Fritz City, Codian States -- The latest in a series of Codian breakthroughs with their missile force, CCS has test-fired a long-range, nuclear-capable missile, the second in three weeks, according to military statements.
"The Codian States today carried out a successful test fire of its indigenously developed, long-range surface-to-surface nuclear-capable MIRV missile, Kazootie II," a statement issued by the Codian Ministry of Defense said.
The Kazootie II missile has a range of about 2300 kilometers (1,450 miles).
The latest test comes seventeen days after The Codian States test-fired a Rigatello missile, an advanced medium-range nuclear-capable missile. At the time, officials said they would carry out more tests in the coming days, the press reported.
The Codian States have three other missile systems in development as part of their modernization initiative, including a three-stage, mobile, solid propellant intercontinental missile capable of targeting 85% of the globe. Also in development are a submarine-based limited intercontinental nuclear-capable missile and a short range, road-mobile, solid-propellant ballistic missile able to be fitted with nuklear warheads or enhanced radiation weaponry. These missiles feature modernized means to improve accuracy, including use of the Global Positioning System and steerable exhaust nozzles for control.
Coupled with the new C.S. heavy water reactor in Stanada City, along with the recently completed reactors near Pridaho and New Ross, the new missile programs are stirring up unrest among the nonproliferation crowd. Amidst the lobbyists and protestors in Codian States capitol Fritz City, Kingf. Rudy Kazootie has appealed to allay fears, repeating his message of responsibility and accordance with the U.N. (resolution 75).
