OOC: Its a good call for a map, anybody got one/wanna volunteer to make one??

OOC: MY GOD HAS A LOT HAPPENED. ANYWAYS, ACRE UNION IS BASICALLY ISRAEL. THE CITY OF ACRE, WHICH IS THE CAPITAL, IS JERUSALEM, EXCEPT JUST NAMED "ACRE."



Report from the ANN

At the current time, Acre, Tel Aviv, and Haifa have been under bombardments, unconfirmed casualty reports state that military losses are around 900, and civilian losses could be much higher. Many cities have lost power for anything electronic.

The city of Elat, is under invasion from enemy forces, but has been reinforced by allies. More news to come later.


Elat

The city was on fire. Continious friendly and enemy artillery fire was taking out structures left and right. Givati snipers have been posted on roofs and concealed areas. The Industrial zone has received some attacks, but ground troops have been firing Stingers and various AA weapons. Merkava tanks battle it out with the enemy tanks, as the militiamen and Givati Brigade prepare to pull back.

Northern Coast Defensive Formations

The Northern Coast is heavily defended by Merkava tanks, numerous bunkers, complex systems of trenches, and 20-30 miles behind lay artillery guns. The most heavily defended cities in the North besides Acre are Gaza, Khan Younis, Rafah, Haifa, and Tel Aviv. The least defended northern cities are Khan Younis and Rafah.

OOC: Tell me what you specifically want to know. Also, I can't keep up with all these attacks and losses you guys are requesting. If you read my past posts, you guys would know what cities are heavily defended and where you should expect AA fire and such. Also, lay off on the EMPs and lets have a nice roleplay.

By now, the 5th Amphibious Assault Group and 11th Expeditionary Fleet had merged with the 3rd AAG, quadrupling the size of the naval force.


"Sir, Hirgizstanian forces have fired off cruise missiles, after they had maneuvered around our group. The data we're getting from them says they're targetting Acre City, Haifa, and Tel Aviv. Should we assist? They only fired twenty." spoke an eager ensign, one of the ship's command staff, more of a secretary than anything.

Setting down a cup of coffee, the general glanced up, "No. While they're picking off targets, we're plotting an amphibious invasion. We'll need most of our missiles for future operations to soften up our target areas. I'm still waiting for the data from the RAIDs, which was likely reverted to Fleet Command in Rostov and will probably be sent here within the hour, hopefully at least. What's that status on our other allies?"

The ensign nodded towards the computer, "Well, Hataria's pushing inland from Elat but they're facing stiff resistance. They had taken fairly heavy losses from Colchus. Otherwise, Independent Hitmen's fleet, or at least part of it, has merged with our combined fleet. They've sent a transmission stating they're likely going to run some training operations. Their air defense systems will bolster our's and Hirgizstan's."

With a light nod Areventsky spoke up, "Good, good. Anything else of note?"

"Uhh, one other thing... Another nation has entered the fray, pledging support to Acre Union and deploying several thousand forces to assist in the nation's defense. I believe its Parlim (or Osilon, whichever)."

Areventsky simply nodded, "Very well, continue on." He returned the ensign's overly-enthusiastic salute and watched the ensign practically skip away, he shook his head, returning to his work.

Missile strikes, at least for now, would wait until more intelligence was reamed from the UAVs.

Comrades, this is Major General Evgeniy Areventsky [Combined Forces (ARSB) Commander - Mediterranean], we have deployed a number of UAVs to scout potential landing zones for an amphibous invasion. After we read through the data, we will determine target data and coordinates (for missile, bombing, or bombardment strikes), uploading it into the ARSB DefenseNet, of which we will provide you access. The targets will likely include any shore batteries, air defense units, bunkers, command centers, resupply centers, major transportation networks, and known military installations. When targets are chosen, we will likely choose targets all along Acre Union's mediterranean coastline, in order to prevent them from knowing the exact point of landing. Landing point, or even if an amphibious invasion will occur, at this moment in time is unknown. We must ask your thoughts on an amphibious invasion in order to draw off AU forces from attacking Joint Ottoman Alliance forces at Fort Alliance or Hataria's forces.
As for Hirgizstan's request to begin bombardments, you may bombard anything you feel should be, we advise targetting important road junctions, railways, coastal batteries, air defense centers, including radar, as well as general bombardment. We will fire any missiles required if needed by you, otherwise, we will likely wait until UAV-gathered intel can provide us the ability to specifically strike defense systems in our Intended Area of Landing (IAL) near the two ports of Netanya and Hadera.
Once again, we await your ideas on the situation.

Yes, it was a retarded post but I couldn't think of anything to write...

As for the UAVs I launched (primarily the ones at Netanya and Hadera), I just want to know defensive systems in the area, or should I just fire off a bunch of missiles and say they're targeted at 'AU anti-aircraft, command and control, shore defense, etc. etc.' and you'll just decide the losses?

Fifty of the bombers detached from the main fleet and headed toward the city of Elda where Hatarian forces required assistance. One hundred fighters detached from the main fleet to guard them as they headed toward the enemy shores.

Estimated time to reaching within cruise missile range of Elda: 3.5 Hours
Estimated time to reaching within targeting range of Acre: 4 Hours

As the bombers began to get closer to Acre Union they started to increase their altitude to 60,000 feet. The fighters stayed below at 58,000 feet.

As enemy amphibious forces begin landing in the AU, Field Marshall Victor Socorro begins organizing defenses located in the cities.

He believed that Roman Republican and Acre forces could hold rural and other areas. But because his forces are spread thin he will focus on an urban defense.

The Field Marshall left his command tent and walked into the city of Acre.

He would have to fire up the defenders of the city and raise their shattered morale as the Union crumbles all around them.

He would have to give them hope.

Vice-Admiral Roberts got the Credonian and ARSB telegrams at the same time in the air conditioned CIC.

After quickly reading them he replied firstly to Credonia.

Subject: Allied co-ordination and assistance.

An allied commander/co-ordinator is yet to be appointed by the OA President, and so as yet no OA actions have taken place, at least not in a co-ordinated fashion with which it will be essential to work in the near future. We have watched extensive "enemy" air activity over the past days, culminating in the Hatarian fleet attack that you are well aware of. Whilst we are currently not at war then such flights of equipment will probably be safe, although we would recommend a heavier than normal escort due to the various nations supplying men and materials to AU.

Our own intelligence analysists have been working on a target list for a co-ordinated bombing campaign, the details of which are being forwarded to you as we speak via secure satellite communications. They mostly consist of exactly the same kind of target that you have been speaking of, although there is an emphasis on also destroying all enemy armour in theatre. We have specialised tank hunting FA/18's for this exact mission.
With regards an amphibious landing, we lack the necessary assets in theatre to allow for such a move on our part, and therefore can only provide air and naval support. The surface action group currently moving through the Suez, is a specialised landing support one, and should be found useful to any offensive that does take place.

The Hatarians soon send their Cobrahawk Helicopters to attack the enemy Tanks. They soon Se the enemy tanks. "There they are!" the leader said. "Lets Unlesh Hell!!!!!" The Helicopters fired their Anti-Tank Missiles on the enemy tanks.

In the Gulf of Aqaba, what was left of the First Invasion Force joined up with the second Invasion force. "Have their troops land and surround The city, Don't let any Acre Union Troops escape." said Fiel Mashal Ming.

The Hatarians soon start landing the Troops from the first Invasion Fleet and start to surround Elat.

We're unlikely to be using our Torrents in any strikes until we are ready to land our forces, but we will be using our Sea Shadows and other ships to strike major cities in a continued bombing campaign, named Operation Fullback.

We are planning to have our 2 Battleships, as well as a number of submarines and cruisers leave formation to go and provide a constant 'old fashioned' naval bombardment whenever we get within range of the AU Coast, we request some assistance in this matter, some ships to protect the battleships or another battleship would suffice if you can spare it.

The two Sea Shadows that had fired off missiles earlier had since rejoined the Task Force and had been resupplied.

Another gap was made in the formation of ships, and out came 5 Sea Shadows and 2 Arleigh Burke AEGIS', with 2 Seawolves churning along below the waves.

The Sea Shadows once again formed up, their missile hatches open. Each Craft was set to fire 15 SM-7 Missiles, 75 in total.

After all 75 had been fired the group prepared to return to the formation to resupply. (OOC: There isn't an infinite number of resupplies, but a fleet does have resupply ships, and of course the ships themselves have Arsenals of spare missiles aboard).

IC: already, The Hatarians sent their own Guerilla Fighters to make sure that any enemy Guerillas don't try a surprize attack. there were 500 Guerillas, only 500, they were part of Invasion Force Delta (The Second Invasion Fleet).

One of the Guerilla Patrols spotted enemy Guerillas, Roman Republic no doubt. The Hatarian Guerillas followed the enemy. waiting to attack.

OOC: I already have Guerillas around Elat already, and if you like to know how many Hatarian Troops there are around Elat, there are 50 Divisions in Invasion Force delta, and 110 Divisions from the First Invasion Fleet (It use to have 120, but 20 of the transport ships were sunk so it is 110.)

a Convoy soon heads for Acre Union. it is garded by 12 Empire Class Destroyers and 34 Minesweepers. the Convoy had 10 Troop Carriers carrying the 100,000 Men strong Imperial Gard, the Private army of Emperor Barbarossa himself, under the Command of General Neime Tukaio.

The Gard had 100,000 Men, 50 CT-24 Battle Tanks, 30 FV432 Armored Personnel Carriers, 61 FV106 SAMSON Recovery Vehicles, 48 FV603 Saracen APCs, 43 Mk111 Shorland Armored Cars, 38 FV721 Fox Armored Cars, 23 M35A2 Cargo Trucks, 47 SAXON APCs, 51 FV102 STRIKER Anti Tank Vehicle (with Swing fire ATGW (MAIN)10 Missiles) and 54 FV701 Ferret Scout Cars.

The Convoy is now heading for Acre Union.

The bombers that were diverted to Hatarian positions unleashed a hail of no less than five hundred missiles to destroy enemy formations at Eliat, and enemy supplies, bridges, and all that.

The reamining bombers, roughly two hundred, dropped their two thousand KH-101's in tandem, from two hundred miles off the AU coast. The missiles hurlted forward, ready to destroy their predetermined targets. Most of the missiles were targeting troop formations, bunkers, government buildings, and means of transportation. Civilian units were left basically unharmed, that job was reserved for the SS-18.

IHS Periocles Somewhere in the Eastern Med

A slight cross wind came across the deck as a C-2 Greyhound Cargo plane lined up for landing.

The two fighters that had escorted it in broke off as the aircraft passed through 500 feet on a course for the large carrier deck below and infront of it. The pilot traded the customary look with his co-pilot as he moved his hand to the throttles incase the aircrafts hook missed the arrestor cable.

With a thud they hit the deck, and the cable took up the weight of the craft bringing them to a stop. The aircraft was quickly taxied off the landing strip, as the crew called it, and headed to a bay marked by a crewman with lightsticks in the early evening light that was by now falling on the Med.

As the two prop shafts wound down the stairs were unfolded and one of the crewmen stepped out first, followed by a man in standard army fatigues. He approached the senior of three marines that were waiting for him on the deck and saluted them.As he did this several more people came out of the aircraft dressed similarly to him, and collected map cases, and various other items of equipment before following him and the marines to the "island" of the carrier, and then up several steep ladders to the bridge and CIC.

Walking into the airconditioned CIC the man looked around, putting his green baseball cap on as he did so.

Vice-Admiral Roberts turned to look at him and snapped off a quick salute.

Standing at 6ft 4" General Max Carter surveyed the room. Most recently the commander of 3rd Army based in IH he was the youngest General in the Army at an age of only fourty-five. After a brief stint at the New White House, he had now been promoted to Supreme Allied Commander Ottoman Forces, Eastern Med Theatre. The title was slightly more impressive than the actual job description, as he was more a co-ordinator than a commander. However the need for some kind of co-ordination had been seen by higher authority, and the title would not look bad on his CV if he were to ever look for another job.

"I was hearing a rumbling on the flight in that I've got a command ship?"

"Yes Sir, we have a Seahawk standing by on deck to take you to her. Another will ferry the rest of your staff when they arrive in" he looked at the chart detailing air operations "twenty two minutes Sir"

"Thanks, I'll be getting over there to set up shop. I'll leave my liason here with you now if thats ok?"

"Yeah, we'll fix him up with a bunk in officer country."

The General smiled at that and introduced the two men

" Jim Roberts, Dave May. You two are equal rank so now Sir'ing. See you guys later"

With that he strode out of the room, heading for his helicopter which took off a minute later and headed to Heartbreaker a Blue Ridge Class Command Ship.

Roberts began relaying all the gathered information to May about enemy troop strengths and dispositions as well as friendly status, and positioning, data that was being uplinked to the command ship now one mile from the carrier.

The Main Target of the Hatarian Planes were The enemy Bombers. "Ok. lets show these Pasta-eaters how a Hatarian Fights." said Rouge Leader. The Fighters Fired their Death-Eater-23 Air to air Missiles at the enemy bombers and Fighers, while The SAMs were launched at the enemy Planes.

He glanced up, "Eh, just read it to me..."

The communications officer nodded, lifting the report up so he could read, after surveying it he let down the piece of paper, "Sir, looks like the Ottoman Alliance has appointed Independent Hitmen as the conflict coordinator/commander. And... MedComm has transferred us to the Ottoman Alliance Joint Forces Command, we're under their jurisdiction now, primarily under Independent Hitmen's command. Well, all of us except the 11th Expeditionary Fleet, that's still under MedComm, however, they will operate with us." The officer then read the remaining portion, "And they're replacing you... Since the third and fifth were transferred, you will still remain CFC-M, however you'll relocate to the 11th Expeditionary Fleet. They're sending in an Admiral... Sergei Malakian."


Areventsky nodded, "When is this Malakian arriving?" He turned back to his computer console, at which he spent a vast majority of his time, and awaited a response...

"Uhh... Today, sir. Within a few hours I guess."

"Alright, then I better get this shit done, eh?" He quickly went to work drafting a transmission to Independent Hitmen forces.

Comrade, congratulations on your appointment as Ottoman Alliance Forces Commander. Now, on to business, the 3rd Amphibous Assault Group and 5th Amphibious Assault Group have both been transferred to joint Ottoman Alliances Forces control, the 11th Expeditionary Fleet will remain and will support operations if requested, however, they are still under ARSB command (Mediterranean Combined Forces Command). Due to the change of leadership, I will no longer be left in command of the ARSB assets now attached to the Ottoman Alliance forces, however, I will remain in theatre aboard the 11th Expeditionary Fleet.

The new commander of ARSB assets under joint Ottoman Alliance control will be Admiral Sergei Malakian, who will be arriving in theatre sometime today to assume command of Task Force Mediterranean, 3rd AAG and 5th AAG.

I must inquire on what future plans concerning Acre Union are, we are prepared for an amphibious invasion, and can easily pull one off with the assets we currently have. We advise that if an amphibious invasion is allowed, that it be coordinated with forces already on the ground in Acre Union, or launched in unison with those forces, in order to further confuse enemy defenders. However, as joint forces commander, it is your decision.

Within two hours Areventsky received word from radar operators and communications personnel that Malakian was in bound aboard a C-58A light transport along with his command staff. Apparantly, Malakian came from Combined Forces Command - North Atlantic. Areventsky was sure that Malakian would enjoy the new scenery. Areventsky was packed and ready, his gear already aboard the RNS [i]Admiral Vinogradov, the first ship of the Adm. Vinogradov-class medium assault carriers, command ship of the 11th Expeditionary Fleet.

Major General Areventsky, in his dark green field uniform, stood on the deck of the RNS Magnum, surrounded by a half dozen Combined Forces Command - Mediterranean aides and advisors. He watched the small twin prop C-58 with its triple vertical stabilizers drop from altitude, making slight adjustments as she prepared to land. As she came closer her nose lifted and her landing gear hit the deck. She rolled across until the catch wire snagged the hook on the rear of her fuselage. As it let off it slowly turned, its turbo-props powering down while deck crew hurredly ran out to the aircraft, placing wheel blocks to prevent the aircraft from rolling. The crew then unlatched the door to the C-58A with its built in crew ladder, pulling it down onto the deck, snapping it into place. The crew then each rose to a salute as a few advisors left first, most of them being senior officers. Then came the admiral, dressed in his bleach white officer dress uniform. He descended down the ladder, returning the crew's salutes. He lifted his officers cap off of his head and rested in between his left arm and body as he approached the Major General.

Areventsky lifted his right arm to salute, snapping a nice, respectable salute, "Sir, welcome aboard."

The admiral chuckled, "Thanks, I like the scenery, alot greener down here. Beautiful."

The major general released the salute, "Well, everythings ready, I assumed you got briefed on your way down?"

"Yep, read most everything." He nodded, glancing around at the large fleet of ships surrounding him, vessels from three nations.

"Good, if you missed anything I left some reports in your quarters. If you need anything, give me a call, I'll be with the Eleventh. Now, I've got a tight schedule, MedComm wants me on the Vinogradov in..." He lifted his watch, "Ten minutes. Doesn't look like I'll make that time eh?"

"No, 'spose not." The admiral gave the major general a curt nod as the general made his way past, hurrying towards the waiting C-58A.

The general stopped and quickly spun around, "Admiral! Congrats on the appointment, trust me, its alot better down here then up there! I'll see ya around!" He grinned and leapt up into the C-58A, with his advisors in tow. The admiral laughed lightly, this was much better than the North Atlantic. He watched the C-58A taxi into position to launch, then lifting off into the air, heading for the 11th Expeditionary Fleet.


Sergei Malakian had a few enlisted men take his gear up to his officer's quarters in the Magnum before surveying the bridge and command facilities of the ship. He was impressed, the Magnum, was, by far, one of the most technologically advanced vessels in the Navy's inventory. He had been stationed aboard one of the pre-update vessels, one that was still using near-Cold War technology.

Greetings Admiral Malakian. Plans are still being formulated, however we are fairly confident that a landing by OA joint forces will be co-ordinated with an attack by elements of the Credonian Northern Army, currently stationed in country.

Due to situations beyond our control we are unable to give an exact timeframe when the Credonian Army will begin operations. However when they do begin, OA joint forces will conduct a landing operation on the coast after hostile reserves and other assets have been diverted away from our proposed landing zones. This will also be co-ordinated with a paradrop further inland to secure vital installations and infrastructure for the speedy advance of ground forces into the AU interior and hinterland.

We also hope to start a major allied air offensive when war is declared in order to prevent the enemy from launching their own co-ordinated offensive against our fleets arrayed in the Med, and then the subsequent beachhead that will be established.

I will relay more details to you, as soon as they become available to me and if you have any input on this please do not hesitate to contact either myself or my staff.

The only thing they were pleased about was not having to paradrop, so they knew they wouln't fall prey to some madman with an old AK.

However, away from the numerous Hangers and Staging area that bustled with the 18,000+ troops of the 8th AAD, there was a small 1 story building separate from the main staging areas. The building was squat, long and non-descript amongst the 10 others that looked the same. Only two were occupied, one by the 8th AAD's elite Pathfinder Company who would be paradropping into Fort Alliance before the rest of the division, the other building was occupied by the 1250 soldiers of the elite 3rd Battalion, 85th Ranger Regiment (Airborne). The Pathfinders and the Rangers would be the first in, the Pathfinders would be the first as they only needed one flight in a C-141 Starlifter. 2 C-380's would follow over the next 24 hours to bring in the Rangers, followed by 30 More Flights of C-380's (can carry 1100 Troops or 490 Tons of Cargo in standard lift pods, or up to 12 LP-M8 Light Tanks or 18 LAV-25's in the NCT/T-76 Armoured Force Pod, C-380 is ARSB Built and is operated by a special Brigade in all COH Airborne formations).

OOC: Sorry this came so long after my first post, my computer broke. :headbang: Anyway here it is. Sorry if it seems like I am god moding, but I am still getting the hand of RP'ing. If I am just give me some suggestions.

A large grim man clad in large swaying black robes walked out from the bridge of the Holy Retribution, a dreadnought in the holy navy, and looked out across the sea around him. It looked a bit like a nightmare of a small child would. He smiled. The sun barely shown through the smog and sky webs that floated above the fleet. The smog and sky webs were really just elaborate defences against enemy air power. They had almost no jets with them. All of Acre Unions air bases had fallen to EMP fire and the navy was not keen on aircraft carriers. The smog made visual identification from a fighter or bomber very difficult. Sky webs were an elaborate creation of one of the many war magisters. Above the fleet thousands of large reinforced hydrogen balloons floated with large steel razor cords between them. The whole design of the thing was absolutely brilliant. It floated at the perfect altitude with the aid of a complex weight system and could follow the fleet with the aid of motors on each balloon. A dogfight or bombing runs through it were almost suicidal. Either one would hit a balloon and die a fiery death, get caught up in wires and be disabled and fall to the sea below, or be so intent avoiding the whole web that they fail to dodge or even notice anti air fire. It did cause massive damage to the enviorment though, and limited air support.
He strolled down a steep staircase and turned his attention to the fleet. It was as grand as it was terrible. It consisted of:

This fleet was not a brunt tool, it required finesse. This commander had plenty of that. This fleet guarded another that was transporting the army that would make land fall after the Hatarian navy was defeated. The Navy was closing in on the Guld of Aqaba and the Hatarian navy would soon be in range. The navy was unaware of any patrol craft, but that did not mean that there were not any. Still it was not quite an issue yet, being beyond normal air patrol distances.
The salty air bit at the admirals face. With a frown he returned to the bridge of his flagship. The Hatarian Navy would be in range of the black ships within the hour.

OOC: Also who are the allies of AU right now? Also can I have a quick over view of force placement? If forces are hidden still post them, just say they are hidden. I will start.

My navy which I just posted about is just outside of the bay of Aqaba. About 100 miles behind them are a large invasion force with a naval escort. Whether or not someone knows they are there is up to there intelligence reports/ scouts.

As for The Infinite Crucible, They were going to meet something soon, Real soon...

the Hatarians had set Mines in the Gulf of Aqaba, in case someone not Hatarian or not any of the allies against AU tried to attack from Behind, and Barbarossa had ordered subs to Patroll The Red Sea.

34 Subs had Spotted The enemy Fleet and warned the Hatarian Invasion Force. the Fleet Prepeared for a battle at sea.

OOC: Crucible, tone those numbers down a bit. I couldnt find ur nation on NS, when i searched the world for it it said it didnt exist so I dont know ur economy and such. However i think 50 cruisers from a month old nation is a little excessive.

Long range UAV's had been sent up from the carrier during her transit of the Suez to get a picture on Hatarian operations around Elat and how successful they were.

The three Darkstar drones had climbed to 60,000 feet and then used their high-quality colour video cameras to look down on the action below, thermal vision was needed in some areas where the oil smoke was too thick to penetrate with normal cameras. Their small size, and stealth material coating would make them extremely hard to detect and virtually impossible to get missile lock on.

Intelligence anaylists were determining that Hatarian troops were facing higher than expected resistance and that they had already encountered guerrila style attacks upon them.

Also more worrying the sensors onboard had detected traces of sarin gas in the atmosphere a fact later confirmed upon further analysis of the tapes showing dead soldiers.

This information was quickly shot off to J City, along with a CRITIC heading that meant it was in the Presidents hands within fifteen minutes of being generated.

The response had been recieved ten minutes previously, and was now just about to come into effect.

From armouries deep in the carrier technicians with armed marine escorts began punching in codes on the large airsealed steel doors. The warning sign on the front of these confirmed that chemical and biological weapons were held within. When sensors detected no harmful or dangerous substances in the air the doors were opened and the technicians moved in to perform maintenance on the collection of missiles and bombs to ensure that they were ready for use, should they be called for.

The doors were sealed behind them and the marines stood guard.

On all other ships in the two battle groups now in the Eastern Med, NBC suits and seals were checked but not put on.

They weren't at war yet.


Admiral Lothian sat in his seat in the CIC, recieving a briefing from his Intelligence Officer on possible enemy naval forces and air threats and then upon assets that they had travelling to theatre.

"Ok, Land wise we have two Battalions of Marines in Fort Alliance. They are dug in hard and deep with prepared fall back positions, but are light on artillery and heavy support they would be relying on air support to keep them from being pushed back too far. Better news, I Corps is just about loaded up and headed into the Black Sea, Intrepid will continue with the ARSB surface group as we can use land-based fighter escort for the convoy. Thats made up of eight RO/RO's per division plus another twenty carrying the extra's that come with the corps. Lt General Mcknight is flying out to Periocles to co-ordinate."

"Anything else?"

"No Sir, Raider is not due to check in for another three hours, and the other sub that went after the Colchus fleet has returned to the Periocles group."

"Ok thank you Commander."

"Sir." He left and the Admiral followed him towards the bridge where he stood surveying the scene around him.

About four miles West of him he could see Independence, aircraft launching from her deck, and in between them the missile cruiser Grisly. Past the carrier on the horizon he could see numerous other destroyers and frigates, whilst behind his carrier came the support ships.

Turning his gaze to the east and the threat axis he saw Hawk and Sabre sailing in column with another missile cruiser inbetween them and yet another behind them. Although he couldnt see it past the battleships massive 20" guns there were the outer SAM and sonar pickets, in most cases two frigates, that were guarding against possible enemy attack that would spark a war.

OOC: Crucible, tone those numbers down a bit. I couldnt find ur nation on NS, when i searched the world for it it said it didnt exist so I dont know ur economy and such. However i think 50 cruisers from a month old nation is a little excessive.

Our 'Hammerhead' [A 750lb Anti-Shipping Missile capable of ripping through 22 Inches of re-enforced steel, i.e. most ships bulkheads which are usually only 8-11 inches. The package is 750 Pounds of HE and has a strike-delay fuse which allows maximum hull penetration-before-detonation.] Missiles are ready to launch, we have 35 aboard, and the Roger Gruneisen is carrying the same. With permission sir i would like to task myself and the Gruneisen, as well as 2 Arleigh Burke's for a strike."

Slowly but surely the Armada of grey ships opened up to reveal two fast moving vessels that stayed low in the water and looked extremely aerodynamic. They were followed by 2 Arleigh Burke Class Cruisers, and 2 Seawolves beneath the waves. Like the Sea Shadow's the manouvred away from the Fleet and set up into firing positions.

The Arleigh Burke's were the first to fire, the AGM-84's breaking out of their cells and shooting up into the sky. 8 were launched from each Arleigh Burke, 10 aimed for the Emperor Class Black Ship Dreadnought of the Crucible Fleet, a further 6 aimed for another Dreadnought.

The Torrents then opened up themselves, taking over 15 minutes to fire 20 Missiles each, 40 in all. 5 were aimed for a Bio Cannon amidst the crucible Fleet, 5 for a Death Corps Launcher, 10 at yet another Dreadnought, 5 at a High Powered Black Hand (OOC: You couldn't explain your fleet a little, its a little 'out of left field' as it were.) and the remaining 5 were fired into the centre of the 'Fire Ships' so that, in all hopes, they would ignite one another with the ensuing explosion.

(OOC: Please post your losses Crucible. This'll probably test your RPing skills, and whether or not you should 'come back later', i hate that ignore cannon thing, its only good for those guys that launch a 'trillion nuclear warheads at u'1)

My troops ARe wearing the Objective Force Warrior, but they are not fire-proof, only 60% fire- resistant. My recon teams have moved to a new location to get rid of your troops. the Commander's Guerilla Infanty is still continuing to fire on the other side. Since their is a trench of fire. My C-17's will put it out.

OOC: Ok I will try to explain my fleet a little bit. I really wanted to have a distinct and menacing feel to my armed forces so I tried to make them very unique.
Bio Cannons fire armor piercing shells that just open a few seconds after impact and release whatever disease they may be carrying.
Death Corps Launchers fire something akin to a glider that fly towards enemy ships. Eash glider has 8-12 death corps soldiers on it. They then board the enemy ship and try to disable it. They are infected with small pox on the flight over.
Black Hands fire armor piercing shells that let out poison gas upon penatration. The gas depends on the shell fired.
Hope that explains it a bit.

Johnson sat zoned out to the sound of the creaking ship within the vox room waiting for any transmisions from other ships. There had not been one for a while. Suddenly the vox blared to life with a transmision.
"Incoming missile detected! The feed is open!"
His daze was broken as a chilshot through his body. Missiles! He had been trained on what to do, but now that he was actually doing it he felt very frightened. He slammed an emergency button that linked all radar feeds from scanning boats to any ship that needed them. Far above on the bridge radar would be being seen by the commanding officers. This then shot out to every ship in the fleet. All of this took only 30 seconds, they had been trained since birth to do it.
The life of a child in the infinite crucible was a hard one. 3/4's of the year was spent being schooled and in military training. They had the other 4th off. This meant working in a factory to help power the nation. It was hard but made for some extremely well trained soldiers. Everyone served in the military.
**On the bridge of the flagship**
"Get the sky web down! Everyone to battle stations! Make sure those anti missile systems are working!" the orders bellowed out in a quick rythm. Far above the sky web began to lower to try to get in the way of at least some of the missiles. The first missiles were there to quickly though.

Many of the first missile flew strait for the flagship. Its anti missile systems kicked in firing a hail of bullets designed to disable missiles into the menacing salvo of incoming missiles. Two missiles engines gave out and another exploded taking a final one with it. Six still screamed towards the flagship. A final one was shit down, but five crashed into the side of the ship. The dreadnought's armor was incredibly thick. Two hit the side blowing away the bulkhead, but fortunatly causing no internal damage. The three remaining ones ripped through the bulkhead and exploded gutting a portion of the ship. The main rail munition room was destroyed, the dental facility, and a small portion of the engine room were all destroyed within an instant. The ship was not crippled, but hardly battle ready with its main form of ammunition being removed.

Another six flew towards one of the flanking dreadnoughts. Only 2 were stopped. One failed to penetrate the armor, but three made it through. They hit there marks well and the ship began to sink very slowly.

The sky web finally fell to the needed altitute to defend the fleet. The remaining missiles would have to miss the many razor wires between the balloons.

Only one of the five missile headed for a black ship were destroyed. The remaining four hit it and it sunk within minutes.

Yet again only one of the missile heading for the death corps crusier was destroyed. Multiple gliders were launched to fly into the path of the incoming missiles. This was in vain though as four crashed into the death corps ship. It was blown in two and sunk in seconds. Pulling ten death corps boarding crafts down with it.

The sky web finally did its part and stopped 4 of the 10 missiles heading for the second dreadnought. Its anti missile systems stopped another 3. Two failed to penetrate the bulkhead, but one made it through blowing the ships medical facilities to pieces.

Another five headed towards the same dreadnought's blackhand. Three made it through the sky web, two made it through the anti missile systems and crashed into the black hands completely destroying them.

Two of the ones headed for the fire ships were destroyed by the sky web. The remaining three came in at eratic places and destroyed three fire ships, the resulting explosions destroyed a total of 15 fire ships.

The Hatarian Guerllias soon Attacked, Coming out of the Pits they dugged and put them selves in, Hideing in them and waiting for RR to attack.

a Few of the Bigger Pits they dug showed what was in them, 15 CT-24 Battle Tanks came out of those and Charged at the enemy.

In The Gulf of Aqaba, The Hatarian Fleet Fired 50 Miano Anti-Ship Missiles, 23 Curise Missiles, and 45 SUBROC's at the enemy Fleet, in hopes of forceing them to BACK DOWN!

OOC: The Miano Anti-Ship Missiles are Armor-Piercing Missiles with a Cemaical Warhead, known as The Death Smoke, Gas Masks are useless with this Gas. It is Acid-like.

The Merkavas were ordered to regroup towards the NorthEastern part of the city. 120mm mortars were directed against enemies that were hitting the very front line of the Givati's. The street fights were truly intense. LAW's and TOW's were being used against enemy armor, the situation in the air was unknown to the Givati's. What had happened to the F-16I's? Bombardments from large missles have been arriving from somewhere, but within the city snipers and heavy machine guns were set up in hidden places and rooftops. The Givati's in the frontline were there from choice. If the enemies kept coming in like this, the entire city would fall, so time had to be bought for the forces falling back to set up another defence.

7 hours later

Around 4000 Givati's remained in Elat. Most Half tracks and APC's were long gone by now, but friendly artillery kept coming in, but not as frequent as before. The destiny of the remaining Givati's remained with God.

12,000 Hatarian Troops soon Entered Elat with 45 Tanks backing them Up. with the Port mostly under Hatarian Control now, it looked like Acre Union and Roman republic's Chances of winning were Long Gone.

Soon, over The City Hall of Elat, The AU Flag came down and The Hatarian Flag was now Flying over The City Hall, to show the shape of things to come. Alreay, Loadspekers were Ordering the Last of The Defeners to Give up, calling their Fight a "Lost Cause".

Already, The Ships Were fireing Curise Missiles at the Northeastern Part of the City, But Hatarian Losses were still coming in, 200 Troops Dead, 56 Tanks Destroyed and still 4,000 enemy Troops in the city, useing Guerllia Type attacks.

This was going to be a Long Battle.

OOC: Infinite Crucible your RP was ok but i'm afraid i will not be RPing with you unless you tone down the size of your forces dramatically...i'm afraid it is too unrealistic, i thought by now you would have amended it but i see you have not so that is my decision.

BTW everyone...i WOULD have had a nice long post that took me the guts of 30 minutes to write but the jackasses who control the jolt forums decided to put a log-out time and so i lost my whole post. I will do something later when i am much less angry.

Does anyone else think the numbers are too high? If so I will tone them down again.

OOC: You have 295 ships, 795 if you include the Fire and Landing ships...and you have a population of below 200 Million. Now the biggest ship in any fleet is invariably the Aircraft Carrier or in your case that Black Dreadnought thing...now a Nimitz Class CVN holds roughly 5,500 Personnel, and the smallest frigates carry over 200 Personnel. Your crew numbers could end up in the Millions somewhere...they may not but they could. Now if this is your entire Navy, bar maybe 10 or so ships then yes its probably about right...but if its just a 'Fleet' then i'm afraid your well off. Until we know for sure i won't RP with you, i'm not being unfair or unjust but since you are new, small and have such a bizzare fleet i'm afraid i'm just being careful.
Also, your Fleet seemed to arrive awfully quickly for someone who has just entered the conflict.
BTW I'm not trying to dissuade you here but this may not be the best RP for a new gamer, it has moved very fast quite recently, like 2-3+ pages in less days, so you may not get the best experience here and with all the RL Maps and locations, not to mention the number of gamers it may not be your best choice.

The 3rd Bn, 85th Ranger Regiment, wasn't long arrived at Fort Alliance when a patrol was sent out, amidst the drone of C-380's ferrying Airborne troops into the base.

The Patrol consisted of two HMMWV's and two DPV's. It headed out of Fort Alliance and began to shadow the rail-line between Ashqelon and Ashdod (roughly were Fort Alliance is). The Railway line passes through a tunnel midway between Acre City (i.e. Jerusalem) and Ramla, West of Acre City itself.

The Rangers set up a LUP (Lying Up Position) in a small indent on the Acre City facing side of the hill. A Sniper and a Spotter moved into a forward position at night-fall...

"Dolphin One, this is Scorpion, over?"

"Roger Scorpion, Dolphin, go ahead."

"Roger, Scorpion one in position, target is lazed, repeat...target is lazed."

"Roger Scorpion, Eagle's one and two are inbound, ETA 12 Minutes, over."

"Roger Dolphin, Scorpion out."

The 'target' was the main highway between Acre City and Tel Aviv.

Out in the Med flying paralell to the Gaza Strip, two JSF-35's roared in toward Fort Alliance, the only really 'freindly' airspace. Both carried BLU-109 JDAM 1000lb PGM's (Precision Guided Missiles) among other weaponry.

"Scorpion this is Eagle 1-1, we're over Fort Alliance, ETA. 3 Minutes, do you copy?"

"Eagle Lead, we copy...target is lazed your coming in behind us so make sure your on target, over."

"Roger Scorpion, best get your heads down."

The JSF's banked up into the sky over Fort Alliance, the levelled and began their bombing run. The Lead aircraft dropped its BLU's and flanked off while the second cruised further, dropped its load and tore off in the same direction.

"Scorpion, Eagle Lead...Bombs away...repeat...Bombs away. We'll be on station for another 10 minutes."

OOC: Alright I see what you mean. I only counted 143 ships, not including the fire ships and boarding craft, but I am going to totally rebuild my force. It will be much small and focus on very different tactics.
Also I launched my fleet a week ago... so while that would be fast in rl for a fleet to get from australia, I think it is appropriate.

The grim room flickered into and out of existance with the flickering of the lights. Captain Dante smiled. How fitting. How could he be sure the room was there when he could not see it. How could you be sure a fleet was there... when you could not see it. No this fleet was not invisible, but very difficult to track and attack. It had masterful anti radar systems, could fire decoys miles away which looked to be full fledged ships on radar, and could outrun most fleets easily. This was what he liked to call a terrorist fleet. It could not stand up in pitched battle, defeating it there would be simple, the real task is getting into a battle. The lights flickered out again. Gone from sight. Only faith could reasure him the world was still there.

Faith was for the Emperor. Dante had never worshipped the Emperor, this was forgiven when it was found that he deligted in pain and was a masterful captain. He had been a criminal in the Infinite Crucible. He had evaded capture for three years. That was a record. Most people made it a week if they were lucky. When they finally got him he got two options. Be a captain for a terrorist fleet or be tortured for life and used for the tier one experiments. He chose to be a captain. He loved it... The lights flickered back on.

The light flickering was a side effect of the anti detection systems. Everyone on a black ship was insane.

"Sir, we are approaching the Gulf of Elat," whispered the maps man.
"Good, order everyone to stop," he smiled. The ships stopped a good 100 miles away from the opening to the gulf of elat.
"There time has come," he whispered.

Far above in the inky black of space a small red light began to blink.

OOC: Numbers are better, some interesting stuff, most of it is quite good actually, although it won't escape the Radar on my Torrent Class and Vampire Class CVN's, but nonetheless its good. One thing i'm uneasy about though...Stalker Air Craft Carrier Subs???? Are you saying that you have an aircraft carrier that can submerge. I only ask because i was interested in the subject but when i sat down to plan a plausible design i found it was quite impossible to make a design that worked, there was always something wrong, so can you explain what it is and if its plausible at all?
I've tried that 'back button' trick numerous times when it happend, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, bloody technology!

"The Ticonderoga's carry 32 ready-to fire with about 64 more, Arleigh Burke's have 16 ready to fire with about 58 more, and the Oliver-Hazard Perry's carry 16 ready to fire with about 40 more...its just the Escort's we're talking about here sir?"

"Correct, you look puzzled Captain, don't be. A little over an hour ago a Virginia Class picked up some strange movements in the water, about 100 miles off the Souther Coast of the AU. I sent in a submerged Torrent and it came back, the Infinite Crucible Fleet has moved in, close to the Hatarian minfield, to attack the Hatarian Navy, i think. Anyway there are, according to the the Torrent ship, 16 submerged objects, all extremely silent, which is why the Virgina SSN couldn't make them out unless it was closer. We picked up surface ships in the same area, the Virginia couldn't pick up 10 of a particular type, some sort of decoy with a radar-avoidance system. Our sat's picked them out, large as life and we have these targets..." The Admiral handed the Captain a file with photographs and a few sheets.

"Sir, there's 46 surface targets, 2 unconfirmed, and you want them...destroyed?"

"Excellent Captain, driftwood is the word, make it happen."

"How many missiles sir?"

"Let's see, lets say 300 from the Escorts...just to make sure...and get the Adam Gregory [Torrent Class] to fire off 2 of the 'Big Blue' missiles, first time in combat for them i beleive."

"Very good sir, watch for the flash..."

The Captain grinned as he walked away, to board a heli for the flight back to his ship.


In the darkness of the night the ships were running quite silently, except for the heavy drone of the mighty Battleships that seemed to dwarf even the Vampire Class Aircraft Carriers. The Night was suddenly shattered as a flash in the middle of the armada shot up into the sky, going out just as another flash went up, two SM-X10 'Big Blue' missiles had lifted off from a Torrent (SM-X10 'Big Blue'- a radar disorientation missile, pat. COH Military Systems. Explodes far above the target sending a modified electrical blast into surrounding radar fields, the radar's become filled with dots and fuzz creating thousands of decoy targets which send the radar-guided AA systems haywire, allowing aircraft (usually used with the Big Blue) to infilitrate into enemy air-space much more safely, or if the need arises, missiles.) close to the head of the combined naval armada. About 1 minute afterward brilliant flashes of light were forthcoming from vessels all around the COH Fleet, lighting up every ship and lighting up the sea for a great distance. The barrage went on for around 5 minutes, constantly firing missiles.

All in all 300 Missiles roared off into the sky, the night returned once the last missile was fired...from day to night in under 10 minutes, the crews of the vessels were in awe at the firepower.

Field Marshal Ming Knew that Roman Republic made a BIG Missake, sending Civilian Planes into a War zone and putting out a fire that protected Them from what they were fighting against (I am talking about RR), and what was In Elat was Deadly, for what every Hatarian named "The Baka Guerllias of the Baka Nation of Roman Baka-Public"

The preparations for "Operation Turukhansk" are ready. Five hundred Ratheian IL-76 Aircraft are about to take off into the skies, closely followed by two hundred and fifty MIG 1.44's. The aircraft are to fly over Eliat and paradrop 50,000 Special Operations troopers, the cream of the Ratheian crop, the branch of the Ratheian GRU that had been in every Ratheian Conflict since the very first.

One hundred Ivan Rogov Landing Ships are en route, heading to rendezvous with Allied Fleets before an attempt to drop troops and tanks to assist the Special Forces. Half of the Rogov's carry 25 T-90 Tanks and Forty BTR-90 APC's. The rest carry 520 marines each. These are to be protected by a fleet of eighty-two MIG-31's, each armed with two Sunburn Anti-Ship Missiles and four AA-13 missiles.

We request that allies send a fleet to assist Ratheian Rogov Ships to their destination.

OOC: Arg… well I see what Hirgizstan meant about losing posts. I just did, but here it is again. About the subs. They look pretty much like large submarines. Planes are brought up from lower decks to the surface and launched. The Japanese made a few during WWII and were going to use them on the panama canal, but we pushed them back far enough they re-tasked them to around Japan. Never saw combat I believe. I figure that if the Japanese can make them I can too. Heard about it on a modern marvel about subs.

IC: Dante looked out at the starry sky, and smiled. Most men were afraid to cross him, for he had a vicious reputation. No one ever saw him smile, only the stars has that privilege.
“Sir we are picking something up on our radar… incoming missiles… wait they are missing us by…”
Suddenly the sky above them was bright with an enormous blue flash. Dante’s skin began to tingle.
“Sir our radar is…”
“Picking up lots of hits?” he replied.
“Yes sir!”
Dante saw the missiles approaching his ship.
“Alright, order all ships to perform a converge deception!”
At least 80 missiles were headed straight for his ship. He knew it would not survive the impact. The anti missile defenses were almost useless now, only a few vibration sensing anti missile guns were firing, with limited success. Dante jumped overboard. His body swam down and away from the ship at an Olympic speed. An instant later the ship was hit by 50 missiles. Nothing remained.
The remaining ships began to pull a converge deception. Two ships would converge and fire multiple decoys around there ship. One would break off with the decoys, appearing to be nothing else. This tactic works quite well, but is by no means full proof.
Seven of the ten defense ships were sunk/blown to high heaven.
Two were damaged and were working at 70% efficiency, and one managed to escape un-hit.
Four of the Six Predators were sunk
One was critically disabled
Two were working at 85% efficiency.
Dante emerged from the oily water near the flaming wreak of a Predator Black Ship.
“Well that was interesting…”
After a few minutes Dante was pulled aboard a defense ship and dried off.
“I need six of those decoy ships to self destruct!” he ordered quickly knowing time was necessary in order to fool the enemy into thinking they had all been destroyed.
Moments later six ships willingly destroyed themselves taking hundreds of men with them. Such was the life of a soldier, you must be willing to make sacrifices.
“I need to know where those came from… they will feel the wrath of the emperor”
The ships began to pull away from the carnage. They began to pull back away from the gulf of elat in hopes of fooling the enemy into thinking they had been destroyed.
“Well it seems I have a worthy chess mate… don’t bring me with you.”
“What!?”
“Let me take one of the small scout boats, I am going to get to Acre Union alone.”
“…alright sir…”
The man had no idea what Dante was up to, but he knew the man knew what he was doing.
A ravaged fleet departed south, but a single small craft the epitome of stealth sped the other way with Dante alone on board.

Far above the Hand of the Emperor began to look for the ships that had fired the missiles. There would be justice.

Pressing the cigaratte's ever-dwindling body to his lips, Captain Yuriy Ashnetskov gently tapped his boot on the Magnum's flight deck. He scanned the horizon with a squinting gaze as the sun was just pushing up from the east. He pulled the cigarette away from his mouth, exhaling the smoke through his mouth. He vectored it off to the side to keep it from obstructing his view. To his right was an aircrew preparing an F/A-41A STOVL aircraft for ground support operations, the clanking of guided munitions being strapped to her hardpoints and air to air missiles slung in her internal carriage.

The Marine captain put the cigarette back to his lips, taking the final drag left in it. He let the smoke through his nose this time as he took every last bit of nicotine and tobacco left. He let the butt drop to the flight deck and his boot ground it into the moist deck. A light crosswind smacked into his right cheek as he faced east, admiring the Mediterranean sunrise, rising over the nation of Acre Union. He could hear the footsteps nearing him but didn't realize it until a voice spoke aloud.

"Beautiful sight, ain't it..." said the man, behind him, with a voice nearly matching Ashnetskov's comrade, Captain Ruslan Ghishenko, commander of B Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Brigade, 31st Marine Division .

"Yeah..." he said, not moving a single muscle."First time I got to see one, I've only been out during the dead of night or the middle of the day. I saw the sunset and now I've seen the sunrise." He was nodding his head as he stared directly into the orange just peeking over the horizon. He sighed before continuing, "What's the plan Roos? We heading out soon or what?" He slowly turned around, his eyes meeting those of Admiral Sergei Malakian.

Before he could react, and come to attention, the Admiral spoke, "No need, Captain..." The captain sighed in relief, blinking a bit. "Roos, who's Roos?"

The captain shook his head, "Buddy of mine, C-O of Bravo Company, Second Battalion." He collected himself before continuing, "I'm, uh, Captain Yuriy Ashnetskov, commanding officer Charlie Company, Second Battalion." He held out his right hand to the man who was his new commanding officer.

The admiral nodded, "Nice to meet you, Captain." He gripped the captain's hand, giving it a firm shake, nearly startling Ashnetskov, who assumed the admiral was more of a desk jockey. "Worried about the operations to come?"

"Nah... Of course not..." He sighed, "When is everything going down?"

Malakian shrugged, "Not sure ourselves. We're awaiting our allies' imput. We have to iron out the details first."

The captain turned his head to Malakian, "Well, to tell you the truth, I really can't wait. Ever since the war with Belem ended, we've trained and sat aboard the ships of the Fifth AAG. It gets a little tiring."

The admiral chuckled, "Yeah... I know how you feel... I spent a good portion of my navy service in the North Atlantic couped up in a little command ship. Talk about punishment." He shook his head, "Mediterranean is much better. At least I can stand out on deck without wearing a parka and goggles." He covered his face with his hands, it was warm... He still had his wind burn from the constant exposure to the harsh near-Arctic climate. He smirked and pulled his hands away, glancing off to the west and south, still a dark purple color with a haze hanging above the water. His eyebrows shot up and he quickly glanced at his watch, "Damn, I'll have to talk to you later, Captain. I've got a briefing to attend. Good morning, have a cup of coffee, relax, I'll talk to you later." He quickly turned towards the door but stopped, turning his head over his shoulder, "Captain. By the way, our allies sent us some disturbing intelligence, there's a potential for biological or chemical weapons to be fired at us. I want your men ready in the event they do, so have chemical suits ready as well."

He nodded, "Take care sir..." He watched as the admiral entered the carrier's island, his brown uniform disappearing into the ship. He stepped around, facing the east again, his eyes dropped to the landmass, Acre Union, which laid in front of them, Better be ready... We're coming. He gave a last searing glance before making his way into the island to interrupt his company's morning duties to inform them of the biological/chemical threat present...

The entire 31st Marine Division had a knack for being a killing force, from their relentless attacks on Belem soldiers in the 'War on Sino' to their continued operations in the Romakian theatre of operations. They were battle hardened and knew what to expect. In fact, they were certain of their capabilities and had, in fact, spray painted the division's motto on the sides of their amphibious assault ships, tanks, landing craft, infantry fighting vehicles, attack helicopters and even on their own helmets. Their motto? Unparalleled Standards of Ass-Kicking. All fifteen thousand of them were ready to hand Acre Union's collective ass back to them in little packages reading "Processed by the Armed Republic of Soviet Bloc"

All elements of the two Marine Divisions (and a few seperate battalions) were prepared and itching to go, awaiting that order to set to sea. The 31st Marine Division was a battle-hardened unit while its sister in the conflict, the 58th Marine Division, was new, most of her troops newly trained Marines. However, the 58th Marine Division had something the 31st lacked, young blood... The new Marines were nearly going crazy awaiting battle. Air assets were also being prepared to support Marine operations.


Also, cruise missiles were being targetted at positions in Acre Union, awaiting the order from the OA Commander to commence operations.

Comrade, thank you for the congratulations wishes. I assure you, this assignment is much more pleasant and appealing than my previous duties in the North Atlantic. As for our operational plans, they remain unchanged. We are prepared and awaiting future orders to commence joint operations.

As for Hirgizstanian fleet information, I must ask, do you have any Marine personnel or amphibious landing ships? If you do, and if you have extra room, I would like to wonder if you could assist in any amphibious invasion. I currently have two battalions (~1000 personnel) that cannot fit on our current transports. They were brough in theatre aboard the 11th Expeditionary Fleet which does not maintain vessels for amphibious landings of the type we intend. If you do not have the vessels to accomodate them, we will save them to act as a reinforcement group, along with a few thousand other marines approaching in theatre aboard the 18th Amphibious Assault Group, which is an AAG under construction and only has enough assets to maintain roughly five thousand personnel. These forces will likely arrive tommorow, as they are navigating the Greek isles as they emerge from the Black Sea.
I must thank you for your warning of potential biological or chemical agents being fired. We are currently taking precautions including preparing bio-hazard containment teams to clean the vessels in the event of an attack. All crew and Marine personnel are required to carry their NBC warfare suits [well, the Marines already wear them - VEPR S2]. All vessels are on a lock-down status, so in the event a launch is detected, we will be able to react and protect our crew and the men who are 'visitors' on our vessels. Once again, thank you.

a Hatarian Spy Satelite spotted The Infinite Crucible Fleet pulling Back, trying to fool the Hatarians to Think that they were retreating, well it didn't work.....

From the Start of the Battle of Elat, Hatarian Naval High Command ordered Subs to patroll The Red Sea, Puting it under Hatarian Control. and when The Infinite Crucible Sent it's Fleet to the Red Sea, The Hatarians sent not one, not two, But Three Carrier Sentais (OOC:Sentai Means Task Force In Japanese) in to the Red Sea.

all Three Carrier Task Forces had 5 Golden Queen Galaxia Class Air Craft Carriers, (with 45 Sivik-67 Stealth Fighters, 37 Hino-34 Stealth Bombers, 23 F-58 Tiaioi Fighters and 46 B-1 Bombers in Each Carrier) 12 Neherenia Class Battleships, 15 Empire Class Destroyers, 10 Dead Moon Class Curisers, 34 Tangalee Class Attack Subs, 21 Sea Wolf Class Subs and 20 of the New Barbarossa Hunter/Killer Subs. In Each Task force

When the Report of the enemy Fleet came in, The Three Sentais headed for the enemy to attack and destroy it.

On the deck of the HNS Saturn [one of the two Vampire Class CVN's] an SH-60B Sea Hawk Anti Submarine Warfare Helo began to warm up. The Pilot was going through the last minute checks when the Admiral, wearing a Green Bomber Jacket and Brown trousers ran out onto the deck, bending low with a hand on his baseball cap in case the rotor wash blew it off. He moved swiftly over to the Helicopter's window and motioned for the Pilot to open it.

"Liutenant, there's last minute change of plan, i thought i'd deliver it in person. The Jupiter (the other Vampire CVN) won't be sending out its Sea Hawk (the Vampire's are smaller, faster Aircraft Carriers with much less planes than a Nimitz, the Vampire is a little bigger than the Ark Royal) but there are 3 Sea Hawks joining you from the surrounding escorts." The Admiral had his head almost in the window, shouting the orders over the noise of the rotors.

The Liutenant waved a gloved hand at the Admiral, "Ok sir, thanks for the info."

"No problem son, now you be back here with some kills, go kick some ass liutenant."

The Liutenant waved his hand again and the Admiral ran back to a group of Deck Crew watching the helo take off.

Out closer to the coast the 4 Sea Hawks did a fly by of the Hatarian ships, signalling they were headed the same way, they then flew off in search of the Crucible submerged units.

The Helicopters spread out in a formation that allowed them to drop Sonar buoys at 2km intervals. As they were about to report 'No Contact' for the fifth time one Helo picked up a faint signal, un-moving. The formation changed and some Helo's moved up. After a hops of 2km intervals they got a strong signal from a buoy.

"This is Shark 1-1 to Saturn, we have contact, please advise over?"

"Shark Lead, this is Saturn, if contact is strong then launch arms, you know the drill. 2 Seawolves are closing on you, as soon as they're in range i suggest you launch, do you copy?"

"Shark 1-1 we copy, will update, wait out, over."

The two Seawolves moved into position and radioed to the helo's above.

"Shark 1-1 to Saturn, launching torpedo's." Each Helicopter launched 2 Mk 50 Torpedo's (The Mk50 Advanced Lightweight Torpedo, ALWT, 100lb shaped charge warhead, speed of 40kt). The Seawolves below the sea also triangulated all their targets (in case your 'anti-radar' devices made targetting difficult) and fired. (Seawolves have 8 Torpedo Tubes and a compliment of 50 Mk 48 ADCAP Torpedo's, the Advanced Capability Torpedo has a 293kg shaped warhead, travels 28 knots and is near-impossible to evade due to improved targetting and control technology.)

Admiral, i received your Telegram regarding troop accomodation from Admiral Williams this morning. Since then i have been all three of our Amphibious Assault Ships and i'm pleased to say that there is enough room for just over 1000 troops. The three ships, HNS Antilles, HNS Arnhem and HNS Guider have free space, 300 spaces for soldiers+some equipment on the Antilles, 500 spaces on the Arnhem and 200 Spaces on the Guider. Unfortunately none of these spaces are Officer accomodation, but Admiral Williams has informed me that there is space elsewhere in the Fleet if this is needed. We can ferry them to the ships with the CV-22 and the CH-53G's if it is necessary.

Currently we have the entire 1st Marine Divisions 3 Regiments ready for an amphibious invasion. Thats just below 24,000 Marines, with aircraft and Armour, including MBT's. As i understand it you, Admiral, are in charge of co-ordinating the Amphibious landings, thus i believe under the OA that you are my CO at this time.

Look here, have you heard of the Future Force Warrior Program. If not, then you have failed to know technology. It is being tested in Natick Center, for the US army/Marines. My Guerillas did not go beyond the Wall of fire. They are still behind the fire. My C-17s put the fire out with an exthingusing chemical. I also don't act like a newbie. While The enemy Guerllias were getting in to Elat, the Hatarians were going behind them, it was a trap! And for the Bad news for The Roman Republic Guerllias, a satelite was over Elat now, Jaming enemy Radio Comuctions and making the battle hard for the enemy.

OOC: How close do those subs of your have to get. My ships and subs have great radar/sonar and would most likely see them coming unless they were really far away. Am just curious how they got so close. Also even when slightly damaged my ships could most likely outrun any threats they detected.

The boat slowed to a stop and began to head east towards the shallows. He could cruise through a neutral nations waters which would most certainly not be mined unless Hataria wished to bring more unfriendly nations into the conflict. Even if they were mined he could cruise through incredibly shallow what which mine ships of most varieties could not sail in.
The water slashed at the side of the ship as it quickly cut through the water. Within the hour he could see the high cliffs of the eastern edge of the gulf of agaba. He turned north again heading through neutral waters.
Dante stood in a small field of wheat, a slight wind blew from the east. Dante was a child at the age of six. He looked over at his mother in a long flowing dress scattering seeds into the freshly tilled soil. He always thought of hit mother as his own guardian angel. He father emerged from the house carrying a large axe. He was going to chop some wood.
Dante smiled and began to run towards his father to give him an enormous hug. Suddenly the pristine blue sky was broken by two large black helicopters. (You can replace that carrier with and vampire carrier you think would be a more probably target from space, but I just used the Jupiter because it had been named) Multiple systems began to engage as small spurts of gas shot off into space. Suddenly 15 Finger of the Emperor Rails released from the satellite and began to scream towards the target. As they move through the atmosphere two of them burned up, but the others only heated up to thousands of degrees making them even more lethal weapons. Suddenly they cleared the atmosphere and picked up speed, but only cooled a little. It was if the hand of god was coming down…

(These things are vicious. They could probably penetrate at least 50 inches of armored plating and still keep on moving. They will cause massive damage to everything within 15 feet of where they hit and will press down through multiple levels of ships in most cases coming to a stop hundreds of feet below them in the sea. 4-5 will probably miss, but may hit other ships if they do depending on formation)

This is godmod. The "all my stuff is invisible" form of godmodding is even mentioned in the stickies... not to mention that that kind of sonar masking is impossible in modern tech.

Adn the Subs also had another, deadier surprize, Up-wurd pointing Torpedo tubes, The torpedoes go up and hit the ships on the surface, and the sub can go to 2000 Miles under the sea.
Well firstly, no they cant. They would be crushed. Secondly, the sea isnt 2000 miles deep at any point. That's just complete and utter trash. The sea is at most a few kilometers (ie 2, maybe 3 at the deepest point). The upward firing torpedoes... would be useful... if you could defeat sonar in the way which you describe, which you cant. Sorry.

The men on the Saturn had not idea what they were in for. They're warning systems reported fast approaching missiles and the RAM's were kicked into action (Rolling Air Frame Missile). Three sped off into the sky, after a minute or two all three exploded and seconds later the first enemy 'round' smashed into the HNS Saturn. It ripped through the rear section of the deck and smashed into a bulkhead, sending the 'round' out through the back of the ship, tearing off bits of metal as it ripped through. An alarm klaxon barely had the time to start as another round ripped the air beside the carrier, barrelling into the sea beside the carrier.

Deck Crews began running toward the island to get inside and supposedly away from the danger, many didn't make it when yet another round ripped through an aircraft elevator, destroying a helicopter and slicing out through the overhang of the ship and into the water. Two more RAM missiles shot off and exploded mere metres above the deck sending one strange, large projectile skidding along the deck, smashing into an AH-1Z Cobra which slid of the deck along with the projectile. Another projectile ripped into the water beside the ship, sending up a geyser of water that drenched the deck.

Three Phalanx CIWS systems opened up but to little effect as another missile careered into the forward ramp (The Vampire has a take off ramp BTW) before ripping out through the hull just below the water line. The ship jolted forward as water began to rush into the front of the ship. Immediately below decks the bulkheads began to seal and the flooded compartment was closed off as the water poured in, the ship was now slightly forward in the water.

Another projectile slammed into the water behind the Carrier, going straight through the centre of an Oliver-Hazard Perry Class Frigate, which quickly began to sink, the deck crew jumping off frantically.

Another RAM missile exploded from its shell and exploded close to the deck as a projectile slammed into the middle of the ship, luckily the RAM had retarded its entry angle and speed so the projectile slammed into the center, and stopped on the reinforced floor of the hangar below. Yet another projectile slammed into a large supply ship close to the Carrier as it tried to maouver away. The Supply ship immediately exploded as the ammunition aboard ignited, buckling the ship and stopping it in its tracks.

One last projectile passed so close to the back of the carrier that it screeched as the materials touched.

Actually Check out the M8 AGS being used by the US Airborne. Constuctive Criticism will work but you will stop being cocky and I will not relaiate. Since I act like the US during the Cold War. Helicopter Assualt Ship IHS International, enroute to the Eastern Med. Currently in the Red Sea heading North

The MH-53J Pave Low III helicopter already had its rotors turning as the twelve man special forces team boarded it and stowed their gear.

The sun was setting and the deck of the ship was virtually clear, most of the helicopters either providing ASW for the small convoy heading north, or stowed beneath decks undergoing maintenance.

On signal from the Island the giant helicopter climbed into the air, and then turned and headed due North, heading up the Gulf of Aquaba (sp?).

It had been decided that some "advisors" needed to be sent to the Hatarian deployment in Acre, and these twelve men were the first to be going. Their uniforms were devoid of any identification, as were their weapons and gear, however the helicopter bore the proud symbols of the IH navy.


As the helicopter continued north the pilots, themselves highly trained aviators, brought it down to just above the wave tops and used their personal night vizion goggles to scan for ships in the Gulf. They would be passing to the West of the Hatarian task force, and landing in a small patch of desert West of Elat where there were low "enemy" troop concentrations.

Their primary mission was to observe and evaluate the fighting potential of enemy troops and report back to their senior officers via satellite radio. They were not to engage enemy troops unless they had no choice, and being highly trained in both desert, and urban warefare tactics it would only be a short firefight if one came.

Flying at wave top severley limited the helicopters range, and on the return flight it would be refueling in flight from an Air Force KC-130 tanker that was on its way to Greece from allied held Saudi Bases. However this did keep the chopper below radar and so nobody knew it was there, they even avoided fishing boats that were still out despite the warships that crowded the Gulf.


As the chopper approached the LZ, crewmen on their miniguns tensed a little and scanned the area through their own night vizion goggles.

Flaring and then hovering about half a meter off the ground the Special Forces jumped out and were soon lost in the night to even the night vizion goggles. Their tactical radios allowed them to remain in contact with each other as they moved off straight away towards their first hide up location.

The chopper meanwhile headed straight back along its entry course, popping back up into a comercial flight lane, when it was well clear of the coast and naval vessels before mating up with its tanker and returning to the International


The Special Forces reached their lay up point and quickly set up to wait out the day. Five men on watch with silenced weapons at any one time whilst the rest nervously slept as much as they could.

OOC: Ok, however the LP M8 Armoured Gun System, i have a book dated either 2002/2003 that says the project with the US Army was cancelled and the Airborne never received delivery, instead the company that built the M8 began looking for international buyers and as of FYI 2003 hadn't found any, although Taiwan and Thailand had an interest. I use the LP M8 Lvl 1-3 anyway, just i should include some recent RL info.

Ming, knowing that Roman Republic's troops were trying to get out, desided to end this Battle, He ordered Elat to be bombed to ruins, "Use Naplm Bombs on them, and destroy That City, leave nothing left of the city but dead Pasta-Eaters!" (OOC: Pasta-Eaters are what the Hatarians are calling The Romans.)

The Planes started The Bombing run, droping 5,000 Tons of Naplm Bombs on Elat, in hopes of forceing Roman Republic to retreat or surender. At the Same time, The Ships Fired Curise Missiles into Elat and fired their Cannons.

While This was Happening, The Hatarian Troops attacked Crashing with The Romans in Hand to Hand Combat, The Hatarians used Juno, and The Hatarian Hand to Hand Combat Style Huy-Kun Kickboxing and Sword Play Togeter in a deadly from of Marshal Arts First to none.

I will carry out the rp for your attacks on my subs, but not Hataria’s. It is over the top. The reasons already stated are enough, but when was the last time you saw ten enormous schools of fish moving in formation at submarine speed. Exactly. I am sorry Hataria. Oh an for the weapons platform in space, I got an issue for them a long time ago.

IC: The Emperor’s Hand floated high above earth within the infinite void of space. 15 of its launch holsters were now empty and over a thousand Hirgzstanians were dead. If a machine could gloat it would. This all came to an end though as an orange beam cut through the black and penetrated straight through the satellites core. It became nothing but another piece of space debree.

Submarine Captain Marcus Gailbraith sat in the warm red glow of the Stalker Aircraft carrier sub. It was incredibly large compared to any other sub and was jokingly called the luxury sub by smaller submarine captains. They knew this wasn’t true, life on any sub was hell. The lack of the sun, cramped spaces, and the constant rumble of the deep tested any man’s mental fortitude. He was up to it though. He was 34 and had been training on subs for 24 years. He knew it like the back of his hand.
Suddenly the sonar man cried up, incoming torpedoes!
“Wait for it”
Multiple torpedoes were closing in on every sub in the area.

A few seconds before the torpedoes hit the last of the decoys were dropped and all the buoyancy compartments flooded with emergency helium. The subs began to rise at an extreme rate. A good deal of the torpedoes were fooled, but once again some still knew the true target.
All in all 3 bio attack subs were sunk, and 3 stalker aircraft carrier subs were sunk.
The remaining fleet began a full scale retreat out of the red sea.

“Alright we have receive our official orders.”
“We are to launch our payloads into the Hatarian positions around the Elat port. This will help to thin their numbers for the Roman Republic. After we have launched all that we can we are to fallback and our nation will attempt to withdraw from the war.”
Within 15 minutes every bio attack sub had picked their targets and were ready to fire. Seven subs in total remained which meant that 56 bio warheads were going to be fired into Hatarian positions. Eight from each ship or two from each pod.
The missiles would be in groups of two, with a different virus in each missile. The first of the pair would carry smallpox in an aerosol form. The missile breaks into multiple bomblets which it spreads over a wide area. These release the virus over multiple acres.
The second missile in a pair contains a mutated form of ebola. This virus is only fluid transmittable. The mutation comes into the fact that it can remain alive without a host for up to 48 hours. This means that water can become highly infected, and that long after the threat has passed they may still become infected. The missile flies at a high altitude then the other and releases a fine mist liquid that is packed to the brim with ebola. A single inhalation of air that contains the fine mist will result in infection. Think of a mister. This can also cover multiple acres or even more area if wind conditions are ideal.
“Alright men… its time”
With that the subs surfaced and began to launch off there missiles in pairs. Over the course of ten minutes all missiles had been launched. The men merely smiled.
With the completion of the barrage the ravaged fleet turned and began to head south away from the Red Sea.

Military Complex Celta Furor

Both 3rd and 5th CAG had just completed refits at the naval yard. Originally destined for patrol duties they were now being assigned to the Acre Union. The wind and rain made conditions perilous for commercial shipping, but this would not deter the midday sailing of the fleets. Tugs were assigned to getting the carriers out of the lough. They would have to hurry since a strict deadline had been placed on the carriers. A total of two carriers was assigned to thrid CAG, giving 195 aircraft there, and one carrier would be assigned to 5th fleet. The air was filled with CYAF fighters patrolling and trying to stay on course despite the wind, they would escort the carriers for the next hours, before breaking contact and returning to base, leaving the carriers to there own devices.

Further down the complex the air force was busy preparing its C-103s for transport duties, over the next 48hours the military wanted as many of the 15000 troops deployed to the Acre Union. These transports would have total air cover the whole way, long range fighters will fuel cells would go as far as they could. OA forces could then escort the remainder of the way. Any troops left behind would be tranported using the WASPs which were returing from active duty elsewhere.

And right on time, Ratheian IL-76 aircraft flew over Elta. The enemy anti-air had been damaged by the previous cruise missile attack, and so the IL-76's aircraft expected little resistance.

They dropped their precious cargo of fifty thousand Spetznaz Paratroopers and began turning around, on their way home followed by their fighter escort.

The Rogov ships were on their way as well, flanked deep down below by Ratheian submarines. The Ratheian attack was beginning, and quite well, too.

OOC: Thanks Infinite Crucible, you’re a good RPer yourself, let your nation grow and I’d say you’ll do pretty well, especially with some of those design ideas.

The stricken Vampire was slowly making its way out of the Mediterranean, away from the Acre Union. The 10th Fleet was looking the worse for wear as it sailed alongside the incoming 2nd Fleet, which looked enormous compared to the smaller Vampire CVN’s and smaller number of ships in the Fast Attack Fleet [10th Fleet was Fast Attack]. As the HNS Saturn sailed past the HNS Gatling, the Missouri Class Battleship, and the two Iowa Class Battleships of the 2nd Fleet the 406mm Guns on all 3 Battleships (27 Guns in all) fired into the air in salute at the 10th Fleet. The very earth seemed to shake, the air seemed to shatter as the guns fired.

Admiral K. Jackson stood on the deck of HNS Independence, his bomber jacket billowing out behind him as the ship sailed on. He turned to observe the big guns salute the outgoing fleet, and then turned to face the other way again. He raised his binoculars as an F/A-18G roared off the deck behind him, blowing his bomber jacket out some more to reveal a SEAL Pendant over his left breast pocket.

A Dasiy Cutter is a big bomb that cannot be carried by convebtional Jets.

OOC: A Daisy Cutter, or BLU-82 Blast Bomb can only be carried on and launched from an MC-130 Hercules or MC-130P 'Combat Shadow' while resting on a cargo pallet. The BLU-82 weighs 15,000lb's and needs a minimum height of 6000ft for release (due to possible effects of the blast on the aircraft).

However, it is possible that another aircraft of similar size and dimension to the MC-130 Hercules could carry the bomb.

The Reinforcements start to incircle The City of Elat, this time, They got Artillery, Morters and Cannons and Rockets Most, of them Anti-aircraft Missiles.

In the air, 45 Squadrons of Sivik-56 Hitmen (34 Planes in each Squad) head to Elat to attack any Roman Planes in the Air, and to destroy the Guerllias in Elat.

The Battle wasn't over yet.

A Ratheian Spetznaz Commander picked up his radio pack and began pressing buttons until he could hear the Hatarians. He sent them a message.

"Move your forces forward! Reinforcements have arrived! This is Ratheian Spetznaz Alfa!"

The Spetznaz slowly made their wa forward, exchanging more and more shots with RR Forces. Good thing every AN-94 had a grenade launcher.

OOC: The Hatarian Reinforcements number about 450,000, armed with AK-47's, M-16's Colt-34's, grenades, RPG Lanchers and Japanese Swords for Hand to Hand combat. Just thought you would like to know.

The Artillery Fired on Elat Heavy, Morters and Field Guns fired with out mercy on the enemy in the city, while Rockets were Fired into The City in hopes of forceing The Romans to surender.

In the Air, The Hatarian Fighters Patroled The skies to make sure that The enemy doesn't get air surport. At the same Time, Apache helicopters attacked The City, fireing on it very Heavy.

OOC: Hataria: Does every guy have all those weapons? I hope not. Also 6 missiles made it through... each missile covers about 4 acres. 24 acres covered with biological weaponry, and not one death. Wow amazing. Also how did you suddenly mobalize 450k troops? Were they just sitting out in the water? No offence Hataria, but you are going more and more over the top as time goes on. Now I know RR is not perfect either, but really.

IC: The once spindly pillars of smoke were now blackening out the sky. It was as if god was releasing the plague of darkness upon his own people. It was noon, but it was becoming darker by the second. The last remaining vestiges of light and hope were quickly being engulfed by the inky black smoke.

Dante steadilly made his was towards the smoke, he was very close to Elat now. Far above him he heared the roar of fighter engines. Whether they were friendly or not did not matter, they had not seen him.
Dante cleared another ridge in the waterless land and suddenly there was a small town just below him. It had not been touched by this terrible war. He saw many people looking out at the carnage far in the distance with tears in their eyes. Even this isolated place could not escape the horrors of war.
Dante bounded down the rocks towards the village. A small boy looked up at him and ran away screaming somthing he could not understand. This was going to be difficult, how could he convince the town that he was not an enemy. Woman looked up at him and began to run. A few did not however, they picked up large knives and approached him. It was then that he noticed something. There were no men... This town had been touched by the war.
Dante raised his hands above his head and dropped his rifle and weaponry to the ground.
"I come in peace"
Many woman staired at him, unable to make out his words. The language barrier would be a difficult thing to overcome. Suddenly a woman walked out from a house.
"How can us be know"
Dante smiled, her english was broken but at least he could communicate.
"I am from another nation, one that opposes those that would take your land from you."

She smiled and said something to them in her language. They lowered there knives.

North West of Elat, about 20 miles from the major highway leading there.

After moving their hiding spot once again the Special Forces were now laying low. They had traveled nearly 35klicks from their DZ, and by now were confident that nobody had heard the chopper, or followed them.

They had left a man behind them late last night, watching the trail they had taken in his own one man hiding spot. He had seen nothing and was waiting for dark to rejoin the group after radioing in a report to that effect. If he did see anybody he was ordered not to engage unless provoked, and with his silenced M4 Carbine that would be the end of that person he was sure. However a group of armed enemies he would have trouble fighing off by himself but thankfully a satellite pass had shown no determined enemy force for miles around.

At dark the team would head out for its last hide-up, that was overlooking the main highway into Elat, to gain intelligence, and if necessary call in a strike on any threatening pieces of equipment. They had received word that their existence in country was being made known to Hataria, and that they would hopefully receive radio codes with which to call in air strikes if the need arose, or the situation demanded it before the USIH entered this war, which now seemed like a certainty.

IHS Periocles now heading South, 200 miles West of the Acre coast.

Much the same thought was passing through Vice-Admiral Robert’s head as he walked out onto the flight deck and was ushered towards an SH-60 Seahawk that already had its rotors turning. Behind it another identical aircraft was undergoing a similar start up procedure.

Roberts looked out the window as the sliding door was closed, and saluted the ships Captain as the helicopter raised itself into the air, followed closely by the backup chopper.

As it got airbourne and away from the carriers spacious deck, it turned West and headed to one of the two new flat-tops that had just joined with the group.


On the Blue Ridge Command Ship Heartbreaker much the same situation was repeated with General Carter boarding his chopper, this time an H53E Sea Dragon, and heading for IHS Peacekeeper where Admiral Lothian was preparing for a conference of the top ranking IH commanders in the theatre, including his superior, General Carter.

Intrepid was to the North West, providing air cover for the convoy containing I Corps which was getting a joint land-based and naval-based fighter escort. There were several other carriers in the Med, three Nimitz Class and a Cassandra Class however these were in the Eastern Med keeping an eye on Chellis, and the other NATO held assets in Western Europe. Besides any more ships here would run a high risk of collision, not to mention overkill.

On the escort ships and the two big battleships technicians worked on the missiles, checking them and rechecking them as target data began to be fed into their onboard computers and guidance chips.

Ask AU, Since Elat is a city. There are people, and I use the people to help me military. My aircraft have been doing runs all over AU I have many Divisions of Aircraft patroling the Country even others but not in the no fly-zones.

I'm not using Uber-weapons because the OFW is kind of our US modern uniform. the God-modding ans other Sticky threads are not helping. I know war but how to RP war. Maybe Infinite Crucible should tutor me on RP and rate my RP or maybe you should. Infinite Crucible, possibly reads more books, so he RPs better because of them. It is vey siificult to RP if the rule are not specific. Know any RP schools

As the Ratheian troops moved into the city of Elat, they exchanged fire with RR troops. However, RR was in for a big surprise.

Ratheian Troops had secured the Ports of Elat and the Rogov class ships were busy unloading their cargo of tanks and APC's. The Spetznaz would take good care of the RR Troops with their T-90's.

This is an RP school, but you refuse to pay attention in class as it where. This rifle gives increased range and accuracy due to better metals and a re-engineered barrel. At the moment the Future Force Warrior Project, in RL, has reached a dilema. Their main problem is the design flaws with the Objective Individual Combat Weapon, or OICW. Sources in the military said that in FY04 the weapon was just under 19kg and "unfeasable" at its current stage. As of FY05 and the FFW program the interim Assault Rifle the HK XM-8 (or M8) is being considered for use. It is likely that if indeed the OICW is at this weight then the XM-8 will come into use, as of FY05 no significant material has been forthcoming on the stage of the OICW. HK deny its weight is this high, they say they are working through any problems that the weapon may have. The Interim Brigade Combat Vehicle, or Stryker IBCV, is filling in until a new vehicle has been agreed on, it will hopefully come into service sometime after 2009, the same can almost certainly be said for the OICW.

However, the performance upgrades of the M4A1 RIS and the M16A3 (with RIS Rail) allow a significant portion of the Land Warrior COTS products to be mounted, thus negating the use and purpose of an interim rifle.

The associated gear, such as Armour for instance is currently avaliable. It is all being used by Test formations at Ft. Benning, the electrical equipment such as computers, integrated visors, incorporated NVS, radio's, battlefiled Networking etc, is being developed as we speak. Impresive. MY men use the XM-8 and different varients, OICW. The Future Force Warrior just doesn't do only Camelion camo and Alien Armor. Other include, Nano-tech to make invisablity only in darkness, healing wounds, and other things using nano-tech. the OFW is phase 2 to replace the land Warrior and tech from our modern American soldiers like replacing: NVG, Chemical suits, SATCOM, radios. the OFW comes out in 2010 and the Future WArrior is coming out in 2025 or 2020. I glad you and I love military tech.

The Camo changes to the colour and the helmet and clothes protect the soldier from the gas. (Although on the Defense Tech Review website there was a small report on a new Exo-Skeleton in the very early stages of development. Its basically something you would strap to your leg and would allow you to lift massive amounts of weight, its in its early stages but it works, and will be developed into a military system hopefully). The actual mock up of this new nano-tech armour isn't real of course...its just for the look, and the weapon that is being developed hasn't been shown off yet either, although its some kind of thick, adaptive pistol. And by adaptive pistol i mean something similar to the gun in 'Judge Dredd' only not that advanced.

Also, the new DNI (Direct Neural Interface) technology which is being developed for the USAF (Will supposedly allow pilots to control the plane with the thoughts of their own mind) could be used in the FFW project, as it was briefly mentioned in the original Land Warrior Brochure.

One thing i am quite interested in is the new food tablets that are seen in the video i mentioned above. Supposedly these are in the later stages of development and will be ready for human testing quite soon, a sort of meal in a tablet, only with added extra's.

THe EXo-skelton is to enhance and form muscles so they run faster and jump higher. Where do you get a Land WArrior brochure. the USAF and Army Airforce are developing the Air Warrior. the maxium weight the Exo-skelton can carry is 200lbs of gear. the bullets for the Future Warrior is going to be Smart bullets like the Copperhead Artillery shell the Paladin is using. the Food, I think is going to be a big Microchip wiyh the basic nutruients for a soldier to last up to 6 days. If pilots control the plane with thought that could be dangerous, because pilots could get distracted.

OOC: Lol the DNI technology is in its infancy, it is mostly a theory at the moment, although rumours suggest that a prototype tester is being worked on. I share your concern about the pilots thoughts but i imagine, from happening by chance on an excerpt from a Dale Brown novel, that the DNI will be advanced as to deal with such occurances. They are putting a lot of money into it so i would say flaws like that, so obvious to you and I, would have already been rectified in the theory stage.

Land Warrior brochure's came out a few years ago now, 1999 i think. I haven't held one, but i have seen pages from it and read chunks of it. It was basically a report on the future of Infantry Combat, today the FFW Reports/Brochure's would be much more valid but i doubt you could get a hold of one. Some SF forums have guys on them that have read and seen them, they would know more.

I've seen a reconstruction of what a 'Smart' bullet would do, it would act like a missile once a target is acquired...very classy idea but i would say it would take a weapon around the size of the 15.7mm Hungarian made Gepard Anti-Materiel weapon to fire the projectile.

Not only that, the pilots would need to wear SPACE SUITS in order to survive. Even SR-71 and U-2 pilots have to wear space suits and they fly at about 60,000 ft, so your totally godmodding.

A white banner had been made from a table cloth that was retrieved from a nearby residence. The remaining 62 men of that regiment in the Givati decided to surrender. Afterall, they were probably the last Givati's remaining.

They organized themselves into marching formation, with the White Banner in the front. Slowly, they marched towards the sea, stepping over friendly and enemy dead bodies, civilians, and rubble.

The situation was growing grim. Continous bombing runs from the enemies was lowering the morale of the men, and more and more pleads for surrender were being sent to the High Command.

Jakob and the High Ranking Officers were in tears. The war could not go on. The High Command refrained from contacting the situation with the Givatis in the South because it was unbearable. Unbearable to lose, unbearable to see the fact that fighting for independence means slavery once again. But this was a choice for the people. The invaders would not spare. To die or not to die? Save the children for generations to come. Freedom will be ours in time...but it does not seem to be soon.

The Hatarian Troops soon Marched into the city, and rised The Hatarian Flag over the City Hall. The City was now under Hatarian Control. After that, the Troops started telling The People of Elat to give up their Weapons that Roman Republic gave them.

Hataropoils, Hataria

Emperor Barbarossa soon sent a envoy to Acre Union to start Peace talks with that Nation. By now, all of Hataria was Partying like it was New Years Eve. The War was over, for the most part.
