GBBC News statement:

The Greater Bobghan Ministry of Defence today announced to the people and the nations of the Grand Alliance that the testing of our new Hypersonic missile systems are now complete.

The Hyper Storm series of MACH-10, stand-off missiles have been cleared for carriage on all the GBAF's strike aircraft, and the GBAF's strategic bombers have been cleared to carry up to 20 ALCM-X MACH-10 cruise missiles each.

In addition to this, we have begun operational deployment of the TLAM-X, a MACH-10 development of the Tomahawk Land Attack Missile for the Greater Bobghan Navy's ships and submarines.

These new systems will ensure that Greater Bobghanistan remains at the forefront of advanced weapons development.

Happy 'We Love Bobski' Day to you all!

Greater Bobghanistan would like to announce that a new version of the Hyper Storm, the Hyper Storm K has just been approved for service in the GBAF and GBN.

The Hyper Storm K is a 4,500lb, MACH-10 kinetic energy weapon designed for use against large, heavily armoured targets such as battleships and hardened facilities. It consists of a solid 4,500lb missile (similar to K.E. anti-tank rounds, but much much larger) featuring the usual stealth characteristics and SCRAM-Jet engine. Like our other Hyper Sonic weapons, it features terrain-following GPS guidance and is designed to fly at altitudes between 50ft and 50,000ft.

Actual penetration figures are classified, but our tests have shown that just one Hyper Storm K can penetrate in excess of 20 feet of battleship armour when fired from ranges up to 2,000 miles and that several Hyper Storm Ks, striking in quick succession, can penetrate much further than that.

The GBN Phoenix-Class carriers EPS Bobski, EPS Phoenix and EPS Erica of the Hollins have just sailed with their battle groups for a large joint GBN and GBAF exercise that will feature further tests of the Hyper Storm missiles, as well as the TLAM-X and ALCM-X cruise missiles.
