"Not a single drop of blood was dropped as troops that were stationed in Peninsula de Zapata descended upon the Cayman Islands this morning. The native population was subdued easily and they surrendered within 22 hours of the invasion. It took almost half that time to move a small contingent of fighters onto Navassa Island from the garrison at Santiago de Cuba. The native population put up a short fight and they were quickly overrun by our surperior forces. In other news a large amount of armored supply boats have moved to Navassa from the port city of Baracoa much speculation has yielded nothing of yet. We now take you to an ongoing military press conference."
The lights dimmed momentarily as a large man dressed in a green uniform appeared. He rested his hands on the table and smirked. Before he began.
"We are turning the island of Navassa into a garrison. We will be moving Cuban troops to secure it shortly. The Cayman Islands are going to serve as a garrison and training point for our new black Jamaican troops. That is all." The man got up and exited as the cameras flashed and reporters shouted questions which he ignored.
