toll on the rebels numbers.
Finally Commander Klem spoke again.
"And what happens if one of the fighters captured reveals this location as our most vital command center?"
Tarriff spoke first before Brunschi could answer.
"Then we will dig down and all fighters will be called to our assistance. Even if this location is found we still have nearly half a dozen more command centers held by our forces."
Their was silence in the room. After several minutes Commander Brunschi spoke.
"Commandants. My lines are thining. I do not know about yours, but my numbers are down nearly 20 to 30 percent. Many of my fighters have been killed. Nearly 32,000 fighters killed. We must tried spreading our cause to the Central, West, East, and North Region. Every Province must be infected with our cause."
Tarriff spoke again.
"Impossible. I know the full extent of the Imperial Military. Any attempt to break the military blockade will result in failure. What we must do is plan more thoroughly our attacks. And when we attack, we attack in numbers. The attack on Point Tiger was flawed for several reasons. Only 16,000 fighters took part in attacking an outpost with one of the most skilled officers in the military, the two companies attached took part in several wars. And, they had a superior position. The Apaches merely broke the final string.
As for our next attack Point Panther is the most vital position we could take. My sources say it has four mobile armouries, and roughly a small battalion of 900, under the command of a Lt.Colonel Harold Brooks, a veteran of the 1st Great War, the Mint Crisp Wars, and of the Rebellion of 1999. He will be a handful. Also the Rapid Assualt Battalion will be in reach of the position. To my knowledge they would be able to strike in 30 to 40 minutes after receiving the report of attack. I can contribute 10,000 of my veteran fighters."
Brunschi took a sip of water and spoke.
"The People's Rights Movement will contribute 11,000 fighters."
Commander Klem took a moment to think.
"The Free People's Cause will contribute 13,400 fighters."
Tarriff slowly nodded.
"So it is done. Gather your men. The attack commences in five days. In the meantime harass various other Outposts in the city. Do not attack Point Panther at any cost. Our true motive must not be discovered. Now go."
The two commanders left the command center leaving Commander Tarriff. Tarriff sipped his rum, imagining the great battle come.

The rebel leaders had gathered their enormous army. Over 35,000 soldiers stood at the ready to take the key area that Point Panther protected. Moving through the subway system the large rebel army had gathered all supplies needed and were ready to surface and engage the Imperial Soldiers. The garrison had Infantry Combat Vehicales and Tanks. This would be a problem for the rebel force, but with sufficient RPGs and LAWs lobbed it's way the rebels were confident in victory.
Now the rebel army began making it's way out of the subway station. The Imperial Outpost was only 2 miles away, and they needed to avoid detection by aircraft.
Point Panther was the most heavily defended outpost in the entire city. With over 22 permanent machine guns and sufficient housing and armour to hold out against an attacker for several days. Commanded by a prestigious general and garrisoned by a veteran battalion the outpost would be the most difficult attack the rebels would have to make.

A small team of 36 rebel fighters armed with LAWs and Stingers made their way to the front of the line. They ran to get a long distance away from the army. The role of these fighters were to destroy and kill Imperial positions in the buildings, using the Heat seeking missiles to target heaters or human body heat. The bitter cold made this task difficult as they manuevered themselves. It was early in the morning and the soldiers wouldn't expect a thing.
Major Eastworld was manning his position, near the rear of the outpost. He was busy signing orders and military matters when he heard a swoosh sound. Dropping his pen he looked up to see a streak of missiles coming towards his position. He grabbed his rifle and ducked down. A loud crash followed by an explosion was heard. He turned to see the fortified positions he had set up, to be completely destroyed. A large gaping hole was in the place of were a squad and a machine gun team was located. Turning again towards were the missiles came from a volley of RPGs came his way. He ducked as the RPGs impacted the sandbag wall and the building behind them. Before he could bring up his sight they were gone.
By this time the entire battalion was awake. No sooner than 15 minutes after the attack, a marksman reported a mob heading the Major's way.
"Sir, enemy formation coming at you head on. Numbers are somewhere around 20,000. Most likely more. Distance is 1500 meters."
After hearing the report the Major immediately set up a strong defensive line. Over 2/3 of the company was ordered to maintain and hold this line while the others secured the rear and sides. At 1000 meters both sides began firing. The Major's men began engaging with single shot selection. The scope mounted on the rifle proved useful as they brought down dozen of enemy rebels. The rebels in turn began returning unaimed fire. RPGs were also sent towards the soldiers way. Imperial machine gun fire blasted at the rebels as they approached closer.
The rebel army began a slow jog, still firing from the hip towards the enemy. At 900 meters machine gunners at the front stopped to fire an aimed volley towards the Imperial soldiers. The soldiers aim was highly accurate, bringing down nearly 100 rebel fighters. The army reached 800 meters. Imperial fire increased. Heavy T-7 Giglamesh MBTs, Pachis IFVs, and SIV-25 APCs began firing. This proved to be extremely vital. Heavy 155mm ETC rounds tore chunks of the enemy's line. 60mm ETC rounds from the Pachis blew whole platoons into ash, and 30mm ETC rounds from the Strakhov's (SIV-25) tore whole bodies in half.
A immense volley of over 200 RPGs were launched by the rebels as they increased their pace. At 650 meters the infantry battle was becoming intense. Rebel fighters blew chunks out of the sandbag walls and many Imperial soldiers fell.
The Major was motivating his soldiers, yelling and firing as he did so. He was nearly deaf now, due to the rifle fire and tank fire, no more than 100 meters away from him. At nearly 500 meters the enemy began a charge. Yelling nearly drowned out the rifle fire. Firing from the hips the rebels began killing soldiers left and right. Six soldiers to the Major's left were killed nearly simulatenously. A machine gun nest of 8 soldiers were evaporated as a RPG hit. 81mm Mortars began raining down hell on them. This was war he thought, as he reloaded his magazine. His rifle was at automatic fire, downing almost 1 rebel for every 3 bullets. A nearby exploding RPG knocked him off balance, sending him to the ground. He quickly got up firing at the advancing enemy. Seeing a radio he quickly grabs it.
"This is outpost Panther, Bronze Shield, I repeat Bronze Shield."
He dropped the radio as a 155 round thundered toward the enemy. Rebels were thrown into the air from the impact of the heavy round. The Major hoped that the reinforcments would arrive.
Bronze Shield was the key word to activate the Rapid Response Battalion, a group of 1,000 soldiers with Strakhov's and Pachis IFVs. The battalion needed 40 minutes to get full weapons loadout for the battle.
The Major downed another soldier. The enemy was at 470 meters now. The only thing keeping them alive was their armoured support. Suddenly a missile streaked towards a Strakhov and destroyed it. The nearby explosion killed 8 soldiers and wounded 27. The Major looked up in astonishment. Only the NM-22, a domestic developed HAW could destroy the Strakhov. The rebels must of gotten a small cache after taking some Armouries.
The Major returned to the battle. Taking aim with his rifle he dropped an entire machine gun squad. As he was reloading his rifle he is hit three times with a 7.62mm fast-firing Vulcan Gatling Gun. The fast speed and hitting power of the shot spun him before he fell. He received a shoulder wound and two leg wounds. All were minor. The same couldn't be said for a squad of 12 men in front of him. The squad leader was hit over two dozen times, his body shook heavily as he lay dead on the floor. With the squad's perimeter open the Major took their position. He took two rifles in both hands and rested it on the sandbag wall, dropping 30 rebels.
He dropped a rifle and took his. Walking along the lines he tries to install confidence in his men as bullets whiz by their ear. The rebels were at 300 meters, and the Major estimated he was down 320 men. The wounded continued to fight, though less effectively as the rest of the soldiers. Rebels bullets began peppering the sandbag walls lodging thousands of rounds. Imperial machine guns went firing non-stop, tanks continued to blow huge amount of rebels into the sky.
Yet despite this, at 100 meters the rebels went into a full out sprint. Every attempt was made to stop them, tank fired machine guns and the APCs, and IFVs loaded in anti-personel rounds. The first rebel to reach the sandbag wall was flipped over by a soldier who armed his rifle with a bayonet. The soldiers began using the dual fire mechanism the SR-90 had. .45 and 6.5mm rounds hit the enemies hard, and they fell in great numbers. This wasn't enough and soon the soldiers where in hand to hand combat. The Imperial Soldiers had attached bayonets to their rifles, and had superior hand to hand combat training. They were severly out-numbered however. The line would fall if help didn't arrive soon.

OOC: I don't know. I've been planning this RP for awhile, I'll let you know though.
The Major had his SR-90 in dual automatic fire mode. He sprayed all around him dropping dozens of rebels. A rebel charged towards him with a pistol. Using his training the Major blocks a punch and stabs the rebel in the gut. He fired one round into his gut and let the rebel drop dead. He fired several more shots before his magazine was empty. The Major throws it a nearby rebel and draws his pistol. A Strakhov was being surrounded by a rebel group. Some jumped on top trying to get the hatch open. Aiming his sights he drops four rebels, and then reloads. He fires several more times dropping six more rebels.
Suddenly a large amount of Rebel Improvised Grenades landed near the remaining Imperial soldiers. The explosion from the device knocked the Major of his feet. He landed hard on the ground, loosing his grip on his pistol. He blacked out for several seconds before he awakened to the battle. Feeling for a firearm he grips his hand around the handle of a SR-90 with a 50 round primary rifle drum. He gets up and begans shooting any visible rebel. He dropped dozens before he felt a slight pain in his shoulder. The pain gradually got worse. He turned to see a knife lodged in his shoulder near his gunshot wound. He takes out the knife and throws it a nearby rebel. The rebel drops down dead. By this time the Major was feeling light headed. He had lost a lot of blood and started to feel ill. He dropped down to the floor still grasping his rifle. He countinues fighting, firing his rifle at the mob around him from the ground.
Suddenly a series of explosions land all around him. Machine Gun fire rips through the rebels as they looked to see what was attacking them. Hundreds fell in seconds as the bullets continued to pepper the rebel forces. Tank and IFV rounds throw rebels into the air and the shrapnel kills dozens. Seeing his chance to rally his remaining soldiers the Major struggled to get to his feet. Grabbing a nearby pistol he fires at the rebels. Though his aim is unaccurate he still drops two rebels before the magazine is empty. Falling back down he reloads. Turning to his right he sees the Rapid Assualt Brigade continue to attack the rebels. Now soldiers were unloading from the Humvees and APCs, firing as they did so.
Apaches arrived soon after. They swooped down low to accurately distinguish rebel fighters before attacking. Forty-Five rockets from eight helicopters decimated the rebel numbers. Continous firing from the heavy Gilgamesh 155m ETC cannons practically destroyed the rebels in the rear area. In that short 10 minute peroid, with the arrival of helicopters and of the RAB, over 6,000 rebels were killed. It was nearly impossible to step in Point Panther without having to climb over bodies. A series of well placed cluster bombs, 16 in all, in the rear killed nearly 1,000 rebels. The battle was nearly finished.

A volley of tank Anti-Peronsel rounds landed near the middle column or soldiers. This finaly blast sent the majority of the surviving rebels in a fast retreat. Apaches overhead continued to launch many rockets, and cannon fire towards the retreating rebels. Humvees, APCs, and tanks also followed the rebel force, mowing down hundreds of them. In all the Attack at Point Panther was the single most bloody attack for the Battle Of Tarata. In that lone attack 24,000 rebels were killed and an estimated 7,000 more wounded of the original 35,000. And of the 900 Ninjanians stationed at Point Panther 605 were killed and another 200 wounded. A majority of the wounded continued to fight despite receiving serious wounds. The Rapid Assualt Brigade contained 1,000 soldiers. They lost 143 soldiers and 389 more were wounded. This attack was the final straw for the Emperor an intensive intelligence action was launched. It's sole purpose was to find and infiltrate the rebel command center.

Within a week's time the location of the Rebel Command Center was found. Using several "rough" agents the NIC found the exact location of the Rebel stronghold. A unit of 240 SAT (Special Assualt Team) were mobilized to spearhead the attack. An entire brigade of Marines were dedicated the the battle as well, over 2,000 soldiers. The time of arrival of this force was an estimated 1.5 days. The attack would be swift and deadly. Failure for the attack meant that the Rebel Leaders could carry on the rebellion for many more months.
OOC: Next post is attack.
