Port Royal, Roycelandia
His Imperial Majesty Emperor Royce I has attended the premiere of the first movie to be made entirely in 3-D Hologrammatic Format, which has been described as "A Triumph of Roycelandian Technology and skill!"
The film, entitled "The Treasure of The Pharoah" is a feature length 3-D Hologrammatic Film, starring some of the biggest names in Roycelandian Cinema.
Unfortunately, the Hologram Technology didn't allow for the recording of sound, so the film had to be done in the style of a 1920s Silent Movie, complete with orchestra playing the soundtrack.
Critical reaction to the movie has been overwhelmingly positive, with many people praising the cinematography, acting, and overall impact of the film.
"It bridges the realm between the Theatre and Cinema" His Majesty said at a post-screening conference. "And it can only bring good things to Roycelandia. Especially as I own the controlling share in the company which invented the technology... Ah, crap, did I just say that out loud?"
A whole series of Hologrammatic films are in production, with sound recording "high on the priority list", according to the Roycelandian Film & Cinema Society.
