2:00 AM, near the Palace.

The day was very young, and indeed, it was a quiet, yet guarded night. Policemen were walking their beat, and the mood was tense. The RALM had attacked a village, Springbrook, who knows what they might do.....

In the midst of this, a Mitsubishi Fuso truck, marked "Chang's Laundry-When it absolutely has to be sparkling white, fast" drove into an alley near the Palace.

In the back were several men, dressed in Palace Guard uniforms, and one dressed as a messenger for the Emperor, with a fake telegram and a silenced PPK. He was to deliver a message, the last one he would ever get.

The back of the truck opened, and soon, the men quietly made their way to the Palace. When confronted by the Guards, the Messenger spoke.

"I have an urgent Message to deliver to his Majesty, sir!"

He and the others were let in. He proceeded up the stairs, where he walked to the Emperor's Room, and knocked.

The Emperor said, "Yes, who is it?"

"I have a message for you, sir!"

He opened the door and let him in. The others waited outside. The Emperor, an old man went, "Yes what is it?"

The messenger handed him the telegram.

"Mhm...okay....let me get my glasses..."

As the Emperor was getting his glasses, the Messenger boy pulled out his PPK and shot the Emperor six times in the head. Then, he walked out as the Emperor lay dead, and handed one of the men the gun. Then, the others left, as the man shot himself with the PPK, simulating a murder-suicide.

The Messenger boy and the others saluted, and walked out. They returned to their truck, got inside, and drove off.

The bodies were discovered by a member of maintenance. The horrible truth soon emerged.....

All of these Emperors and what not, do not deserve to be in power. It is a shame that he had to step down the way he did but I am sure what was done was done with the will of the common people in mind. These absolute rulers should be done away with all together and make room for more civil governments that will work with the will of the people in mind. I commend the young revolutionary for his actions and hope that (whatever country this is) will work its way through this crisis and elect a capable leader for progress of the nation.

Two whole days had passed since the emperor's death. His son, and also heir to the throne, Titus, was in disbelief. He saved lives, yet he was killed. Titus was young, but very capable at leading, and had much experience with the government.

The funeral for Emperor Lucius Celmaetus was to take place two days from now, and the Coronation ceremony was to occur shortly after. Technically, Titus was already Emperor, for he had been rushed to become the leader. But the ceremony was a necessity to prove to the people of Comatica that he was Emperor.

An Austro-Navian court goes into sway...the crowds go silent and wait for the Prime Minister, one Otto Von Krausen to make the definitive speech of his career...

" It is with great sadness that i inform the people and the Royal Fimaly of Austro-Navia that the Emperor of our great friedn and ally, Present Day Comatica has been shot and killed by cowardly assasins. With this act of treachery the Austro-Navian Government with approval from the Exiled Free Anti-anime Government of the RALM, has aproved the death sentance of a RALM soldier caught by A-N Troops at Springbrook some time ago.

Aslo the Government of this Holy Empire has decreed a Death Sentance on the RALM's Faction leader, the despotic Kimiko Ayasugi, shogun of the opressive forces, and terrorist leader. With this death warrant we hope to get vengance for the children that lie dead in Springbrook, the Archduke that lies burried in our hallowed Royal Burial grounds and the deceased Emperor of our great Ally. The crowd looks happy and is cheering, as some sing the National anthem...flags waving and music playing...the age of peace had eneded, the age of RALM invincability had ended...

The Tokko vowed to deal with this scum. Arming their M72 LAW's and their L96A1's, they plotted the assassination of not only this new Emperor, they also planned to off the head of the IIS and maybe take out the IIB for good measure.

If they wanted a war, the Tokko would come to them.......

IC:

The targets lay waiting at their positions. The IIS men were in the cafe, off duty. Six of them waited altogether, casually sitting, yet with hands on pistols, ready to defend themselves.

Meanwhile, in a building nearby, a Tokko agent aimed his gun at the men. Observing them through his scope, he could see them cautiously enjoying themselves....unaware of the carnage about to occur.

The Tokko man began to aim with his L96A1. He aimed for the heads of the agents, six in total, and opened fire, relentlessly cocking the bolt, aiming and firing each time.

The result was a panic, as bits of brain and blood splatter flew everywhere, like a nightmarish rain that ruined everybody's day. People were left dazed, confused, and in fear.

The Tokko man soon disassembled his L96A1, put it away inside a specially designed briefcase, and, left.

"The RALM has gone too far, Ms. Ayasugi. Call off your men now, or we will come and call them off for you. It was you who started this, for a seemingly meaningless cause, and took the village, and killed seven civilians. For what? Anime?

Well, if you continue with the deaths, and continue to test my patience, then you will answer to the Comatic military. You should wisely hearken to me. You may speak a good 'Saber-rattle,' but I still vaguely wonder what you have to show for it.

You must be looking for trouble, Ms. Ayasugi. May I remind you that you're already skating on thin ice with Pacitalia and Comatica, and the murder of six agents - despite the fact that they were agents - is unacceptable. The IIB agents were more alert than before. The recent killing of their comrades had shaken them, and as a result, each man held his gun just a bit closer.

As it happened, six IIB agents were walking around, with Mini-Uzis, for protection. They were going home, to a quiet rest.

Unbeknownst to them, the Tokko had rigged the cars of the IIB agents previously. They had broken in, randomly picked fifty cars, stole them, rigged them with fifty pounds of SEMTEX each, and returned them to their original spot.

As the men got inside their autos, they inserted their keys, and started their cars.

To their horror, they soon were engulfed by massive explosions, and the parking lot became filled with debris and twisted metal.

IC: The IIS and IIB were on high alert, and Regulus was running on high stress. He had been working around the clock for several days now, trying to get any RALM men they could find. Meanwhile, agents from both the IIS and IIB were not permitted to travel outside without a firearm. The risk was too high.

Emperor Titus was to be kept safe, and to be guarded at all times by the Vedquestrandrun (OOC: See Factbook, under "Special Forces"). No one was to be permitted in the Palace without government issued ID.
