" We are proud to announce today that President Jarrod Branam has stated in a recent behind the scenes interview, that he has fallen in love with a member of his cabinet, and they are currently planning a wedding. It has been many years after the tragic death of the first-lady, but President Branam has expressed that he has been able to move on, and is ready to once again start a family. This is all the information we have been able to collect at this moment, but more will come as the Palace has agreed to release it in the following days.

The Wittrock Administration is glad to hear that President Jarrod Branam has announced that he is getting married to a new love. President Wittrock would like to send his warmest regards to the newly engaged couple and wishes for their future to be brighter then brightest star in the sky.

"After a week of uncertainty of who the future First-Lady will be, the Palace has finally released information on the President's wife-to-be. Let us go live to the Palace News Room, where Secretary of State Kim Shaffer is going to make the announcement......"
The screen fades from the newsroom to the conference room showing the Secretary of State walking up to the podium, cameras flashing around her.
"Good evening everyone. I will first give a brief synopsis of the situation, then the floor will open for a few questions. At this time, the Palace, and the cabinet members have agreed that we will release the name of the President's new fiance. Her name is Kasilyn Smith, and she is currently the Secretary of Education. No date is currently set for a wedding, but the two have expressed a desire to be wed in the Spring of next year. At this time I will open the floor to questions. Thank you" said Kim.
OOC: This will be a short Question and Answer Session from allied, and curious nations.

"At this time, the Palace cannot confirm nor deny who will be invited to the wedding. It is speculated that the attendees will consist of friends, family, and the closest Jarridian Allies." replied Ms. Shaffer.
The Canadian Reporter smiled, "Thank you Misses Shaffer. How long are the newly engaged couple dating for before, President Branam's announcement to the world?"

Do you think its right for a President to fall in love with someone who he accepted their nomination to be a member of their Administration? The Reporter nodded his head to think up of another thoughtful question, "Miss Shaffer, what do you think of the newly announced engaged couple? Do you think its right for a President to fall in love with someone who he accepted their nomination to be a member of their Administration? Will Miss Smith stand down as the Secretary of Education before their wedding day?"
Miss Shaffer smiled, "My good sir, is it ever truly wrong to fall in love? I should think not. I admire them for what they have, and all they need is eachother. We must not question the conditions that have brought them together, we must look toward the future. This will provide a new face to the Jarridian first family. Yes, she will step-down her roll as Secretary of Education because the Jarridian First-Lady has her own set of agendas that need to be fulfilled. There are several people that are being looked at for the Secretary position, including a Canadan."

UPDATE: The wedding is planned for this coming Monday or Tuesday, it really depends on when I have time. Invitations and the main thread will be made tomorrow. Ms. Smith is expected to resign later this evening in preparation for a new Secretary of Education, and a new Secretary will be named afterwards.
The setup for those attending the wedding will be as follows.
