With the finalization of an agreement several months in the making, the African colonies of Angola, Zambia, and Tanzania will be given to Zarbia's ally, Safehaven2. The reasons for this change of control will not be revealed, but a small Zarbian military presence will remain in the colonies.

It hadn't been a long trip but it felt like it took a year. The large Arkbird taxied down the airfield just outside of Luanda in what was soon to become Havenite Angola. Inside General Theisman was preparing to take over his new command. The doors of the massive aircraft opened and down the steps came the first members of Theismans staff. Lining each side of the pathway Zarbian troops stood in full dress. These weren't the combat veterans that had fought alongside Havenite troops only a few years ago, they were new to Africa. Marching down the pathway the general stopped. His extended hand was taken firmlby a heavy gloved hand. The Zarbian general almost shed a teer as the Zarbian flag was replaced by a Havenite one.

"You better take care of her"

"Don't worry about that, its about to become my home for along time."

"Its an interesting place to live, you can trust me on that, shall we continue to the capitol?"

"Yes, I want to get these ceremonies over with as soon as I can."

Heading off they boarded a Zarbian helicopter conveniatly placed just 50 ft away for the day. The helicopter took off and went on its way to the Zarbian command center in Luanda. Flying overhead a mixed Zarbian/Havenite flight of fighters streaked across the sky escorting the helo and its precius cargo to its destination. Landing directly in front of the building the two generals stepped off and went inside meeting a wall of camera's and journalists. For the next 6 hours ceremonies and press conferences would be the order of the day.


Hours later exhausted, Thiesman got a chance to get down to the real dirty work. Inside what had been the Havenite command center for troops in what was Zarbian Angola he looked around the room at the faces now staring at him. Haven would start pumping hundreds of billions of dollors to modernize the new colonies and expand the infrastructure. Millions of Havenite citizens would soon populate the ex Zarbian cities and towns. Nearly two army groups would be stationed there to defend and control the colonies, but all this wasn't on the minds of the men and women surounding the table. Thiesman pressed a few buttons and the large screen turned on, detailed plans, satelite pictures and information filled the screen. For now Africa would be at peace but Safehaven had a few bones to pick and the people in the room were the means Safehaven would use to pick them.

General Kensky would be leaving Angola soon, back to a normal life in mainland Zarbia. He had governed the colony for seven years after the former ruler had proved himself a genocidal maniac. Kensky was sad to leave but he realized it was for the better for the locals; the Zarbians had ruled with an iron fist. Finally the apartheid would be lifted and the Safehavenites would take control.
