A large group of organized liberals, known as Sel Appan Free Rights(SAFR), announced a demand that all representatives be elected to a parliament. This would go against over 550 years of our history. With only eight referendums on Earls, it doesn't seem necessary to change our system. Yet, SAFR still wants changes, and soon.

The group warns of possible uprising among its more militant members, but says they do not support military action yet. Nevertheless, an extra guard or two was assigned to each earl.

Interestingly, SAFR is a strong supporter of Grand Archduke Kirby. This isn't surprising, since his approval rating is over 96%, with 3% undecided. Anvorbuod itself said it would have the Grand Archduke as their Head of State.

Sel Appans will be watching to see how this will develop, but the demands are not expected to be fulfilled.

Though I do not consider The Confederacy and Sel Appa on wonderful terms, I consider The Confederacy and Liberals on even worse terms. I encourage Sel Appa to silence these Liberals who are most likely planning a revolution against the Sel Appan Administration.

Redvolutionists have taken have taken twenty-five bank CEOs and three tax collectors hostage. They have posted their demands on a website:

"...We will release the hostages if all government officials surrender their salaries and the 25 companies from which we have taken CEOs dissolve or are dissolved..."

The Companies include the National Oil Federation, Damisco Automotives, and Tenap Hotels and Resorts.

The group gave a 72-hour deadline and then the hostages will be executed one evey hour. This informaiton has just been released although nearly 68 of the 72 hours have gone by.


Another group of Redvolutionists have captured parts of Anila City. The House of Earls is approving sending troops there. Grand Archduke Kirby would like to hold a mini-summit, but it doesn't seem likely and would probably be in vain anyway.

Foreign nationals asking if they should leave the country were told that was not necessary as of yet.

If you need any troops in order to dispose of these "Revoulutionists" we are willing to send a detachment of the 7th Dragon Battalion To put a stop to these useless rebellions.

IC: All 28 individuals were executed by firing squad. No photos or videos have been released as of yet. Another 12 tax collectors were taken hostage a few days ago. All but one have been executed, except one, who was hung. Earl Harry III of Annex was nearly taken hostage, but bodyguards subdued a hostage taker. The other two escaped.

Grand Archduke Kirby has officially announced a state of emergency. He has suspended the House of Earls and has become absolute ruler of Sel Appa until further notice. As president of the HoE, I become Archduke and second-in-command.

We haven't decided to deploy troops yet, but we probably will. The entire nation has been placed under curfew between 2300 and 0730. No one can enter or leave our entire federation for any reason. Further info will be released when available.

OOC: Wouldnt full border closeure be a little drastic? What are they going to do? Leave? Wouldnt that be what you wanted?

The province of Anila has become overrun with socialist rebels. The rebels have set up a government and are focusing on executing enemies and building up an army.

Unfortunately, weapons from the previous Anvorbuodan War for Independence and many converted vehicles used by Anvorbuod were still left in warehouses in Anila City.

An entire 250-member spy corps has infiltrated the rebels. Their report indicates that rebel troops number around 350,000 guerillas. They also note that the rebels have a few dozen tanks that are perfectly capable for combat. They also have information on artillery, most of which was improvised, and minor combat vehicles, such as converted pickups.

Grand Archduke Kirby has assigned General Aboud Sheikh, who led the Sel Appan Forces on Anvorbuod, to any military events during this crisis. He has also asked that foreign nations not send any troops until requested.

Several thousand soldiers have been deployed into Nemnenait ot protect the capital form falling. They have begun setting up fortifications. The Reserve is being notified that they may be called up and not to make any major plans for the next six months.

Rebels began an invasion of the province of Kozak a few days ago. They made significant ground into the province, which leans to the Socialist Party. The provinical government has nearly approved secession from Sel Appa. The province of Anila, where the Redvolution started already seceded.

T'lopiq has also seceded from Sel Appa to the Rebels. It is expected that the province of Priat may follow soon, as they are strongly a socialist province.

General Aboud Sheikh has begun calling up more soldiers to Nemnenait. A total of 10,000 soldiers have holed up in the city. With the new soldiers, that number will become 25,000. Also, soldiers are being called to the province of Demmahom, before the Rebels completely overrun Kozak.

Last night, Rebels, now numbering somewhere around 950,000, surrounded the province of Reddingham. At midnight, a cannon shot off and nearly a million feet stepped into the province. They began to gain fringe land quickly, but after a few hours met minor resistance. By the afternoon, nearly half of the great province was taken.

General Aboud Sheikh has withdrawn all of the 1,200,000 troops called up to Nemnenait. He declared full martial law. And a 23-hour curfew. Only between 1200 and 1300 could citizens leave their houses. At any other time, only an emergency would permit people to leave.

The general also dispatched 150,000 soldiers to defend Demmahom, which was largely untouched by the Rebels.


Nemnenait:

We sat there waiting. Waiting. For what? The rebels have swamped most of the nation, they would be here soon. The general had everyone move here, to Nemnenait, where we prepared huge defenses. Our capital could not fall, we have plenty of food for everyone. It is rationed evenly. Well, we will just wait.

In a strange turn of events(to the gov't of Sel Appa)...

A paid warfleet of Naiglebi ships steamed into Nemnenait Harbor. They were apparently bankrolled by the socialists. Nemnenait citizens along with some 750,000 soldiers formed a coup and ousted Grand Archduke Kirby and Archduke Juvanya. Both fled to Fizroe Island, but have not applied for amnesty in another nation.

The coup said it will surrender Sel Appa to the socialists.



The socialists following the wake of the coup stormed into Nemnenait today. They began assuming control of Sel Appa and are finalizing plans for government.
