"No longer do we pay taxes to allow our opressors to control us, no longer do we allow our people to be oppressed by the Africaan barbarians. We are to be free and have a self set up government. We shall no longer face the Africaan ZZ and other military rbanches as the leaders. We do not recognize the Kilgar as the the leader of the Casion Island Chain. We recognixe no Africaan as our overlord and we will fight and die for such freedoms! " screamed the man on the television.
Thousands of Afrikaans[Africaans in Casian] watched in horror as many wondered, who would take control of the Casions and what the Afrikaan Military would do. The Response would shock the world.
"We no longer recognize Altek as our currency, Afrikaan as our language or do we accept the control by a brutal and evil oppressive regime! We no longer believe that the oppressors are near correct, we believe that we can live as a peaceful nation in the shadow of the Kilgarian horde no more! We NEED peace, we need more freedoms, we need less control and we no longer require Afrikaan supremecy! Let the new year bring a new generation of peace for us all." yelled the man on the television once more.
"That was Joshua Legrad, the elected Presidential Minister of The Casion. He has declared the Casion province of Afrika a free state of the Afrikaan Umpire, the islands roughly one thousand miles away from Afrika's mainland, has been a colony for a long stateof time. Afrikaan soldiers recently were withdrawn after a request for its own military. The Casion military was last reported at one-hundred thousand soldiers, all well trained and equipped with the latest weaponary." reported the person as the speech ended.
Thousands of people all over the Casion Islands lit up with a smile as they were officially free from the Kilgarian Regime. People all over Afrika were going to have to react...and it was their fealings that would result in the action.
OOC: [To brief you all, The Casion is an Afrikaan puppet, which has been that way for a while. I am going to let The Casion go on a different path as soon as I let the Casion become free, I want to have a socialist puppet so I can be on both sides of the story a bit better. -AfrikaZkorps]
