Avadria

The plan had been on the drawing board for years. Proposed in secret by the Minister of Military Affairs directly to the Emperor, the proposed Operation Saber would help expand the Empire greatly and further propel Avadria onto the global scene. It was quickly approved by the Emperor and Minister Kurgen went to work drawing up the plans.
Minister Kurgen had already chose Field Marshal Erwin Troda to lead the assault, seeing him as the best man for the job, despite the conflict between the two. Field Marshal Troda was a young, charasmatic, leader who was well respected by his troops and feared by his enemies.
The plan called for a multi-pronged invasion of the Netherlands, with one force assigned to seize Amsterdam in the west and another to attack from the north of the country. Aiding those forces would be paratroopers from the Imperial Fallondjaega Korps deployed in scattered areas around the south. Within a day of the initial attack, the invading forces would be sent to Belgium and replaced by fresh soldiers to assit in policing the Netherlands.
The invasion of Belgium would see another three pronged attack, this time using a much smaller sea-born force, attacking the Northern coast, while the other group would invade from the North, crossing over from the Netherlands. As well the IFK would see deployment again, dropping in behind enemy lines to help with the assault. Upon seizing Belgium, the nation of Luxembourg would be invaded with little reistance presumed.
Finally after seizing the two other nations, the final wave of soldiers would be deployed in the region. Then the Avadrian forces would begin to put pressure along the French border, finally making a move to push through and seize enough territory to basically cut Europe in half.
The invasion of France is ruled as being the most difficult part of the plan and presumably will see the most lives lost, however victory is predicted. Seeing as it is not the plan to seize all of France, once the objectives of the operation are met, a peace treaty will be proposed to the French as a means to seal Avadria's territorial gains in writing.
Minister Kurgen was now only days away from seeing his plan realized. Soldiers began to prep and get ready to leave, the extent of the plan not yet revealed to either them or the public. All the average person knew, was that war was coming.
