i am just using star wars tech for simlicities sake, and that teh info is avaliable on the web for proof so that halfway through i dont suddenly end up with another 50 guns on my flag ship :p

yes, but if you want to knock out the leader, you take out the flagship.. which is teh biggest ship.. if the enemy does not know (and will not) thatthe flagship is not the biggest, tehy take out teh biggest, you till ahev coordination

and i always prefered the Nebulons

Carracks are somewhat old and ugly :P

and the carrier is underdefended...

EDIT: and the nebulon has FAR better shields and armor

OOC: Probably was a good idea to switch to a star destroyer - I personally would have knocked out the escorts to reduce the numbers of ships my weapons had to handle.
