Aztec Lands

The Aztec Lands have been using NATO standard missiles, notably the heatseeking AIM-9M Sidewinder and medium-range radar-guided AIM-120A AMRAAM and long-range AIM-54C Phoenix. There are various ground missiles and reportedly a secret prototype nuclear air-to-air missile.
It has now been revealed that the types are now to recieve an overhaul and to be replaced with types produced in-country,
SRIR-1, or "Short Range InfraRed-1", will replace the aging Sidewinder.
MRAR-2, or "Medium Range Active Radar-2" will replace the AMRAAM.
LRAR-3, or "Long Range Active Radar-3" will replace the Phoenix, though few present aircraft can carry it.
Air-to-ground missiles have not been named yet, but they will mostly comprise Maverick and guided bomb replacements.
The Phoenix, especially, is in sore need of updating- in some trials, the percent rate of Phoenixes hit versus Phoenixes fired has been less than 50%, but it usually hovers around 65%- not an acceptable figure in the stealth age.
