Short history of the last 50 years:
With the end of the long centuries of civil war and political turmoil over due to tzar Pieter Russchenky's restoration of monarchy in FPC, not all problems vanished. During his 30 year reign, late-tzar Pieter managed to boost his nation's economy, stop political corruption that had been rotting the nation and terminate bands of roaming thiefs that were attacking remote villages and army convoys. However, this stabilisation meant that the government was now governed by a sole man. This man had abolished all political parties and had had to emprison or kill many of the political activists that did not back down.

The new emperor had also to purge the military, aging and also corrupted. As many as 25,000 high ranking officers were executed in a single week. They were replaced by able-bodied soldiers, loyal to the new regime. Peace meant also the death of the political body known as the principality of Listovia. This tiny nation was rapidly annexed into the larger FPC empire. Outsiders and Listovians alike did not see any changes and many welcomed the inclusion but this was only a sign that the executions had been well camouflaged. Nearly 19,000 persons of the political, military and economical centers of Listovia were purged and another 30,000 were deported to labor camps. In the main empire, late-tzar Pieter also abolished all civil liberties and human rights claiming that it was for the better good of the state, wich in fact was. In 3 years, tzar Pieter had achieved a total peace. He went on to maintain it for another 27 years until his death. An estimated 120,000 were killed and a further 200,000 were deported to the northern labor camps in the region of "Klachowska" or "White Death". These facts are hidden from the population and even some high ranking members of the monarchy.

Present day:
Now his son, Evhen Russchenky, as taken the throne. He his an able man but he has problems with his temper and does not take no for an answer. However, these problems seem not to have been an handicap since he has been on the throne for 5 years. But now, something is going wrong. A region in the south of the empire is seemingly erupting in open revolt. The province of Gulotchnietmyetz, wich as always been highly anti-tzar, has now risen up. Civilians armed with automatic rifles have taken to the streets and have attacked numerous police stations. Some villages have also been "liberated" completly.

Tzar Evhen, underestimating the province's power, since it only holds app. 900,000 people, sent 15,000 soldiers to quell the uprising. His soldiers were almost all executed and some are still surrounded behind ennemy lines. More soldiers were brought in but the situation reached a stand-still since winter arrived earlier and conditions in the air and on ground have made it almost impossible to fight. The tzar's inner circle and entourage have made everything possible to hide the revolt from the rest of the country and the world but some rumors have been going round.

This is why tzar Evhen launched an open invitation to all nations in Eropid and many friendly nations of the world to send dignitaries or even their ruler to attend a one week summit on the current FPC situation, at home and around the world in the hope of hiding the fact of an uprising. The foreign minister is now awaiting replies on who will come.

Generia shall of course be sending a delegation, on behalf of Emperor Antonius I. Unfortunately neither the Emperor or myself can personally attend, as we are occupied with a rather pressing situation on the homefront, however, we shall dispatch a most reputable government officer and trusted advisor, a Mr. Jonathan Cac. We are sure the problem will be worked out quickly.

Do not worry, we have deployed 7,000 police officers in our capital to safeguard the motorcades wich will escort your diplomats from the airport through the city to the suburbs and then, around 10,000 members of the tzar's bodyguard will safeguard the highways and the tzar's winter resort, where the summit will take place. Note that you can already begin to send your diplomats as the airport and most of the city as been closed down for a week to attend to the sumit.

As the first of the diplomats arrive, from nations such as Algonquia, Yugoamerica and Generic empire, they are greeted by FPCan diplomats and security agents that escort them to their motorcade. The armored cars travel through the capital, wich looks almost like a ghost town, execpt for the police officers who patrol the sidewalks connected to the streets taken by the motorcade. Then, the convoy reaches the highway where an impressive amount of military personnel and equipement has been put. Tanks and APCs guard strategic points and helicopters patrol the skies to avoid any airborne assault.

Cargo choppers with special ops teams constantly roam the air, overlooking the diplomats' cars to pick them up if anything should occur. But all goes well and after 40 minutes of ride, they reach the tzar's winter resort. The cars stop at the main gate and the diplomats have a first look at the resort: This 100 acre resort is both impressive and massive looking with two main compounds and long fields filled with trees and plants. One of the main compound, where the tzar resides, is the farthest from the gates and is 4 stories high and is in an "E" shape. It is impossible to tell how long or large it is but, from a distance it is quite imposing. The other compound, where the summit and the diplomats will take place, is directly in front of the gates, though a couple of hundreds of meters behind it, separated by a magnificient road. This building is square and is 6 stories high. The cars, after clearance, proceed to the first compound.

After replying with the appropriate pleases and thank-yous, a Cessna Citation XLS (http://www.charterauction.com/newsletter/XLS_inflight1.jpg), donated to the Rayverr occupation from a surprisingly generous Cvechiokali businessman and painted in the standard navy blue and royal purple livery of the vesh pij verr with green checkerboard trim, takes off from České International Airport for the Royal Empire of FPC. On board, the Speaker for the vesh pij verr relaxes back into his comfortably padded seat, hands folded, eyes closed, a slight smile playing across his face as he quietly looks forward to the upcoming talks. His first outing as a masjon, his first opportunity to serve the vesh to his utmost. This will hopefully go well, he thinks to himself with quiet conviction, and somewhere in a dusty corner of his mind just out of perception, someone else agrees.

Jacob Comeango will attend to the meeting. He shall be arriving shortly to the airport.

The Bobghan Foreign Minister shall arrive in FPC soon, aboard the Bobghan Government's VIP Airbus A380. The aircraft will be escorted by a pair of GBAF Typhoon F.2 aircraft that will perform a small flying display on arrival in honour of the Government of FPC.

We look forward to hearing the details and results of this great conference, and hope that it will lead to a peaceful and mutually beneficial relationship between Greater Bobghanistan and all the other attending nations.

General Hughes' transport landed in a field outside the city. Escorted by several infantrymen, he drove into the city. He stopped at the designated area and awaited he FPC poliece escort to take him to the meeting.
