Trebizond, Euroslav Turkey/Asia Minor (AP)- Today, President Gordon Lew, in the spirit of defending the oil concessions of the Xenizen Petroleum Company, has announced plans to base 100,000 troops on various installations in Euroslavic Turkey, as well as newly developed Super Crotale SAM missiles and Guardian Laser Anti Missile Systems to defend against air assault.

This development, occuring after the intervention in Turkey by Nikolaos the Great, follows a military action by Xenizen troops to retake oil resources taken without compensation by the previous government.

The troops, to be called in from the Home Guard and existing units in turkey, are to remain for five years, and are to be rotated every five years as such.

Euroslavia has confirmed the report that Upper Xen will be establishing a base within its territory of Turkey, and will cooperate with Upper Xen to establish its base in the most efficient way possible.

The Comrade made a statement about the establishment of a foreign troops within his own nation.

"Today will be known as a day where Euroslavia has cooperated with foreign powers in establishing peace within our territory, and creating a balance within Asia Minor. The cooperation between us and Upper Xen is the start of a new friendship, which can only get better from here."

Meanwhile, as this occurred, 24 C-17's, 56 C-5's and 25 An-225's, flew to Euroslavic Turkey with the equipment and resources needed to get them started.

They radioed the Euroslavs. "Euroslav Air Command, this is the 345th Air Transport Wing. We are delivering supplies and resources to your neck of the woods, requesting permission to land."

"Permission to land in Euroslavic territory. Granted. Once all of your supplies have landed, direct us to exactly where and how you want your base to be established. We will send our own assistants to help you in the creation of a base. We will request that the base is not very large...however, this is something we will deal with when you land. All of the details will be worked out in time.

There are some restrictions you should know about, as well as some of the laws that your troops must commit to, before any such base will be created. For now though, please land in the nearest airport."

"Got it."

The air fleet landed at the nearest airport. The men began unloading crates and supplies, and motor vehicles of all kinds came out of the planes.

A liaison officer rushed out of the planes. She was a relatively short woman, and she looked to be in a hurry.

She walked out, and radioed the Euroslavs. "Okay, guys, we're ready to go. Our orders are to go to the main Northeast XPC refinery hub in Trebizond and place our men there. Now who can I talk to sort this stuff out?"
