Unless you live in space, then you have no real use for them at all.

Double barreled 9mm assault rifle, based on the venerable 11mm AR-22 and variants which served TPM for well over two centuries. Due to advances in compact trilithium explosives, we can now fit over 60 rounds in the same size magazine which used to hold 32 11mm bullets.
The explosive in the caseless 9mm rounds is one of the most potent in the universe, this combined with acceleration along the barrel via charged coils allows for extreme muzzle velocity. There is a variety of projectiles to be used for desired effect depending on mission. Also a 30mm plasma launcher can be mounted underneath, firing pulses, delayed action bursts or "scatter charges"
The underbarrel plasma launcher takes the same cell as the other weapons, but needs special muzzle loaded shells for the scatter charges(sort of like a shotgun but spacedy and sparkly :) ) and delayed action bursts (which act kind of like a frag grenade)

They seem kinda...small O_O

The increased manoeuvrability, decreased material/time cost, the decreased power requirements and the decreased chance of the rear end falling off if you turn too fast make small(er) ships infinitely more sensible than insanely large ships. Unless they're carriers. In which case size lets a single carrier hold more fighters. Although, if you can build two smaller carriers from the same resources and in the same amount of time as a larger one...
You can have a smaller fleet of larger ships, or a larger fleet of smaller ships. The former is more awe-inspiring but less practical, whilst the latter is less awe-inspiring but more flexible. I've done the same as Phoenix with one of my other nations. Depends on your fleet's priorities.

And by the way, nice ships. 'Specially the first few with the large schematics. Did you draw those yourself?

Pheonix Militia, I think it's a good effort. You put alot of time into it, such as the artwork and stats. There are some good FT Rp'ers out there (I like to think I'm one of them ;)) If you need any tips or help, let me know. Although from what I can see, you're doing fine.

The schematics I made by chopping up scale drawings from a star trek fleet chart and did a litle magic in photo shop, 3-D ones are all by me in doga.

by the way, the first 4 ships are all larger than the Enterprise(s) of Star Trek...including the Galaxy class.

Except for the Enterprise-E ;)

They're pretty damn good. I'm going to have to learn to do stuff like that one of these days...

I plan to just use infantry with ships supporting from low orbit if i have to do anything on the ground.

update btw

Err...what happens if for one reason or another, you can't have ships in orbit supporting your troops? What if there's a major battle overhead and your ships are to busy to bombard choice targets on the ground? What happens if your enemy is intelligent and lures your ships away with a feint, or what if they have powerful planetary shields that prevent bombardment for the most part? There's any number of things that can go wrong with what you describe, and a crafty enemy will make sure to take advantage of them.

Basically, the Trek ground warfare philosophy is not a very good one to emulate if you're a military force. You'll get the snot beaten out of you by any reasonable competent military force, even if you have more advanced weapons.

It works for explorers who will probably almost always have the ship on hand, but for your army? Not the best idea.

Kudos for using ergonomically viable weapons, not like most Trek phasers.

by 4 meters lol

I plan to keep my army in my two systems which are within 5 lightyears of each other for the most part, and there will be some nice stationary defenses on the planet's surface, the only thing going outside of my territory will be ships with thier small marine complement anyways. I don't plan to go out and try to conquer anyone anytime soon. Plus the F-21 fighters make great close air support aircraft

Well they are all there except for the vrelk, phoenix, avenger and interdiction but imagine the vrelk as a large spartan/talon mix and the avenger is just a devastator with a pointy nose (and no huge cannon). The interdiciton il make a 3d for soon...

Actually if you look closer the main part of the hulls of those ships are that of the Ferangi Marauder.

T-56[b] Light Tank
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/grunt74/NS1/t56tank.jpg
The T-56 was designed originally in 2156 and over 1 million have been made since. It is armed with only 1 Talon rifle and a pair of linked 56mm coilguns which use ancient caseless TPM Special Ammo (as a booster). But the EM coils of the coilguns accelrate the flechette round to roughly 10,000 feet per second and the cyclic rate of fire is 1,000 rpm making it a deadly proectile weapon. Although TPM began phasing it out for the last decade there are still over 5,000 T-56 tanks in service. The T-56A3 was the first to use the forcefield instead of relying only on armor and is the oldest version still in use.
Specifications
