315 miles north of Benderberg Isle
The Benderberg Naval formations moved through the seas with Admiral Schmidt commanding. They were running through the South Atlantic at flank speed. Under the Admiral's command was his flagship, a Nimitz CVN, 2 Ticonderogas, 3 Arleigh Burkes, 2 Oliver Hazard Perry frigates, and 2 Los Angeles (improved) subs. This was the Navy's 2nd battlegroup of the 3rd fleet. A proud CVSG with a storied past filled with glory.
In many years of war, this fleet had inflicted the deaths of thousands of men while only losing 4 ships of it's own. It was to Benderberg what TF-17 was to the US Navy in WWII.
Admiral Schmidt had studied about this fleet during his years in the academy and as a junior officer. It was a privilage for his final command to this strike-group. He had announced that he would be leaving the service after this 6 month deployment after over 40 years in the Imperial Navy. It was a bittersweet moment to command his ships out of Benderberg territory one more time. His mission would be nothing but the usual transit to the Indian Ocean for a few months of patrol.
OOC: I want someone to RP an attack on them. I've Rped Benderberg Isle as in the South Atlantic. Attack somewhere between there and the transit up to 300 miles South of Pakistan.
Please tell me ahead of time what your plan is so we can properly RP it. Don't worry, you will get to succeed in the attack.
