Luxembourg/ Mattvian Border.

The 14th Panzer, 15th Panzer and 29th and 100th Infantry Divisions, were all on the border they had orders to invade, it was Operation: Capture My Home. the operation was being lead by General Shadow, he was commander of the 15th Panzer Division.
Shadow looked at his watch, five minutes. 'Stukas should be coming any minute' he thought to himself.
He picked up his phone, "get your gunners into position" he ordered to the man on the over end of the phone.
The man replied "Done General".
"Ok, get ready, your going in five minutes, wait for my orders" he ordered.
"Yes sir!" the man said.

4 minutes later.....

The drones of planes came over the troops, it was stukas, hundreds of them, the men watched, as they watched them drive and swirl, and bomb the enemy, then a whistle blew.
"Go, go ,go, go" there commanders all yelled, the guns opened fire, shelling a nearby village. The troops went over the top running, getting down and firing, running for there target. They could see some people, they slowed down and shot them, suddenly they heard machine gun fire, they were fighting back!
The Panzers rolled over there defences and headed towards the village, the Panzers made sort work of small machine gun.

The same was happening all over Luxembourg, it later signed a treaty, and has been annexed into the Great Mattvian empire.
Total losses for Mattvia: 25
Total Losses for Luxembourg: 394.

It wasn't till 24 hours later that the news reached Ascendancy ears.

"Huh, kinda... brutesqe..."

Walking along one of the Palace Tree Command Center walkways, the Excellency commented on the report given to him by an aide just behind he and Lord Akito.

"Should we keep an eye on it?"

Aleaic looks away from Akito and towards the strategic map, hovering on a massive comp-link beam, the 500 meter flat screen showing much of the Earth VI world.

"More than that. Things have been rather active lately.

..aide." ..the subject steps closer again.

"Tell The Foreign, Strategic and Tactical Advisors to meet me in the Throne Center in two hours." ..the aide bows and scampers off.

Akito.. "Condor I presume."

Aleaic replys. "Time to put a 'toe' in space, or.. or um.. you know."

Akito just shrugs. "Uhuh.. well then.."

Aleaic blinks.. "Ah.. yes.. the budget..." ..with a sigh. "I love this job."

Mattvian South West China Border:

Field Marshall Draz was in his HQ it was nearing 3 o'clock almost time. Earlier that day an invasion of Luxembourg had happened, and it had worked, many generals and field Marshall's were spectacle that this Blitzkrieg would ever work, but it had, it only took them a few hours. So of course this then put a lot of pressure on his shoulders, this had to work, the Lord Kaiser and personally said so.
"Aide, get the bombers ready" Draz ordered.
"Ja, field Marshall" the aide replied, and clicked his heels and marched out of the control room, which was a busy place, with people walking, running and marching everywhere.
"Now, launch the attack!" Draz shouted, people picked up phones, saying "go, go ,go". At that moment the Mattvian government signed the documents to go to war with South West China!

19th Panzer Division, On the Mattvian/ South West China Border:

The phone rang, one of the staff picked it up. He put it down, ran out side, a rung a bell, the men could here bells ringing everywhere, it was time, they saw fighters and bombers go above them.
"Right men, this it, we are going into battle, I'm proud of you, we are doing God and the Lord Kaisers wishes, for the Kaiser!" One of the Majors said. A great cheer rang out, the men jumped into there Tiger IIs.
And crossed the border.
There was a border guard outpost, there were about five border guards, three were asleep.
The major who had given the speech got out his binoculars, ordered his company to open fire, the five of them didn't know what had happened, there out post had been blown to pieces all the five men died, within a second.

This was happening all over the border, and the South West Chinese wanting no more blood shed, ordered a armistice, and were annexed ten hours later. A massive parade took place in there capital!!

A vicious roar is quickly obscured by a billow of vapor clouds, as the full ignition incinerates the air underneath the launch vehicle.

The rising several hundred meter cloud is soon pierced by the Tachi-II rocket..

..the vehicle, patterned after the Titan-IV series, begins to immediately fade in size as it continues to rise expoentially.

3:14 later, it jetisons Stage One.. "..now reading a height of 87 kilometers, approaching Stage Two burn.."

87 seconds after, Stage Two becomes Stage Three.

..another two hours, fifteen seconds later, it reaches it's final orbit with a final burn.

..upon a height of 219.73 kilometers, 'just' within gravity influence, the cargo makes it's ejection burn and begins to assume it's task.

"How long till we know?"

"About six hours for the satellite to adjust to it's orbit range, for the sensors to also adjust to focusing on the earth. It's also to make sure that gravity holds the satellite in place."

Aleaic looks at Professor Ra Ra, most of the Council attending the Security session, in response to the situation Earth-VI worldwide. "Hope it does, that's a good chunk of change and experimental systems, power sources and whatnot on that thing.

Ra Ra just scritches his bald head with a chuckle. "It should milord. It should."

Tsunami meanwhile looks at her daughter Isarra, whom is transfixed at the realtime displays in the SC-Center. "Isn't it interesting to watch boys fret over their toys?" ..which makes Isarra reflexively giggle, and Aleaic frazzle.

OOC: I know this sounds dumb, but a) are you attacking me ands b) Don't fire any type of ballistic missiles or nukes because I am a world war two nation, and I will simply ignore it.

((OOC: No, it's just a spy/imager/weather satellite. The Ascendancy has a strict policy against first offensive action. And forget nuclear weapons, we detest them abhorrently.

Besides, it's more to test new Gaian technologies prior to my new fleet being built and deployed.

Washington was my last acquisition anyway. I needed the sea bases to link to my Homeland.))

Early that morning Admiral U.Namtar II walked into his office and sat down, not bothering to close the door today. After a moment of relaxing, he was not a morning person, he looked down to the branch reports on his desk.
"Crap, crap, they don't do anything anyway, what the hell do I care?" he said to himself as he sifted through the reports, mostly just information for him to know what was going on. The Senate had the civil side under control, and nothing major was happening, untill he came to the report from Fleet Command.
The report read: 'Recently an unidentified craft has been put into orbit around the planetary surface. No known weapons systems detected upon initial scan, however no visual refrence had been noted until the arival of Gemini 16, whereas the crew confirmed Gaian markings on the small object.'
The Admiral pressed the button on his intercom for Fleet Command, and after a short yawn, relayed his instructions to the branch. "Dispatch a Frigate to the area, tell them to keep their distance, and not to interact with the object, we don't know what it is or what it is for. I just want to be on the safe side." with that he read the next Fleet Report, confident that his orders would be carried out.
After a few more minutes, and a sip of his morning chocolate milk, he again pressed the button on his intercom, this time for Central Intelligance.
"I want you to keep an eye on Mattvia. So far they've been freindly, and I hope to keep it that way. And send a message to them, inform them we recognise their annexes, and hope the two of us can negotiate trade systems."
After a moment of having taken his hand off the button, the Admiral pressed the Central Intelligance button again, "And send a message to the Gaian Ascendancy, ask them what they just put into orbit."

Finally, he leaned back and relaxed, then suddenly said out-loud, "Where the hell is Luxembourg?"
Turning to his map of the planet on the wall to the right of his desk he looked. right next to the green pin marked "Mattvia" was a small nation region of Luxembourg.
"Um... oh." he said to himself, "I need to make this a night job, I hate mornings."
Another yawn or two later, the Admiral got up and walked to the caffeteria, he was out of chocolate milk.

A member of staff walked into the Foreign minister office.
"Sir, a message from Dostanuot Loj." The man barked.
"Ok, no need to shout I'm only over here, now let's see." The staff man gave him the message.
"Ah, ah, ah, ooh, um, yep, yep, good, send this to the Prime Minister, I also think the Lord Kaiser will want to see it."
And with that the staff man walked out, to give it to someone else, who would give it to the PM.
