Despite the terrorist attacks by the rouge nation of the Real Anime Liberation Movement, President Carpenter is predicting a full recovery for PIcaRDMPCia, thanks to the valient efforts of many, many countries, especially Henrytopia. Through their efforts, it is predicted that the major highway systems of New Holandisburg, Vrened, and the capital city of Bailey will be restored shortly, through some advanced construction technology pioneered by scientist Michael Wismar of the University of Bailey. Also, clean-up of Vreden's nuclear waste is already nearing completion thanks to some anti-radiation technology given to PIcaRDMPCia by one of the aiding nations. Vreden itself, however, will have to be completely rebuilt, but according to the former residents, they're up to the challenge. Resident Chris Potter had this to say: "I'm just glad that I managed to get out in time before I got radiation sickness...of course I mourn everyone who died in the explosion, but we can't just sit around moping; we've got to get on our feet and get moving again."
Also, President Carpenter had this to say: "Despite the extreme losses of life we have suffered, I am confident that we will recover completely. We are enormously grateful to the international community for their tireless efforts."

In relatated news, Congress passed a measure today asking for an internation coalition against the Real ALM and any supporters of the terrorist organization.

OOC: Well, since I'm still new to RPing I didn't want to go and involve myself with a huge number of people RPing all at once; I wanted to keep it to a small group at first.

Oh btw, I doubt the ALM will stop now they are based in my colony. You are free to try and track them down, eventually leading back to me... (of course I will throw numerous spanners in the works but you know... I'm me :P).

We are pleased that the recovery efforts underway in PIcaRDMPCia are going along well. Our continued support in light of recent events stands, our government has full support of the people and we will continue to assist your nation.
We have experienced a major financial set back but it is a good cause that we as a nation feel we have undertaken. We have also been assisting the nation of Winters End during their time of need after the recent and brutal attack by the Real Anime Liberation Movement.
At the expense of our own economy, we are helping other less fortunate nations in their time of need. We feel confident that the strong ties that we build among our friends will continue and our nation will emerge financially stronger once trade is established and the situation returns to normal.

OOC: Oh yes, the game engine is a lot of fun. There was a five-day streak where my nation was a corrupt dictatorship because I banned campaign financing. >_>

A videotape soon flashed around the internet...the same Irishman that had taunted them before in Winters End was back.

"This is Snake Monahan of the Real Anime Liberation Movement. Just saying hello. We would like you to know we are still alive, and ornery.......don't keep your hopes too up, you don't know what's coming next."

The phone rings at the HDC Command Center, Markus Aston, Commander of the HDC picked up the phone, he knew who it was immediately..

"Sir?"

"Markus, I know you are watching what I am watching. I want you to put our forces on full alert. We already have a mess on our hands and I do not want a PIcaRDMPCia or Winters End on our hands. Do you understand??"

"Yes Sir."

The phone went dead and he hung up. Simultaneously he picked up another phone and dialed.

"Put our forces on orange alert, I want everyone recalled from leave or wherever the hell they are at and back on active duty."

OOC: RALM.. shoot me a line before you act.. you know how to get a hold of me.

President Carpenter pushed a button on his desk. "Jess, would you please send in General Islas?"
After a moment, General Arturo Islas entered the room. "Yes, Mr. President?" he asked in with a hint of a Hispanic accent.
Carpenter stood from his chair and began pacing around the room. "General," he said after a moment, "I need you to work with our intelligence division and Henrytopia; we must, I repeat, must find out where the RALM are hiding and strike them down, because we cannot afford anymore attacks. I might have painted a pretty picture about it for the media, but the truth is it's going to be a much more difficult recovery. We can only do it if we're not struck again, and that is what I need you to prevent."
Islas nodded once, said, "Yes, sir," and curtly left the room.

As a nation, we could not stand by and watch the events unfold without offering assistance to your people. While others may have pledged assistance with words, we took action with deeds.
We have our intelligence branch working diligently to make sure this does not occur within our borders and we also seek out those that lashed against our people working within your national borders.
Our administration has attempted to contact the head of state in Winters End but to be quite honest, the place is a mess and they are dealing with something they could not handle.
We are also attempting to contact the RALM with other diplomatic channels to open discussions with their leadership hoping to reason with them and have them cease hostilities against our nations and the innocents we are tasked with protecting.
I for one, do not wish to see our nation in the state that Winters End is experiencing now nor what your great nation faced most recently.
