Freinds, there is a growing trend of wars and disputes over the past months on nationstates, and as the older, less dynamic allinces are falling to parts, (NATO, NWO, RWC ect.) or are driven apart by internal bickering we present to you this allince.

The Union of defence is a purly defensive allince, for everyone, no strings attached. we don't have any Forums, or major rules to keep it accessable. Just contact me when you need help, I'll contact our members (Or you can yourself) and we'll help you, but only if they think it's right to help.

However you have to be prepared to aid the other countrys in this allince if there's any trouble.

Are you willing to aid other members of this alliance? (Financially, military if necessary)

- RULES -



IMPORTANT!
This alliance will NOT promote warmongers. If anyone finds it necessary to start wars just to get backed by the bigger members than you are WRONG. We will never support warmongers. Warmongers will be KICKED OUT and will be NEVER allowed back in.

[1] Declarations of war on other alliance members is something which is NOT tolerated. Diplomacy is the key to solving internal affairs.
[2] People are only kicked out if they break a rule
[3] NEVER, BUT NEVER SUPPORT TERRORISM. No exceptions, no second chances.
[4] Complains about other members must be directed at me.
[5] This allince is about defence not about attack. We will not support you if you attack somone Unless you have been attacked in some way or another.
[6] Violation of the rules (except #3) will give you 1 warning. Then you're out.
[7] Everyone is accepted
[8] You must promise to controbute aid to one of our members if he/ she is attacked, you only get out of this if there's a serious reason why you don't want to.

We have been a part of many alliances in our time. Essentially, we have now withdrawn from all that we have been a part specifically because of the reasons outlined by your nation. From what has been explained this alliance definitely seems to be a positive step forward in the right direction and so we are interested in joining.

Isnt this just the Legion of Defense but smaller and with a slightly different name? Also the RWC and NATO especially but also the NWO have really faded out recently. Mostly because they were pointless.

Also the rule set is copied word for word from the RWC ruleset. In fact pretty much the whole post, except for the first sentence or two, is copied word for word from the RWC recruitment psot.

Actually, The Legion of Defence isn't dead. Nothing spikes our interest. We have roughly 30 members at the present time, a running council, etc. We lurk in the shadows...

I just havn't seen you, I thought you where dead, and so decided to fill the vacum.

The Legion of Defense, rather than the rest of the Alliances, is taking its time in organizing itself before it 'breaks' into NS. We're making sure that everything is going to work out.
