Iron Alliance International News Agency (IAINA)
Last night,President Robert Barker of The Iron Alliance addressed The Iron Alliance presenting his plans for The Iron Alliance and the world.
This is his address:
Good Evening, fellow members of the Iron Alliance;fellow citizens,
This evening,I give this address to state our accomplishments, tasks that lay ahead, goals, and problems.I begin not by stating what is wrong with the Iron Alliance, but what is right. In 2004 alone,The Iron Alliance accomplished much. But more must be done. This evening, concerning education,I will ask this alliance and its members to pass proposals that I hope you will pass. These include making education free of charge and available to all citizens.I will ask for the modernization of text and the construction of colleges and universities. In defense, I will ask this alliance and its members to pass proposals concerning modernization and improvement. In economics,I will propose a change to the current economic path followed by the Iron Alliance. In foreign policy,I will explain current problems, accomplishments of the past, accomplishments of the present, and our goals for what we hope will be accomplished in the future ahead.I will explain The Iron Alliance's current diplomatic relationship with the U.N.,our position and purpose as a region in the world community, problems and our solutions to them, problems solved and lessons learned, our current position in the world based on policy and how we will implement that policy and the benefits of implementing it.
In this address,I will announce the largest government reorganization. This year,The Iron Alliance has the opportunity to improve, and go beyond.
Over the next months,we will see what can be accomplished when we work together.
We will work to create a prosperity that is broadly shared. We will answer the call of our citizens, and defend our regional values and interests, and defeat our enemies.
This evening,I will begin with education. Our accomplishments in the education system in The Iron Alliance include a high literacy rate of 90% of the population.I also ask that 24 colleges and universities be constructed. This education package will require 270 billion dollars this year and an additional 380 billion dollars over the next year.I ask that these projects be passed.
Second,is defense. Our defense needs improvement and modernization.Anti-Air capability must be stepped up.Apart of this anti-air defense project is nearly 500 genie nuclear air-to-air missiles.I also order that production of surface-to-air missiles be stepped up.This includes the nike hercules, nike ajax and nike zeus surface to air missiles.New radar systems must be built.Shoreline defenses similar to the famous "Atlantic Wall" from World War II must be built.I also ask that the alliance pass the construction of a land, sea, and air-based anti-missile system.Improvements in readiness must be made.Fighter and interceptor aircraft must be ready for air-to-air combat with enemy forces within a moment's notice.A new radar system must be built to detect low-flying cruise missiles and so-called 'stealth' aircraft.
These projects will cost 550 billion dollars.I am also as your President re-appointing Adam Hogan to the position of General of our regional military forces.I don't expect anyone to agree with my decision, but Adam Hogan is not a traitor. If he was a traitor,he would have never offered to return to be our General once again. We also need to get as many nations as we can to
build up the alliance. It shall be the policy of this Alliance that if one nation is attacked, all nations of the Iron Alliance will be considered attacked.
Third,is economics.Tonight,I propose changes in our economy. These include imposing taxes on the wealthy and giving the poor and working class a tax cut.I have also directed that further measures to protect the economy.
Last is Foreign Policy. Our accomplishments in foreign policy are creating diplomatic relations and trade with many nations.Last year,The Iron Alliance established diplomatic relations and trade with the nations Granzi and Inkana.
The Iron Alliance also signed an agreement to sell weapons to China. But tonight I propose that a new communist alliance network be created. To create this alliance network, agreements will have to be made with the Soviet Union,China,USSR,and other communist nations and regions. Our diplomatic relations with the U.N. are not very established.Very few nations in the Iron Alliance are U.N. members.New policy is being presented tonight. The first is a policy against genocide.Nations suspected of committing genocide will be ordered to stand down.If they do not stand down, they will face war.Genocide is the inhuman imprisonment, torture, overwork, and killing of people in death camps. The Iron Alliance must also adopt a policy against terrorism.
In conclusion,I end this address by saying that The Iron Alliance is a peaceful region. The Iron Alliance strives for peace and is opposed to war.But sometimes peace must be defended.A future lived at the mercy of terrible threats is no peace at all.
Thankyou and God Bless The Iron Alliance
