the problem with going down the orc path is that some old bat is going to make a prophesy, then in about 20 years time the some of some in bred retarded chief will be killed but his blonde son will be spared and somehow avoid being molested, grow up with 18 inch biceps and a rounded personality despite hauling coal from the mines.

he will stumble across a sword of power, and rally 10,000 locals to form a ragtag army which is actually a decoy for a strike party consisting of said boy hero, his true love, his sidekick, his mentor, and the token comic relief, which despite being hopelessly outnumbered and outgunned will wipe out your entire command structure allowing the orcs, which were fighting independently and successfully till this point to be completed routed by a force 1/100 their size.

the boy will be crowned king wiping out any chance of democracy. the kingdom will be happy as long as you conform to the principles of nobility, lese majesty, and the absolute power of the monarch, the orcs will be dispossed and wiped out, except for a few token numbers which will be hunted for sport.

the boy will grow old, start dementing, molest every female in sight leaving a host of bastard children to contest over the kingdom which will fall into disrepair and ruin allowing some evil despot to take control backed by an army of orcs enslaving the blonde poster children for the nazi party.

the new despot will set up shop happily backed by his/her/its massive orc army until some old bat makes a prophesy blah blah blah

the orc route is the most dangerous to go down, unless you subscribe to the mary gentle 'grunts' philosophy on realistic combat involving forces totally outnumbering the good guys.

"pass me another elf this one is split' only occurs rarely in the fantasy mythology. the bigger the odds the more likely the 1/100,000,000 chance occurs with 1/2 regularity.

don't be fooled into a sense of self satisfaction by whacking hte kids mentor.

in fact find the kid, and give him a job in charge of your guards in an outlying post, or kill all children and divide the orcs in black orcs and grey orcs and use one to enslave the other, thus avoiding the whole hero concept, and wipe the human species, they are a troublesome lot for throwing up fantasy heros who despite 1/100,000,000 odds, fight through the regular monotony

ooc: I never thought I'd say this to any Sephrioth nation but you could probably have more Warg Riders than that.
Also, wizard has one "z".
I'm not going to comment on the Materia Troopers because I don't know what they are.
Finally, do you have any siege weapons? Without catapults etc. you are going to be horribly defeated in siege warfare.

Anyone with two dozen ents and a bunch of grumpy seedlings attacks at night and presto chango...no uruk hai army.

and sauron had a bunch of orcs capable of fighting by daylight, everything went fine until the eye copped a poke and a pygmy with flat feet and homosexual tendencies wandered into the frey, and 20 seconds later 50 rangers so inbred numenoureans who would have had more congenital disorders than the psych ward in a mental institute, a bunch of brain dead battle weary drunks from Minas Tirith and a bunch of unkempt unclean horse molesters wiped out saurons army including giants, trolls, oliphants, and tens of thousands of orcs....

don't go down the orc path. get yourself some nukes, some psycho religious troopers, equip them with armalites and m202 grenade launchers, apache helicopters and drill your private school preppies at westpoint and you have a handy army.

Orcs = ruin...in fact the bigger the odds the more likely you'll get vapped.
