~Extremely Heavily Coded Electronic Communication to Allies~
We have recently ran across the Shivans. It appears they are calling outwards for an army. My military advisers say any attempt at finding or going to the location they are calling from at this point will result in a waste of time and resources. They will probably move the fleet from that location before we arrive, which would be smart and what I would expect them to do.
We are currently preparing our military for the upcomming war. No sign of what they have planned, but any calls of a psionic nature speak of trouble. I'm currently preparing a military strike force and am going to use that ship I've kept all information about from the public. Those in the ESUS know of the one I'm talking about. Maybe we'l get lucky and scouts will find them.
I would like to place a Sarkarasetan with each military. They can translate and send messages. This way, even if our communications are intercepted and decoded, they cannot understand what we are saying.
In any case, I'm preparing for war and suggest the same of you. This is a threat that could use a stomping.

"Orbez, prepare the scouts. I want to know exactly where they are," Enigma said.

General Corbox stood overlooking the latest progress reports in the ongoing engagement with Slinao.

"You know, that almost makes me feel guilty. I think we almost went in with TOO many tricks up our sleeves... NAH!" he burst into maniacal laughter.

"Sir!" one adjutant piped up from his respective control panel, waving at Corbox to get his attention. "Courier Transmission from one of our freighters carrying Enigma's goods! Something BIG."

"And this isn't?"

"Sir, all due respect, that thing on the other earth is small fries. This thing is... well... our caliber."

Corbox fumed over to the adjutant and read the missive regarding the 'Shivans'.

"Okayyyy... so they're pulling some sort of mobilization. No figures on numbers or anything? I wouldn't exactly call the national guard on a pot party without knowing how many people were on the guest list, now would you?"

After some thought, the analogy sifted its way into the Adjutant's brain. "Uh... no sir. Going overboard is inefficient."

"And inefficiency is bad, stupid, and not one bit artistic, is it? What do we like again?"

"Knowing exactly what we're getting into and how to use themselves against them."

"Fast track to promotion, kid. You're remembering all the stuff you should. Send a message on the next freighter out asking for further information on possible number estimations and such. At least something for us to go on."

"Will do sir."

Corbox turned from the Adjutant as he began drafting a missive to be sent on the next freighter out. Calling out to the StarNaval command group in order to get them back to work, he walked over and addressed the Overseer.

"Sounds like Enigma wants our help on something. I ain't sure how big, but better send out the call for at least a token mobilization maneuvers on... oh... say ten of our DawnRunner fleets. I'm gonna go chat with Cassius for a bit, see if he wants us to pull out any more stops. If what binky over there says is big really is big, I expect us to be there kicking ass and taking names with the best of 'em. Gots?"

"Gots."

"Good."

Corbox marched into his office and began dialing numbers. Small or big, the stupidest thing possible would be to sit on one's ass twiddling thumbs while things went to hell in a handbasket. Ostrich heads and all that rot.

Orbez stopped, looking at the report before her. She had vetoed the idea, and now the AIs had chosen to challenge her. She had no choice but to take the issue to Enigma, and she was afraid of what he might say. She knew exactly what he must do, and it would not be pleasant.

"Sir, the AIs have an idea they would like to try, and I vetoed it. But they wish to hear your orders on it," Orbez said, approaching Enigma as he sat on his throne reading.

"What is it?" Enigma asked.

"It's a weapon," Orbez said, watching as Enigma put the book down in interest. "They wish to remove the plasma routers of the central plasma cannon and instead hook up four graviton generators to it. They even came up with a shield program to make it a beam instead of condensing immediately when leaving the cannon. Sir, this weapon they are advising is capable of igniting worlds."

"Do you know why the Two Sarkarasetan Empires became so powerful in their day?" Enigma asked.

"I haven't been that great of a history buff," Orbez said.

"You should be. It's important to what we do. They became so powerful because they destroyed everyone who opposed them. How long will it take to make the necessary modifications?" Enigma asked.

"Eight hours. We'll be completing it at the same time the graviton destroyer is completed. But this weapon... Sir, I am opposed to this because of how easily it can be used on planets," Orbez said.

"I know. We all hate to build such weapons, yet in this case I fear it is necessary. Just be glad only one ship will carry it. Do you have anything else for me?" Enigma asked.

"We have a working theory that we can build graviton torpedos and FTL inhibitors..." Orbez began.

"I want working weapons, not working theories. Try to contact our allies and see how many are ready for this fight," Enigma said.

"Oh, we've dispatched all one hundred of our cloakships. They should be finding the shivans soon," Orbez said before leaving the room.
