Public demonstration put down in Natoa

This morning, thousands of Natoans gathered in Victory square in the Capital of the small Pacfic nation of Natoa to rally against what they believe to be an oppressive regime. General Ommera consulted his top advisors and called out the army to disperse the peaceful gathering. The protesters began throwing bottles, rocks, and other small objects at the Army units. The General then ordered his troops to fire on the protest. 43 civilians were killed, another 167 were wounded in one of the most bloody days in the history of this isalnd country. Only three years ago did it achieve independance from the British Empire. When news of this tragedy reached neighboring cities, thousands more turned out in protest. The Government began to stations military units in all cities and villages. As of now news about the protests is locked up tight by the Royal Natoan Guard.
