It was a bright day in the coastal Jarridian city, Kiakor. The sun shone brightly, the sky was clear, and sea rolled gently against the beautiful sandy shores. President Jarrod Branam stood next to his podium in fron of the JIAMG (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=347586) and watched as the crowds continued to increase in volume along the beach. Nearly 3 Billion people were expected to pass through Kiakor in the duration of the 5 day festival. Jarrod began to speak.
"It has been a long time coming that our troubled world can experience a new revolution through music. Culture is one of the things that can cross language boundaries, the lines of war, racism, and everything else that keeps us separated.
Jarridia has decided to host this festival, not for our own recognition, or for money, but to extend peaceful ties to all nations and people's, and declare that more is out there than blood and gore.
It is time for us to begin anew. To rise up from old habits, and embrace our neighbors in a sense of global unity. In this one festival there are over 800 groups that will perform. Many of these are from foreign nations. Together, they have come here for you to witness the wonders of Musical Culture in all of its forms, and to show that no matter what differences we have, we can work together and stand united.
The time has come for you all enjoy what Jarridia has created over the past few months, and we certaily hope this will not be the last. Let me be the first to formally welcome all of you to Jarridia, and may our ties continue in peace. ENJOY!"
The crowd began to clap at the speech delivered by the Jarridian President, and soon the crowd was on the move to visit the Jarridian International Art and Music Gallery (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=347586), or to find their favorite genre or group.
